    I like the custom light. Looking forward to what happens at the bathroom corner. If this was my garden I would put a variegated bamboo in the corner. The night light would “reflect” off the variegated leaves, and the bamboo would soften the corner. If the bamboo had really small leaves it would help with forced perspective and create an illusion of more depth.

    Hi, what is the method of tying the roots of the plant inside hessian called? Also what is the purpose of it. Thanks

    • @pietervanweert3735
      @pietervanweert3735 Před 3 lety +1

      Hi, i don't know how the method is called. But i believe that its done for transportational purposes. The plants are grown in the ground not in pots so when you first sell a plant you have to dig it out of the ground and thats when they put burlap or hessian on to keep the rootball together after digging it up. You can remove it before planting again opionions differ on if thats necessary or not. I know this method is not exclusive to Japan. :)

      @yashashwitsharma Před 3 lety +1

      @@pietervanweert3735 thank you very much! I'm quite curious about this method. I wonder if its to control the size of the rootball and if it can be applied to other trees too.

      What is the white powdery stuff on the ground? May be a kind of fertilizer?
      I think, two plants (trees?) are too much for the tiny space despite someone will trim them in the Japanese way...
