    I have to say as a garden designer, I'm jealous of your access to moss and other materials. You truly are an artist.

    • @SRM_NZ
      @SRM_NZ Před 3 lety +4

      I have found if you use the 'dried' sphagnum moss that comes in the bagged blocks, if you soak that for a while and then plant it on a garden mix it will start to grow again...well it has for me....other than collecting moss myself, which can be iffy at best, it's been a reliable way for me to use moss.

      I do a variety of gardening work. Often I have customers with mossy lawns. I rake up lots of moss (mostly to use as an ammendment in vegetable beds, for air layering plants, or indeed to re-grow) before I do the actual mowing.

    • @googleuser1964
      @googleuser1964 Před 3 lety

      You can grow moss anywhere...just take a parous rock, stone or brick and apply some yogurt on it. I am not making this up. I saw this tip on BBC gardener's world 😊

    I have been binge-watching your videos since I discovered your channel a few days ago. It is so interesting to see how the layering of materials, top to bottom and front to back, creates the illusion of a greater amount of space than is there and it is truly magical as to how many plants and objects can be put into a small space and not feel crowded! When I lived in Lima, Peru some people had similar gardens in their homes. Most homes had no windows on the sides as they were built up against each other. Only windows/doors in the front and back (like a Kyo-Machiya) and sometimes only in the front. So each home had a central column to let in light and air and a number of my friends used the space to have a garden. In Spanish it is called a "tragaluz" but I don't know what the equivalent would be in English. Maybe "skylight".

      循環はしていないですね。
      基本的には手を洗う場所ですので、水が汚れたら、綺麗な水を注ぐようにしています。

    Such a beautiful garden in such a small space. The garden adds esthetics into the home so wonderfully.
