    This is what I like about a Japanese gardener. They work very organized, and neat, and think of quality not quantity.

    So beautiful, thank you for creating this video. If possible, I would love to watch a video where a Niwashi explains the technique of waterfall construction - particularly how they build the river bed to ensure it does not leak water, yet can be concealed with rocks and pebbles so that you cannot see what has been used underneath.

    I dont like the view of the large rock in front, I feel it takes away from the waterfall itself, I love the craftsmanship, a true visionary!, Thank you for the videos.

      Without the rock in front it would be more like a slide. The running water needs to be hidden at times. My view, also the large rock is to balance the catch basin large utilitarian look.

      That's right.
      In Japanese gardens, the emphasis is not only on showing the garden in all its glory, but also on hiding it, sometimes intentionally.

    My question is, will the grate where the drain is will it be noticeable? I for sure will have to find a way to conceal that. To give it a more natural look. Hopefully, in the next video that will be the result.

    I’ve been watching this channel for more than a year now. I love these videos and hope to build these here in America. I have always wondered how much these projects cost. I know putting exact numbers probably is t the best but can you tell us around how much this cost.

    • @JapaneseGardenTV
      @JapaneseGardenTV Před 2 měsíci

      It is difficult to tell you here.
      The cost of living is quite different from the U.S., and I think it is quite inexpensive compared to the U.S. amount.

      The rock placement is excellent, as is the overall composition of the stream. An EPDM rubber liner under everything and waterfall foam sealing the rocks is a much more successful technique than using plastic liner down the middle, sealed with concrete. Over time the ground will shift, the concrete will separate from the rocks, and the water will leak out; requiring constant repair. Firestone EPDM Pond liner is the thing you need. 🙏🏻
