Covered in Hives is the only acceptable name for a Hives tribute band
Brilliant 😂🎉🎉😅
Genius 😂
Excellent, "The Hive Nots" may also be considered
What about The B-Hives?
How about a hive cover band called SCRATCH?
I can never tell whether The Hives are being serious or not tbh 😂
One of the reasons I love them!
I agree , I’m going with it’s just a joke.
They're great at being rubbish
I get the joke that The Hives are doing with that announcement 😄... It has helped to bring up a very interesting topic today.
I'm not much keen on the term "franchise", even less in music, because, for me, it's the complete opposite to originality (in the sense of unique).
I think the term "tribute" is better because I'd like to think that all tribute bands do that kind of shows to pay respects and enjoy their favourite band songs at places where isn't possible to get the original ones (mainly because they're no longer with us, but also for logistical reasons with promoters and all that stuff...)
Nice one!👍
I was lucky enough to work with the The Hives when they signed to Poptones and have my work used on two of their UK singles covers and tour poster.
Nobody could ever live up to the requisite panache of Justin Hawkins. 😏😎 Just not possible. Even if they can play the songs, hit the notes. Just wouldn’t be the same. Absolutely couldn’t live up to the showmanship levels on stage either along with humorous offerings between, and during, songs! 😁
Great idea! I'm all for it. Side note, my buds and I fantasized about forming an all middle-aged ladies Darkness Cover band called "The Dinner Lady Arms"
I do agree with you :) czcams.com/video/cf0RPo5IkeU/video.html
The Hives are just on another level, it's unbeilevable at this point! Pelle also is very funny and entertaining guy, comes across as really polite and humble in interviews. Anyone could have a wonderful conversation with him, he's really nice
Congratulations on your 500k subscribers.. you are one cool person 😎
We do it because we love you! Promise!
If you keep up the Nicorette, you won't need to be replaced.. ..and that's how we want it Man.
Saw an AC/DC tribute band a couple of years ago, if you hadn't told me they were a tribute band before I saw them I would of never of guessed, they were amazing.
Was it Airborne? Lol
have & have, please
@@foxvalleybandvids no idea who it was, was at a biker festival, they were just on, they were incredible
@@matthewoconnell4700 I saw a couple over here(NZ) in the 90s. One was TnT and one was high Voltage. Both of the singer were amazing. They sounded like Bon and Brian. The crowd including me were amazed.
Was it GayC ⚡DC ? 😂
Brilliant discussion, and what a strangely magical experience it is to have one of my favorite artists talking about another one of my favorite artists. Also please tour in New York.
A Band known as The Spazmatics does this very thing. So I'm told..
I am floored that I heard you mention the band Brown Hornet. Back in the day between 1992 and 1999 when I lived in Austin my circle of friends were acquainted with the Brown Hornet musicians. I'm so glad you are familiar with them. They are some of the most unique and best folks on the planet!❤
I am grateful that a star of your stature makes themselves so available to the public via CZcams. Cheers. From my American rock guy POV you represent all the cool power and joyously subversive glam of British rock music. I remember when "Thing Called Love" broke in the US and it stood out from everything else and everybody was talking about it and had an opinion on it. Bravo. Then "Growing on Me" which is naughty cool I think it's one of the best British rock and roll songs written. I'm not just kissing your butt; I promise. Brit rock stars have an appeal to Americans that is different from what you are accustomed to at home. It's like you guys exist in another world. The Beatles started this perception then Led Zeppelin and it persists.
Justin's one of the few that really get's to know his fans. Another is Zakk Wylde. He was one of the only musicians who actually walked around the grass areas of Ozzfest when I went and shook hands w/ fans and stood around for photos and conversations... Like seriously?!?! Who fuckin' does that except those w/ hearts of gold??? Justin, that includes you mate!
These are fully valid questions all the way. It's easy to say that, no you want the original, but a lot of bands are not the original anyway... It's as with the person owning a broom where the bristles are wearing out, so they exchange the bristles, and then the handle breaks off, so they replace the handle... Is it still the same broom?
For me personally, I am often quite hung up on the sound of the singer in most of the bands I like (the singer I learned to love first), and changing that is usually something I don't ever manage to get over, really. I mean, as much as I love Brian Johnson, as much as I have seen him with AC/DC live many times and had a great time, I as good as NEVER listens to Brian Johnson era AC/DC at home. I always go back to Bon Scott era AC/DC, again and again and again... In the end, HIS is the voice I want and crave, and nothing could really replace it.
But that is my personal hang up, about the singers' contribution, and I'm not sneering at the idea in itself at all (in so far as that it's not really any difference between this and a... tribute band, really). As long as you are clear on what it is that you get.
So, yeah, yay for The Darkness tribute bands and The Darkness covers, I'd love to see and hear, but... I don't really see YOU as actually replaceable, no.
Looking forward to seeing the Darkness this Thursday (14th) in Bristol 👍
If I'm going to spend money, more than likely there will be travel to a gig it sure better be the people who created the music I'm going to hear or they're no point in going. If I'm in the mood for a tribute band, that's a whole different vibe.
Hey Justin, i was at that festival you headlined with the Queen tribute band - it was Rat Race 2022. You guys were awesome, and absolutely more than did yourselves justice following on from that tribute bans (who were also awesome by the way!). It was just wholesome awesome kick ass rock and roll all round!
Justin, maybe you have mentioned it in another video, what guitar and model do you have? Love the tone of it, just great bass, mids, and highs! Sounds good even acousticly! ✌️
Everytime i see a pop up from this dude i always catch myself singing his intro song. Damn you justin
“AGAIN!!!”
Would the Jimi Hendrix Experience therefore be the Jimi Hendrix Experience Experience?
Excellent Justin … you are the King of the Cardigan 🌈Hives are Epic simply the Best 💪💪
Wishing you a rocking Christmas 🤘
Hahaha, there's a canadian band called "Alexisonfire" that did this in a music video, they were training stand ins for touring 🤣. The music video was for "Hey, its your funeral momma" lol
I think you might need 2 singers to replace your good self in The Darkness experience!
Sorry hard pass. No one can wear a catsuit like Justin Hawkins. Witnessed his singing and amazing physique so close at a concert his sweat hit me. Plus how about his vocals…come on who can duplicate that? I’ll wait…right no one. 🌺
I too would like to turn my attention back to The Darkness. I have to say that I was in complete disbelief when The Park Theater, Winnipeg MB, Canada announced that you were coming. I was especially skeptical seeing the price of tickets, lol! I was looking very, VERY carefully to ensure it wasn't a cover band and then decided to go for it despite my doubts. I figured that at least the songs would be enjoyable even if it ended up just being a cover band😆 I was delightfully surprised that it was really you! I would absolutely love to see you again but I would sooner watch a pay-per-view of a live performance on my tele than watch doppelgangers perform your material. It still makes my hearts burst remembering the pandemic Christmas special I viewed from afar. Much love 🫶
Hope there's a Spinal Tap coming to my town--concept works for Dunkin', McDonald's, why not music? Thanks for exploring this topic. Justin Hawkins could be emulated, imitated, but never duplicated. Rock on, mighty JH!
Wow this channel is growing fast.
two minutes into this video and I found myself saying YES!
Near 20 years ago I fronted a tribute show and I tried to contact Sony ( who the
actual band were with at the time) for some sort of offical endorsement from either the label or band.
They couldn’t get their head around it, one person from the label took it as us trying to stick our hands in their pockets!
Maybe that was partially true because I wanted to advertise the show as “officially endorsed by [ band themselves or label]” to help secure gigs and more club over pub gigs . I wanted to build a show that was more than 5 dudes onstage, wanted to replicate a version of some staging/ props etc, of the real thing for a pub or club stage.
I feel something like this can help the bands actual audience ( original band not tribute band) especially in places like where I live, Australia. Costs a lot to get a band here, then that reflects in ticket prices. An “ officially endorsed tribute act” can carry a bit more weight and therefore the original band /act can see that they aren’t being represented poorly.
I think the original band members should also have say on the tribute show members, helps give more weight to the endorsement of the tribute act.
There are also some bands that couldn’t care less about the in and outs of the tribute bands replicating them, they are just pleased that other musicians like them enough to create a tribute show about them.
Thats probably the right way around to do it. I doubt your gig audiences would be too understanding if you went on stage and whispered "I'm saving my voice for my CZcams channel".
Fair play.
Its a great idea. Hope more artist do it
There's a Japanese metal band, Maximum the Hormone, that recently created an official franchisee cover band, comprised of superfans recruited in national auditions. They run their own tours and produce their own albums under the same label.
I'd still see The Darkness 2 or 3 times a tour And give a faximile a go too! Shows your generosity of spirit and quiet confidence that you will never be bested.
This hits home as you’re discussing my career….. you added some wise words. Thanks mate
The Hives are, by far, the best live band I've ever seen. They could be playing in front of 50 people or 50,000 people and the show would still have the same insane amount of "Rolling Stones on steroids" energy. You'd have to have some massive balls to want to start a Hives tribute band.
Just saw them for the 4th time November 1 and they’re still the best live band on the planet.
I’m still shocked the North American tour Was booked in smaller venues . The Sinclair in Cambridge M.A. is only 525.
The question is: can a franchisee bring the noise to the intensity of The Hives. Still the best festival band I have experienced, and I emphasise "experience".
0:35 Why have I taken this long to discover Justin's amazing CZcams channel LMAO
3:20 I like the acknowledgement of tribute bands. I'm obsessed with playing my favorite band's songs but I think tribute bands deserve love and respect just like original bands because ultimately tribute bands represent the significance and cultural immortality of the music they play in the live setting.
So many interesting ideas in what you're saying.
An early 2000’s band called Art Brut franchised themselves as well. It was the first I’d ever heard of it and it struck me as a very funny, Duchamp-esque move.
Difficult with The Darkness the singer would have to have the same coloratura range that you have. Not many guys do. Interesting idea though.
Yesss do it also ! 💪
There's Castlepalooza here in Aus that's a festival for cover bands.
An interesting video and good points raised. Never really thought about the whole load of tribute bands knocking around for the last few decades, and how they don't have to kickback some share of the spoils to the original artist, or do they?
Kraftwerk would be the perfect frachise setup, but ironically have never really played without a founding member on stage.
Its a great idea.... The Stone roses tribute band The Complete Stone roses are absolutely amazing and sold out Spike Island just like the legendary Roses did and it was an amazing gig
This is a difficult one Justin you could have eased us into Monday with something less controversial to debate, lol.
There are some cracking tribute bands out there, so technically it I possible and would still I hope mean live performances. It would also potentially be cheaper than seeing the real act play live. But just because something is technically possible doesn't mean we should do it. Doesn't a licenced/franchised version of a band cheapen the band itself? Also, are we now at the stage where the ABBA Voyage is going to be the more likely way forward?. I believe KISS are already looking at doing something like the ABBA model. I am not sure how I feel about the prospect of that yet, I guess it is really theatre rather than a concert.
The other thing is that given the choice I would still rather see the real act, whether that is with all the members or at least a significant amount of them playing live. There is something special about seeing the original band play, for example, I have seen the Rolling Stones a couple of times and the tribute act The Counterfeit Stones a couple of times too both were entertaining, but one was a gig you will never forget, the other was a night out enjoying the music of a band the tribute act artists clearly love as much as the audience.
I think all in all I don't like the idea of a franchised The Darkness, Hive or any other band, that said if tribute bands are touring the music then by all means the original artists can give them an endorsement of some kind.
wish i'd ever seen the Stones. There's still time... just
The franchising idea is a great concept for the 1990s, but now with the info available on the internet, a tribute band can do it on its own.
Continuing with Queen as the example, Brian and roger put together the official approved tribute band. Initially with some guy Marc, who after a couple of years, he left and created his own Queen tribute band, separate from roger & Brian.
I’ve done covers most of my life. I’ve made a decent living from it for 35 years. But 3 one hour sets 3-5 nights a week for 30+ years has taken its toll on my body and soul. I have recently stepped away from live shows due to my pain issues. My recent act was a 90s genre tribute band. My concept and ideas. It was just becoming super popular when I had to have neck and back surgery. Now I can’t do it. BUT…this video gave me an idea to hire who I really want for the band, run it from the sidelines and still make a little money. Just a thought. I could and may write a book about my experiences over all these years. I’m currently embarking on a music production journey and I’m loving it! Thanks Justin🤘🏻
Curious as to what a well know cover band can make a night playing the local or tourist hot spot?
@@Kevvinm from 2,000 to 5,000 average depending on a few factors. But I know of tributes that have been around for many years making give or take 10,000 per show. For real.
@@jackbriz99 my guess was around 2000.00 . That’s great you can make more. I was at a packed bar in Old Orchard M.E. this summer and wondered what the , mostly 90’s , band was getting for the night.

Angus can never be replaced. Mal was but is sorely missed. Brian was replaced due to tour commitments but is still struggling. Phil Rudd and his feel in drums has never been replicated by anyone sitting in the drum seat.
At some point replacing band members becomes a karaoke act.
Double check your info, bro. Wikipedia 'is not' fact checking.
@@667neighbourofthebeast what are you talking about out. Brian was replaced due to hearing issues with Axl and the tour had to be rescheduled until Axl was on board. So again what are to referring to Wiki for. 😐
Justin, tribute bands are a BIG thing in the USA right now. I sing in a band called "PULSE ,A TRIBUTE TO PINK FLOYD". We were voted the number one Pink Floyd tribute band in America. I also sing background vocals for a "Tina Turner" show called "Elevation Memphis" ,where my song sisters from "PULSE " play "Tina" at different Intervals of her life. We just played the 50th anniversary of the song "NUTTBUSH" at the Tina Turner museum in Nutbush Tennessee. We are on fire right now & every show is selling out. I just went to see a dear friend who's a Rod Stewart tribute artist named " Rob Caudill". He travels all over the world with a LAS VEGAS caliber show. We ALL put on top notch shows, complete with great sound & lighting, and most of us are in several other working bands that do covers & originals. My cousin is in a band called "Landslide" & I bet you can guess what band they pay tribute to. Honestly I can't see anyone being able to recreate your AWESOME voice. If so, I'D be at every show! At first, I felt like I was selling out by imitating someone else's music & persona. God knows being from Memphis you can imagine how many cheesey "ELVIS" impersonators that we are subjected to. We call August "Dead Elvis month" , & believe me we've seen Elvis's or Elvi of every size, age, shape, nationality, gender, & color. Lol. After much thought I came to the conclusion that if you're in a cover band, all you're doing is playing other people's music anyway, so why not put your heart and soul into it ,and give the people a real "balls to the wall" show? Think about it, you can be in one band and play 40 different artist's music for one paycheck, or be in several Tribute bands , have more gigs, and make more money. After covid it's one way for musicians & singers to survive. Food for thought...LOVE your Podcast. I NEVER miss an episode. ❤
What about releasing studio recordings, videos et cetera?
I could see this being cool. Especially for the massively popular but older bands. If AC/DC auditioned and created AC/DC 2.0 making them as close to the original as possible. I would love to watch them in a smaller venues for less money than the real deal.
I get the authentic experience tribute but the cultural, demographic, regional and stylistic differences could make this really interesting.
The Hives UK, The Hives UK Surf, The Junior Hives, The Jamaican Hives, Les Hives Canadien, Los Hives El Paso, The Hives from Down Under...
Obviously hold an annual Gathering of The Hives.
Just seen the latest Drumeo video. I think that it's worth mentioning that Nandy is from sunny Ipswich.
Hi Justin, a question for comments day. You mentioned on a previous video that you applied to study jazz but didn’t get in. Were you a jazzer in your younger years? Do you still listen to/play jazz now?
All I know is I've been a fan of their music since Vvv came out. They did not disappoint in concert around '07 either.
I've often said to my fellow band mates that instead of being a generic 'rock covers' trying to get gig slots in local pubs - being a tribute band actually sells better because people know what they are getting. And, as you say, it allows people to enjoy the music without paying £75+ and wait 2-3 years to see the real thing.
I seemed to be alone in wanting to be in a Def Leppard tribute though - anyone interested??

Hi Justin!
Wouldn't tickets be more expensive than seeing the original band?
What’s truly genius is that yet again, this is The Hives in marketing beast mode. Inflammatory, weird press release garners shock and bewilderment. Four days later, another release comes with tabs and lyrics for one song, a request that every cover band wear some era of Hives outfits, play a show (even keep the money!), and submit horizontally oriented video of them playing the one song so The Hives can make a music video! ZERO bands match The Hives. They’re so far out there! I wish they were a hirable marketing agency.
Also, I’d never pay a nickel to see a cover or “franchise” band. It is another way in which I am no fun.
Years ago there was a Darkness tribute band called the Darkest. Dunno if you remember that😂
Ps, see you in Glasgow in a couple of hours 🤟
I’d love to do the Dan role in an official Darkness franchise band. Look nothing like him, but I’d give the playing a damn good swing.
Hi Justin
I love ur Chanel and of course adore the Darkness
Interesting topic
I play in. Fleetwood Mac tribute and cover guitar and vocals
I look nothing like either peter green or Lindsey Buckingham but love bringing energy and passion to bring the wonderful songs of Fleetwood Mac to people in a live setting
Wonder if franchising a band is possibly a way for a band to have some kind of quality control over how tribute bands like myself represent their band ?
Personally I'm a wee bit sceptical but I can see how this might work. I guess it's almost an extension of licensing a track to be sampled - if the original creator has faith in and trusts the artist using said sample then fine. It would also give "cover" bands the opportunity to rise above the hum-drum pub/club/minor festival circuit. But absolute creative control must rest with the original band/artist.
The Hyves, as I will call them for illustrative purposes to delineate this entity from that of the original entity; The Hives, would need to at the very least embody the spirit of The Hives in the somewhat intangible ways that true consumers of The Hives would recognize so as but to outright reject The Hyves but instead embrace them and, and, God willing, go home with enough of a taste of the genuine article to come out better for it.
I harken back to a previous Justin Rides Again (Again) video concerning a duet performance between Guns N Roses and I believe it was Carrie Underwood. While watching the video of the live performance it was noted by Justin that during her performance she started doing the "Axel Rose", a signature part of Axel's repertoire which is almost a requisite to nailing the vocal performance.
Whatever The Hives equivalent of the "Axel Rose" is, The Hyves would need it in spades to pull this off.
Justin Fucking Hawkins Rides Againnnnn!!! 🎶🎶🎶🎸
The Hives are Great. They can do whatever they Like.
This may seem a strange comparison, however take the Australian children’s supergroup, The Wiggles. Each member having been replaced several times over. And each time, the replacement was EXTREMELY talented and delivered the concept created by the original members, with respect, enthusiasm and authenticity.
❤❤❤
Could it be argued that the brilliant Rufus Taylor is in his own effectual cover band of the brilliant Ed Graham on a considerably large slice of a Darkness set?
See you tomorrow Justin and the Darkness…
They've since revealed that it's for a music video. If you record yourself performing their song 'Two kinds of trouble' as a tribute band and send it to them, they'll use the footage for the video. Anyone can take part as long as you dress like The Hives.
I think cover bands are a good idea to bring people the music of big bands, as everybody can not to travel or have enough money to see the real band.
And some of them are really good.
It's interesting to think about the different roles in the band, in yours (The Darkness) you have every one member personality... So it's funny, of course thinking in outfit the one who plays Dan's role have it easier 😂... I'm going to propose to Dan different colors Thin Lizzy t-shirts!
But coming back to the subject, to me there are two different things, one is cover bands and another one real bands who lose one, two or even all members and go on existing with new members. I don't now any international example of this last one, but here in Spain we had the example with one rock band called Triana (who i recommend to you ti check)
They were on top in last 70s and created an original style mixing rock and flamenco sounds... When the had only 5 albums their front man died in a car accident, and one of the member decided to dissolve the band but the other one wanted to go on when he discovered that there were a lot of Triana's cover bands. He announced coming back of Triana with him and new members. The other old member got angry and they ended up in a trial...
Then i know another example, in a band of "sevillanas" (this is a typical flamenco music from my city).
As their member started to die they added a new one in their place. Nowdays the only original member who exist told in one interview, "we created an style and sound, a way of writing songs... It doesn't care who the members are if the rules, style and personality stands, we are like a label so we never will die as a band.
Justin please check out the SilverChair performance of Straight Lines on Craig Ferguson, i'm interested in hearing your thoughts on singing when sick or throat is screwed up Cheers!
You should react to Sticky Fingers - Cyclone. Great Aussie band with sick vocals and a very tricky acoustic guitar solo.
Musical vulnerability to Queen tribute bands such as Majesty, Queen Nation, and others would indeed be a significant hurdle facing prospective The Darkness franchise bands. In fact, Queen franchises could easily conquer the UK retro rock scene within a few months. Other UK bands where a franchising strategy could fare well in a battle of the legacy rock acts might include The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, and Whitesnake. Official franchising could give such groups the edge over the tribute bands.
The Hives are awesome.
1:57 Around here I was thing "Gene Simmons totally has been looking into this."
I’m usually nodding my head along to your videos, unfortunately this time I’m shaking my head the whole time. I can’t think of any better way to suck all the remaining soul out of music than the creation of McBands.
Really ? czcams.com/video/cf0RPo5IkeU/video.html
It's only unfortunate for you, fortunately.
McBands ? do you like that kind of music ? are you serious ? McBands has the worst songs, music that I ever heard in all my life . I can´t believe how poor in taste for music some people can be , Jesus Christ . Go and listen to some Real Dub or even true Hip Hop .
Evidently not>@@TallTee27
Nope, I’m sure plenty of people agree with this point. Opinions are like assholes, etc. I can’t think of anything worse for rock n roll than making it *even more* capitalist than it already is. Goes against its very essence.
Genius idea
There would be no analogue that could have your command, presence and personality. In Kansas City, when you did "Love on the Rocks (w/no ice)", You had an almost shamanic control of your environment. I don't think anyone could accurately portray what I saw onstage. I'd be one of the punters who would be saying, "Yeah, but it ain't The Darkness, is it?."
I'll gladly take the stage with The Darkness anytime the opportunity avails itself, but not as Justin Hawkins, or even Jason Harkins..Personally, I like the Mic too much to turn it loose easily. It was really tough closing the doors on my old band. You well know that feeling doesn't exist anywhere else. Once you step to a mic, it's like another world of pure focus. Then again, im remarkably lazy also. :)
Agaaaaaaaaain🎶🎶🎶🎶
Hey Justin, keep up the good work we love ya! Could you give us any tips on recording in general? Demos are on our channel. cheers man take it easy!
Bro I haven't seen a Diadora logo since like '98.
Kiss have absolutely franchised everything possible. Fair play to them as it keeps their income relevant to them. 😂
Mooted for an ABBAesque virtual reality stage show.
I've seen opening acts win out over tribute bands but, only when the main act isn't the same genre - it's a whole other mood
A fucking love the Hives. Fucking love them.
I have to say that I'm a bit uncomfortable with the idea. Even though I love tribute bands, I don't think that I like the idea of turning them into a business. Cause I think that what I like with tribute bands is that even though they try to mimic the real band as closely as possible, it's still interpreted in their own way, out of love and there's artistry in that. I fear that by monetizing it we'll lose that, cause it's not just passion anymore. I think that I don't like the idea of "exploiting" people's passion for financial gain, which is already a problem in lots of artistic professions.
Also, I think that there's a lot of beauty in the fact that the art is born from an artist (or a band), evolves with them and then keep on living without them. There's an history, and every great history has an end!
Also, to me a song is meaningful because it's made by a human that lived and experienced stuff and out of all of that comes a song. Sure someone else can get the feeling, relate to it and make a great interpretation of it... But is it still the same thing ? I don't think it is, no matter how great it is, or similar ! So yeah, not sold.
That being said, I never really thought about it before watching this video. So that's my opinion right now but I feel like I'd have to think about it some more. And it's fascinating to think about, so thank you ! ❤
I think this is a fairly decent idea. At least this way it gives the original artists a way to make money off of people covering their songs. As it is now, cover bands can just go around playing other people's music and, usually, end up making more money than new, original artists. I think for it to actually work though is it has to be for a band that actually is in demand and every single member needs to be full on impersonator quality for look, dress, attitude, performance and sound. People will want to pay for the full experience. I can use 2 Led Zeppelin cover bands I have seen for examples. Zoso did the look of Zeppelin but didn't have the sound down. Get The Led Out has the sound spot on but doesn't even bother with the look. The members of both of those bands would have to fuse together Dragonball style to get to what I think it would take to be a franchise of a band.
Australian Pink Floyd. CCR revisited. Elvis.
Not certain how many of these are licensed or franchised
Big thing is customer needs to know who they are seeing.
There cannot be too many. Schedules set not to conflict with the real deal and each other.
Apparently there were 2 or 3 Gallaghers (melon smashing comedian. Before carrot top) touring at one time. Became an issue when two these acts wanted to be nights in on same city same weekend.
Man or Astro man did this years ago. I don’t know how it turned out but I thought it was a great idea.
Noo! I will never accept a substitute for the real Darkness, at least not until you fall off your perch and I sincerely hope that is a very, very long way off. By then I'll probably be too old and senile to tell the difference anyway.
What about AI voice replacement in realtime (when this will become possible), to get any singers timbre? Would that be okay for a hypothetical franchise band?
Sign me up Justin, I'd love to front a The Darkness tribute, we'd be called The Dankness 😄🤟
Ghost = Franchise band with the set up multiple concerts synchronised. With different “eras” and “Papas” has Tobias been planning this all along?
