It truly sucks being terminally online, I hope whoever reads this realizes that your mental health and attention isn't worth giving for random people online and influencers, you have a whole life to live to worry about stuff people want you to be worried about
Every time you feel like you are in despair please remember these things, they help me calm myself:
-Remember what you are, a mere homosapiens sapiens living on planet earth
-Remember where you live, in the real world, in your home (hopefully), not in a toxic online circus
-Remember who you are, what your desires are, your hopes, your dreams, your passions, even if you think they don't matter or don't think you have them, simple desires like playing videogames, watching shows, eating tasty food, etc, they all matter
      Seek growth, and peace!

I watched a Konstantin Kisin vid a few months back where he attended a few Pro-Palestine marches in London to see what they were like. In one protest, there was a college-aged man holding a 'We need a Socialist Intifada' sign. When Kisin asked him about it, the man admitted that he didn't understand what the sign actually meant. He said "There was a guy back there handing these out, so I just took one."
At the end of the vid, Kisin concluded that the protests actually weren't as crazy or irrational as he thought they would be, but it revealed there a LOT of young, impressionable, naive (but usually well-meaning) people attending them who don't understand the core issues - they just want to feel like they're doing something good or that they're part of something bigger than themselves. They're directionless and easily manipulated.

This is going on at most if not all the Ivy League schools as well as many other big name schools. All it does is demonstrate how they are no longer bastions of academia and instead are coasting on their historical reputation to rake in as much money as possible.
Academia is the right setting for radical progressive thought (theoretically) because that’s where those ideas can be challenged on their merits and exposed as shams by actual intellectuals. What’s happened though is (not unlike a certain global event from 2020) the idea (virus) escaped the classrooms (containment) into the real world and the rest of the institution. This didn’t happen recently however, this has been going on for decades as plenty of the so-called intellectuals they employ carry some of the first strains that escaped. They and their peers just spread it over time. What we are currently seeing is a variant.
