Oh my you have set the bar high for future pencil makers. This set up is just so good. And makes so much sense. Oh how we are gonna hate using our current sets which seem so random with numbering and ordering etc. I have the colour wheel you use, and hope to be able to get this set in NZ. Yes since just the other day USA announced they weren't sending to NZ any more because there was so little traffic (SOB) . I don't care how long I wait as long as they get here!

@Davina Penny Oh yes, and I just gave a young girl my red Kalours...she wants to be a graphic designer. She said her teacher would wet herself if she saw the Kalours, imagine the reaction to a set already sorted!!!! LOLOL. So I get my supplies where I can. And sometimes it's so hard (eg Klara Markova). BTW LOVE my Phoenixcolor!

I have Prismas, Polys, Castle Art and Marcos and a set of pastels. I did not want anymore pencils nor can I afford them. Lori, Lori, Lori….you are killing me. This is so helpful, Lori! As a beginner, I get overwhelmed with all my color choices so having three colors that blend together is what I need. I am looking forward to learning more about these pencils.
I just started coloring four months ago. I am an artist. But could never work colored pencils. When I picked up a pack of cheap pencils at Walmart I started to CZcams ... Before long I picked up the 72 prismas, then the 150.. things stared making sense but I thought I won't be able to keep up considering the price so I bought a few budget sets . Shuttle Art, Arteza, Zenacolors, Soucoler finally I figured let me try the Star Joy Gold. I am loving life today. My husband however looked at the bank account and put the brakes on . But time was on my side because I got that last order in right in the nick of time 😂😂😂. I appreciate this community today it has helped me. I am a recovering heroin addict and I'm now considering becoming an art therapist. In today's world it's needed . Thank you for all you do for fellow artists. This is a game changer. Be blessed . ❤

I’ve bought pencils, but I being picky about what I purchase. I’ve only bought one set of budget pencils since this announcement & that was the Star Joy Originals…had to grab them before they were discontinued.

I'M SO EXCITED!!! This set is marvelous, darling... I absolutely love everything about it... barrels are such perfection, with the easily read printing; the closet match between barrel paint and pencil core I've ever seen; the grouping of the colors Will make our choice of blends much easier for everyone! I'm imagining that other companies are going to sit up and take notice! Finally, a set done correctly.

I love that you have grouped the pencils into dark, medium and light and then numbered them sensibly so that they are easy to find and easy to put back. I also like the addition of the R or B etc. More like how paints are labelled.
They are very pretty pencils. The pastel shades look lovely and I like the addition of a straight 'red' or 'green'. It can be so hard to find a proper red. They are easy to read. I'm hoping to put them on my Christmas list when you sort out the European (UK) sales channel.

Lori this set of pencils is magnificent. There is nothing that you have not thought of and addressed. The system that you have come up with is going to free us from having to use pallets from printer printerest. We have color combos here that look as harmonious as those in nature. The colors are intense and a beautiful selection. You know your coloring system reminds me of learning the periodic table in prenursing chemistry, in how elegantly it is set up . My personal favorite feature is the jewel colors group. I love the purity of those colors. Thank you so very much for this ingenious set. A gift to all of us who love coloring. It has had a special meaning for me . I have been an emotional mess since having our dog Autumn put down this Friday . Seeing and hearing about the set has pulled me out of that for a little while.

Right off the bat i'm loving the thickness of the lead and the easy readability. Those first Star Joys I really struggled so much to read that silver writing and it was fading quickly too.

As a person with Parkison's I color for therapy. The original Star Joy color pencils have been very easy on my hands. Even when I'm stiff and shakey I can still color easy with Star Joy. I am really looking forward to this Gold edition. Coloring has saved my sanity when dealing with my mobility issues.
