miho said she was dealing with stuff on her personal life and she had been wanting to leave for a year or two, and the other girls said they tried to convince her to stay but finally could not. That's the only official stuff we have, other things you read is people's headcanon. She is doing well now, does support bass for her friends bands in Tokyo and looks happy.
fami was a very surprising election. Past year everyone was speculating who would be the new bassist and mostly girls in the scene were contemplated. fami was a very popular youtube bassist, doing mostly anime covers, with nearly 700.000 youtube subscribers, very young, she is still 20 and her channel peak was at 16 or 17 still in high school. So when she suddenly appeared in the reveal video most fans of the band didn't know who she was and the ones who knew her like me from other places went WTF is going on. But it is an excellent choice. She is extremely talented, and has brought joy and spirit to the band.

This was the first song I ever heard from Lovebites. It is so good to see the live performance of this. Awesome!
I do believe this was Fami's first live concert to be playing and I think I heard that her parents were there .
Yes, first weekend, second day (Sunday, March 12th, 2023). First live concert with LOVEBITES, before that, she's done some public performances, but not of this size!
That is right.
Asami-san is a phenomenal vocalist. She manages to project enormous power across an enormous range almost effortlessly. She can keep this level up for the whole show without any apparent ill effects. Her breath control is inhuman and she sings with genuine passion in every syllable of every word in every line of every song. Every time. She, and they, have no peers.
In this song, the gang chants are layered, just like you said. During the chorus, they are harmonizing. That would be different vocalist, singing different notes. This is one of their funner songs. You should watch the studio video when you get the chance. It's one of the few times you will ever see them in street clothes.
Live from the Abyss would be the other time. As for the piano, if I know my Lovebites bio, all of them play, or have played the piano in their youth. Miyako is a world class pianist and Asami plays life in certain songs.

"Our music is completed at the live performance". These were the words of Asami at another live performance.
This song was also one that they had written with the intention of having the audience sing along with them once the restrictions imposed by COVID were lifted and the audience was able to speak louder.
And when the staff informed them of the lifting of the restriction just before the start of the first day of the revival live concert, both the members and the audience were overjoyed.
Asami & Fami are not from heavy metal world．
But、they proof even if
they are not from metal side、they can play excellent heavy metal‼️．
They are on fire here !．
Playing piano is obligatory for respected musicians in Japan. So all of these Ladies play piano😎
They are all multi-instrumentalists!!!!! There are a couple of songs that Asami gets on the piano!!!!! Fami also plays piano and guitar!!!!!
I've run out of adjectives with these ladies. I loved the old bassist Miho, but Fami has breathed more energy into these ladies. They were awesome before, but Fam's energy and infectious personality has rubbed off on everyone.. They are obviously are so proud to showcase her. I love it with the no ego personalities they show. It's always who s turn it is to be mesmirizing.
I like the live version of this song having a Haruna drum solo to start it off. Don't see that everyday 🤘

Raise Some Hell's live performance (bassist Miho's era) is also great, where the members move around in a stage and get excited as one with the audience!
If you have fallen in love with Asami as a front lady (because she undoubtedly and obviously is _brilliant_ ): No big deal. Every Wolf in The Wolfpack has fallen in love with at least one of these priestesses of Metal, for what reasons ever. _My_ personal heroine is *Haruna* (whom I _adore_ for her _brilliant_ and mercyless drumming), and I would take a bullet for Miyako.
Haruna: She will keep any pace relentlessly, once given, and for the duration of any live show, no matter what. If an earthquake should happen: F*** the earthquake! 😂I bow before her for that. And I _love_ her happiness. Her heart surely is way bigger than any stadium they might perform in.

I think they all know how to play the piano. I don't know about Fami, but all the other members can play the piano. And from what I know, most musicians in Japan study piano!

All the ladies can play the piano/keyboard, but the others are not at the same virtuoso level as Miyako. Asami did play the piano on the stage for some songs in some concerts.
Check Fami channel and watch her do bass cover Alien Alien (viewed 10M++ more than Lovebites) she was 17 at that time....
Miyako seldom moving around due to her guitar paddle, she's using her guitar paddle a lot in every songs....
They can all play piano, Miyako and Asami actually do it in LOVEBITES songs. From the beginning in 2016/17, Miyako was stage right, and Midori was stage left. Sometimes in 2019 (I think, it was in France, in a small venue with little space for keyboard/piano), they've switched places. Since then, Midori is stage right and Miyako is stage left. Especially in this performance (and the one a day before), they temporarily walk around on stage and switch positions. But the well known start positions still apply!
I think they all play piano to some degree, but Miyako is on another level. As for Miho, she left on her own accord. None of the fan base knows exactly why, but there's this. Her father died in 2020 I believe, and covid, the restrictions that came with it...all had an effect. I see her making guest appearances with other bands, so she's not completly out of the loop. 😏♥️🎙🎸🎹🥁😎🤘

I have seen ASAMI on piano in which I believe MIYAKO has been teaching her parts, FAMI is also known to play and MIDORI which I never seen also started out as a pianist...

Yeah they melt brains every fucking time-this is the first release from night two of their comeback shows -i have night one since it´s release and watched it a gazillion times since and judging by this song also was played one the first one - it kinda blows it out of the water again! Asami is an absolute stage general and vocal beast and Fami is the most adorable killer on bass -definitely a total upgrade for them (not shitting on Myho by any means)! M&M need no further comments , i think the world knows by now that they are the bar that keeps on being raised by themselves every time and Haruna....oh Haruna - this woman should be taught in every drum lesson worldwide-check out LIAR from the first night -she gives an absolute percussion masterclass on that one! Enjoy your Lovebites Journey my friend - it´s gonna be epic as you probably know by now!!!
With this one seeing Fami sink her teeth into the lead in with this is awesome.. such a happy face, and I *LOVE* Asami for her passion.. she's such a little firecracker at the front of this.
There are several examples of Asami playing the piano in their videos, although she's no where near the skill level of Miyako. I could be wrong, but don't think the other members play piano. (Now I think about it, Fami may also play some.) The other reason Miyako doesn't move around too much is that she stays close to her pedal board. She has a huge pedal board, and she uses it all. She is always looking for the perfect sound for her guitar, and she uses the pedal board to get the exact sound sh wants.
Midori did play the piano from she the age of 2 to she was 20 and started playing guitar. If you look at does videos from the listening parties for Judgement Day album, you can see a keyboard behind her. Fami also plays the keyboard in some of her cover videos, but I'm not sure how skilled she are.
Today is the Day is the song to see if you want to see Asami play the piano.
Miyako also switches stage on Nameless Warrior at the same concert and in their early days they used to be on opposite sides then they are today.

They all learned to play the piano as little childs, Midori and Miyako started at age of 3. And they started with guitar quite late at age of 20 and 19. But Miyako is on concert pianist level, she calls the piano her first/main instrument and not the guitar. Midori doesn’t not play at this intense level anymore. Asami sometimes plays a few chords during live performances as well.
And i believe they all use the piano for write/compose new songs.

They sing beautiful harmonies in their songs „Empty Daydream“ and „Burden of time“
It's been a couple months but no one seem to have addressed this...
Guitarists have a set of effects pedals that they switch up and manipulate throughout songs.
The player is usually anchored to "their' spot by their effects and their chord.
Even if you have Bluetooth packs and can wander around, it has to be a song where they stick to one effect for awhile.
Miyako likes her wah pedal too from what I hear in the music (am old, am guitar player) so she probably doesn't wander often.

This concert was the first time that Sami played on such a big stage with such a big crowd.
This song absolutely rips. Been following this band for a couple years now. The skill these ladies display while ripping their instruments to shreds. Like another commenter said, "i can't find enough adjectives" to describe these ladies.

Miho left for personal reasons she also had a statement telling people to support Lovebites as there was no animosity between the band and her it was a personal choice to leave.
OK, I'm gonna just remind you to give another chance to Aldious and songs "Dominator" (live or MV version), or "Sweet Temptation". Also, "Bridear" wit an alder song "Light in the Dark". You could try (also) "Broken by the Scream" and for start song "Sayonara Birthday". Or maybe, "Unlucky Morpheus" with beautiful singer Fuki and their songs "Black Pentagram" live version, or "Dignity of Spirit" live version or "Angriefer" live version. They are fantastic in live! There are craptone of fantastic Japanese bands out there, and I like them all! Once in my life, when I was down and in depression I start to listen them (and I'm from Europe) and somethings happened that I get some new energy, so I'm always grateful to all of them!

Fun fact. During their first few live performances Midori''s and Miyako's stage positions were opposite of what they are now.
