Beautiful start with the *New Star Joy Gold's*. Colors look like they are laying down nicely. Hope to get mine before they sale out.
A beautiful experience watching you do this. Resulting in a beautiful lotus flower. I found your pointing out the undertones was particularly helpful. It reminded me of buying foundation at a makeup counter. I have had it pointed out to me that even though I have ivory skin, it has a yellow undertone . The lack of that look where the color melts into your skin. The pink undertone stood out . It would not blend . I also noticed that using the colors that did blend made the striation appear to naturally come from within the petals. I think I am starting to get this. Really loved seeing this .

I think they are going to be the most comprehensive and cohesive set of pencils out there, other pencil sets are going to find it hard to compete with these, there's no other set out there that I know of that goes this far.

Alice, It is there. You have to scroll to almost the very bottom. She lists the various products that she likes with a link to Amazon for them, then right below that she lists the colors for the Polychromos.
Stray-a-tion (spelling?) color? Help, I’ve never heard this word and I don’t know what it means (or how to spell it, obviously lol). Is it the little lines in the flower? English isn’t my first language but I’m pretty comfortable with it until I stumble on words like this one.
Striations are basically lines. Think of a muscle and how it is formed. The striations create texture.
