    If there’s anything I’ve learned from watching these Japanese garden design shows… it’s that I want one of those mini trucks.

    👌 Hello from Australia. We miss Japan very much and so to feel closer to your country we built our own Zen garden outside our bedroom window. Thank you for your videos. We love watching them 🥰

    My challenge is to use Japanese garden techniques in the desertscape of Las Vegas-Henderson, Nevada. It’s a slow endeavor, but an enjoyable one. Learning a lot on general Asian gardening and local anthropology, botany, & geology. Thank you Japanese Garden TV.👋🏽

    Hey, sorry if you've been asked this before, but why is the rope and wrap on the trees left on when planting? Or is it being removed? Love you work guys, keep it up!

    I like it! Can't wait to see the finished product! I've always wanted to visit Nikko, but every time I'm in Japan, there's just not quite enough time for it. So, did you say this place will become a dumpling restaurant? By dumpling, do you mean gyoza? If so, I must go there when I'm in Japan next time! Looking forward to your next video!

      This restaurant is not "Gyoza", it's "Dango"shop 😊.

    Btw, what size are those garden scissors? 210mm or 230mm?
    What brand do you recommend for affordable but still okay quality?

      @JapaneseGardenTV  Před 3 lety +1

      As for the scissors, gardeners usually choose around 200mm.

    真砂土ではなく黒っぽい土を使うのは何か意味があるのでしょうか?

    • @JapaneseGardenTV
      @JapaneseGardenTV  Před 3 lety

      関東の土は基本的に黒土になります。真砂土に比べて、黒土は栄養が多いので、樹木を植栽する際には良く使われます!また、土壌改良材としても使われますね。

    Why’s the tree covers not removed?

    • @JapaneseGardenTV
      @JapaneseGardenTV  Před 3 lety +1

      The roots will come out through this bag. Also, unlike plastic, this is hemp cloth, so it will decompose quickly in the soil. On the other hand, if we take the bag away, the soil will be removed, originally attached to the roots, increasing the possibility of water loss.
