Great video. I’ve just done my first timing belt on the same engine, but in a VW Caddy. I had the same issue with the crank locking tool apparently not fitting but it actually fits perfectly (I found this out after a lot of googling!); the trick is to line the teeth up then slide it in flat across the width so they engage. I was 100% sure I had bought the wrong tool or it was poorly made until I tried this.
