    • @peoplez129
      @peoplez129 Před 2 lety +6

      What they do is shop for "experts" by not asking them to come testify impartially, but rather, to argue the conclusion the lawyers want them to come to. It should be downright illegal. They probably contact a dozen different people, tell them what they want to argue to support, have them all send back their "thoughts" and pick the one that plays ball. This is why their "experts" are such nutjobs. It's a shame they aren't more thoroughly cross examining these people, but it's strategy too, because put these fools in front of the jury too long and they might eventually say something that seemingly has some coherency. Amber's lawyers put these people up hoping that Depp's team would fall for it and go down the rabbit hole with these quack "experts". I think the jury isn't being fooled. The "experts" they had on today were all terrible, all crossing their owns words, from a so called movie industry expert that knew little about movies, to the hand surgeon that literally lied about the angle the finger was injured from, to this guy who was the definition of bias.
      If this wasn't such a circus, the trial would already be ended. Amber and ALL of her witnesses and experts have been caught lying and changing their testimony on the fly, which means they should ALL be impeached. They may still yet. The lawyers haven't moved to impeach yet, so Amber could find herself impeached, along with all of her so called experts, meaning the jury can only decide based on what Depp's side has presented, and everything else must be treated as if it never happened. Of course, that would mean Amber loses by default, and such a devastating amount of impeachments, even if warranted, may never be granted by a judge, simply because of how all encompassing it is to Amber's case. But you better believe if you were in a murder trial and you go and lie on stand, the prosecution is going to impeach your testimony entirely. We give civil cases way too much leeway when it comes to lying.

      In my opinion every single psychology “expert” during this whole trial has come off as a quack and extremely biased, making it up as they go along to earn the $$$$$$$$$ dangled in front of them to say whatever each team of lawyers paid them to say. This includes Shannon Curry, a supposed “saint,” from the sound of the comment boards.🙄.
      I wouldn’t have been selected for jury duty in this case because I have an obvious bias in favor of JD and have always disliked AH, but if I was somehow on the jury I would be disregarding all of the testimony from all of the “experts” in the psychology field for both sides. Garbage “science” in my opinion, all of it. I hope JD wins, but his psych lady was obviously biased too.

    Johnny Depp's reactions to that ridiculous display were perfect. The facepalm said it all, and then there's that moment at the end where his expression looks pained at what he's had to sit through, followed by the little "shake it off" shudder as if to say "WTF was that?" and clear his head of the nonsense. JD's reactions are basically exactly what mine would be. He's very relatable :)
