For real, watching their side of the room looks fun and warm. They sit and laugh with one another, share candy, and are always real friendly. Each and every one of them are included in things and help one another out. You see them all speak with each other and giving warm goodbyes when trial is over.
Yet when the camera eventually pans over to Amber’s corner … it’s distant and cold. She always sits to herself and doesn’t bother interacting with anyone near her. She never touches anyone or turns to speak. The girl in the back is never talked to by anyone and sometimes she may sit alone. Rottenborn always looks like he made a huge mistake, Elaine constantly rubbernecks and acts like she’s going to have a meltdown all while Amber just stares blankly and watches Johnny’s corner, always mad or looking like she wants to cry.
And here's the thing: Ben Chew is huge; he has won $billion suits; he does international law; he has sued the government - and won. He is a big deal. You would never know by how he is acting here. 2 hugely successful people who are just real human beings.
As someone with experience with drugs. It really looks like JD is trying to figure out if this guy is on something.

the psychologist says in his deposition that he used PotC movies as a baseline for Depp's cognitive abilities. This is an inappropriate way to take a baseline because movies and commercials is a time for acting and involves a lot of editing and would not serve as an appropriate baseline for one's cognitive ability. So, later on, when Depp's lawyer then asks the psychologist about Willy Wonka, he's taking a playful jab at his incompetence/mistake, and was rhetorical. It was a time for Amber's team to object...if they were awake over there.
