This "expert" gave a false statement when she said AH's role wasn't reduced because of lack of chemistry with Jason Mimoma. AH"s own agent said that's what the studio cited as the reason. I also did not like her smirking smile most of the time, Stated that AH didn't receive additional roles was due to social media and the Waldman statement. I guess her total lack of acting ability had nothing to do with studio's not offering her roles? And for this woman to say that Mr. Depp didn't suffer ANY lack of money or roles because of the Op-Ed is ridiculous! For her to have the audacity to say that the character of Jack Sparrow had run the course and needed to be replaced is shocking! Any fan of the Pirates franchise will clearly say that they watched mostly because of Depp's Jack Sparrow character! Stating that AH lost potentially 35 to 45 million in lost salary is laughable! The only two I can think of with a similar acting careers are: Zoe Kravitz (Cat Woman) and Letitia Wright (Shuri). Everyone else from Anne Hathaway, Gwyneth Paltrow, Lupita Nyong'o, Scarlett Johansson, etc. have extensive acting careers and have started in Oscar nominated films prior to being in a superhero film.

I have to say I watched agua man because of Jason monoa and when I seen Nicole Kidman I was excited. Kidman along with Jason really pulled you into the story. I had forgotten what AH even looked like and had to go back to see, and this was truly because their chemistry as lovers didn’t feel real but just scripted. Not like omg I hope he is with Mera forever but when he play in GOT he and Daenerys brought you in like they just fitted like hand and glove. You were just drawn to them like you feel how there love felt to them It was just unbelievable
I think this is cut slightly - basically in the existing script, she gets put in the hospital in the beginning, and then at the end of the movie they cut back to her and she dies. Literally - said said this, she said they kill her off. Her role is just a get around the awkwardness of not having Meera around anymore rather than just dying completely offscreen, which I think they may end doing after the trial.
That would be the best for them. A lot of people won't go see it for not removing her sooner but some will if they take her out. But this movie is probably screwed either way because of all of this and Jason will suffer because of it too. I highly doubt she gets another acting gig.
Would be nice if she got an appropriate death scene, flashpoint style.

@Stöd Inte Svensk Media They actually can request a closed court for certain types of testimony. Film spoilers could easily fall under protected information the same way trade secrets do. Any reasonable request for a closed court can be heard by a judge and it's up to the judge to decide whether any particular day is televised or not. Whether Johnny wants it televised or not is completely irrelevant.
Even many parts of the court procedures are not broadcast, have you not watched at all? Every time the lawyers approach the bench to speak with the judge it's not allowed to be broadcast and the audio is cut. The judge can pick and choose every segment of the case to be public or not.
For one thing it's rare for a court case to be broadcast at all, and when they are, it's very common for sections of it to be silenced for privacy reasons entirely at the judges discretion.
You know WB strictly instructed Amber not to bring the Aquaman movie into the trial right as they didn't want it to be linked to this shitshow?

The thing is movie scripts and movies in general change constantly things get cut things get moved things are thought out then when push comes to shove the studio cant physically do it, won't bank roll it or don't have enough time for it meaning not paying more money for more time to film more. It's very simple one way or another you can't definitely say that it was cut because of any outside sources she is still in the film she has still be paid the exact same amount for the film and has still to this day not lost a single penny because of any outside allegation. So in law terms to normal terms this shit means absolutely nothing because they haven't had any significant evidence to the contrary

Thats a whole new trial in its entirety, i think they are bound by some contract or something not to tell that stuff...

The reality is that some people can train for freakin decades and still stuck. As evidenced by the fact that AH has had 300+ hours of personal 1-on-1 instruction time with at least one acting coach (who explicitly stated that there was no exclusively agreement or anything like that - and that she can't cry when she's acting 🤣), and no doubt has had more coaching both before and after... And she *still* can't act.
So, *even if she did* try and salvage the multimillion dollar role by putting in 5 hours of hard work every day, that doesn't mean that she met their expectations and, it definitely doesn't address the lack of chemistry between her and Mamoa.
