You’re absolutely correct. They don’t have a bad song. There is not one song in their entire repertoire that I would skip. And I never get tired of listening to any of them.

Appreciate your reaction..Lovebites =Next level perfection. My view of Miyako is not the same as many reactors though.. Her subtle head movement during her solos, and especially her hands show the passion on guitar or piano more than a pained, or gleeful grimace that other musicians might use.. just my opinion
I assume that Miyako is just _focused_ . When Midori is focused, she can even show a _grim_ face. 😁 And yes: The way, Miyako plays her music, is showing her inner and honest connection with what she is playing.
I personally do not care at all about Miyako's face expression - as long as she continues to deliver the musical excellence I am used to get from her. 😉 From her personal channel videos, I know, that she is a kind and approachable young lady off stage, whom I like to support. And she is a musical _prodigy_ . That is all that matters to me. 😊

When you put one foot on the stand, the back becomes much easier. I think this is one of the reasons why they do this, because they have to be on their feet for more than two hours.

First song of the first set in front of a live audience in more than two years. You can see they were just a little hyped up for this.
It has some Slayer vibe but made with so much elegance, talent and power. Kerry King can retire because we have Miyako and Midori now haha. There is no band like this. These girls are bringing back that sound of classic heavy and thrash from the 80ies and power metal from the 90ies with some new and exciting flavour. You just gotta love it. So badass.

Having listened across their catalogue their style encompasses a swathe of genre and band influences.. They've crafted for themselves a melting pot of everything they wish to say in a form which embraces the souls of Anthrax, Slayer, Testament, Helloween, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple.. and deliver it all with excellent musicianship and camaraderie. They never cease to amaze.
This is my favorite love bites video and the guitarist miyako is my favorite and she liked my comment on her CZcams channel
This was the very first time in her life for Fami playing live in front of an audience. You can really see how much fun she had.

@@rainerzufall42 And she performed. like a seasoned pro, which shows how good she is, and shows that she was chosen by the rest of the band as the perfect replacement for Miho. This was her first experience with a crowd of such stature, that can't be denied, but she, as you know, has a little experience which I think helped. Thats just my opinion.

The Hammer Of Wrath" is one of their earliest works and appears on their first full-length album, AWAKENING FROM ABYSS. And along with "The Awakening," the first instrumental song on the same album, it is a song that fans are familiar with, having been used frequently in their openings and encores until 2020.
In fact, among their repertoire of about 60 songs, there are very few songs with solo parts for bass and drums, and it was chosen as the opening song for this revival concert partly because it was the first time FAMI performed it, and partly because it was suggested by a fan.

In addition to Slayer, you can probably throw in Testament and early Metallica as well. Or simply - thrash, the Lovebites way.
While I totally agree with what you're saying, when you look at it from just this song - Hammer of Wrath - the influence here is clearly ANTHRAX. You can take all of the ladies out of this song, replace them with the classic lineup of Anthrax, and it sounds like this would be the opening track off of Anthrax's Among the Living from 1986.
@@athlonen High praise for the ladies indeed if we start comparing their thrash tracks to "Among the Living". This is just a personal opinion - I rate "Among the Living" as the third best thrash album of all time after (1) "Master of Puppets" and (2) "Reign in Blood".

Break The Wall? Metallica (think the reverse composition of Master of Puppets) mixed with Testament and Slayer.
Holy War? Iron Maiden.
Judgement Day? Yngwie Malmsteen.
Set The World on Fire? Slayer and Metallica.
Stand and Deliver (Shoot 'em Down)? Motorhead.
It's all there, and while they can easily headline their own world tour, I wouldn't be surprised at all if Metallica asked them to open for their shows. They already did for Dragonforce, and Herman Li himself said that if they toured with LoveBites again, it would be Dragonforce opening for them.

"Clockwork" Lovebites serving Metalheads again. 😊🤘These priestesses of Happy Metal just are not _able_ to disappoint or to bore. 😊They shine a light by their joy of music, and by their musical excellence. 😊 And they always look like, "You know, this is no big deal, we do this all the time", Miyako even looking like bored, and they _smile kindly_ while going to the technical limits. But it is a _big_ deal they contribute.
To me, Lovebites are a world phenomenon. The fact, that they are not known better to the world of Metal, is incomprehensible to me. 🤷♂ A _travesty_ . Personally I think, that they should be able to tour all across the globe by now. 🐺

Try this: Onmyo-za (“gathering of yin and yang”) are a female-fronted Japanese metal band with a twin-guitar attack. Formed in 1999, by bassist/vocalist WATABI, the band wear ancient style of kimono. Lead vocalist Kuroneko (Black Cat) brings Enka-style vibrato to their songs. Haruna literally has all pedal's unto the metal. She is an incredible drummer. I wish she would do World clinic's honestly. She is Well beyond applied professor level. Her musicality of the cymbal's truly reminds me of Terry Bozzio's obscene body of percussion work. Pocket Nuke.

This is one of the best metal performances ever. And I say that because only Raise Some Hell and Frozen Serenade top this in my opinion.
I'm surprised you didn't mention Slayer in your "Break the Wall" reaction (did you?) because that song is the most Slayeresque IMO. You need to make a playlist for Lovebites reactions so I don't have to search for what you still "need" to react to. They are off the wall crazy good.

Honestly? I couldn’t watch a male rock band now. Too much strutting and posturing. Reaction channels put themselves at a disadvantage because they risk alienating viewers for whom another band is their entertainment of choice.

Fast BPM would be "Soldier Stands Solitarily". Heavy stuff for me would be the entire DEATH "Symbolic" album, and a lot of stuff Michael Romeo does. Lovebites gets plenty heavy too, but they don't go into "death metal" territory. Which is good, because I don't really need to hear Asami growling like a cookie monster! 😆

The former bassist Miho wrote this song after seeing Slayer. Only her and Mao could write such songs, now it's all gone, Miyako can only write speed songs. Btw you chose the wrong real metal-minded guitarist, Miyako, Asami and fami despite their huge talent, will never be matealheads, only Miho, Haruna and Midori are.
