It is amazing that Keane and Ferguson were part of such a success Manchester United side, but now won't talk to each other. Whereas Keane and Patrick Vieira were heated rivals but now they're happy to stand next together when they've been pundits.

The Rock of Gibraltar story caused some mess in the United dressing room as well. After than infamous Roy Keane interview on MUTV, Fergie criticised Keane for attacking his teammates. Keane suggested to let the players decide if he was wrong so Fergie called everyone including the staff to watch it together.
Van der Sar thought Keane was out of line so Keane attacked him. Van Nistelrooy took van der Sar's side so Keane attacked Van Nistelrooy before lashing out at Fergie saying "You brought your private life into the club with your argument with Magnier."
The argument continued for days before Fergie sold Keane.

@@5wheels178 To be fair to Keane only Van Der Saar who just joined the club thought Keane was in the wrong. I think most people say that Van Nistelrooy was just defending Van Der Saar (which is fair enough a guy has just joined the club and he's getting attacked by Roy Keane lmao!).
Gary Neville and Keane together in a talk with some Irish news thing said that the negativeness of the interview was pretty standard for games where United lost (no matter who the player reviewing the game was) and it was just unlucky that 1. Keane didn't play that game and 2. They picked him a game United lost.
This Irish news thing is on CZcams somewhere but I can't remember the name for the life of me.

How on earth can this footballer be called a footballing legend, when this man deliberately sets about breaking the leg of a fellow professional in revenge attack in a Manchester derby match? He is not a professional footballer, he is a thug and should have been banned for life to set an example. Not a very good role model for children wanting to play and know the game of football ⚽, with his thuggery on the field of play. Yes, I am for a footballer who tackles well, who wins the ball fairly and squarely. But for a professional footballer to admit he went to break his opponent's legs, is nothing more than a thug, and not a professional footballer! I hope he told the break truth about this in his autobiography?! LORD have mercy!!!
