Have you seen the “Resist the lift” videos on CZcams?

Hi! Could you please share which engine you have? :) I'm not a car mechanic so can't really tell by looking at it.

Hey! Thanks for the watch, do appreciate the comments too!
re: the engine, this is the 1.9 “PD”
      - I think it’s known as the AXC OR AXB engine; unsure of the difference between those two but effectively a TDI 4 Cylinder Turbo Charged Diesel with common rail injectors.

@@retromechanic2238 if it's a PD than there is no common rail since the injectors create the high pressure individualy, thats where the name comes from pumpe-düse. Do you plan to clean those PDs? I'd be sure watching it. Kind of envy of you doing it yourself, I'm usually too lazy to get started, and only do interior or smaller jobs on the car myself. I have the 2.5 PD TDi T5 Multivan (from 2004 but looks mint :), but not long ago brought so I enjoy watching these videos, getting to know whats what and where on it. Also, I'm curois of the faulty pump of yours how you replace it. But I think it might be different on mine.

@@retromechanic2238 we had similar luck in our big tour at the first days, but in our case the CCV valve blown up and the turbo pipe got off, the later because of a slightly bigger ring than the factory one. But luckily this meant only 1 sleep near a car mechanic waiting for parts. But I had to call like 5 car services in the neighborhood where we were at in Austria, and it was a quick fix after we got the parts.

@@endruboy111 ahh blast! These things happen. I was gutted but we turned the breakdown into an opportunity and embraced the situation. May you have trouble free travels going forward 😀
