    So question, been thinking about doing this to a future build. Do you have both servos on a y connect or are they in separate channels that was then programmed into your receiver? I figured front servo would be plugged into the servo spot and the rear plugged into a ch3? I would like to use a spectrum set up Ive just never tried this steering mesh before. Thanks for the help!

    • @2fmrc
      @2fmrc  Před 3 lety +2

      On the fsgt5 that I’m running you just run the 2nd servo on channel 3. I think that’s how most of them work cause if they are tied together on a y connector it’ll just do whatever the other servo is doing all the time.

With some tx you can set it up to switch modes, front only, ft & rear steer. rear steer only or crab steer, with a button on the tx others you have to go into menu to do the switching. Much easier using the button but both ways work well. None of my SCX24's have 4 wheel steer but both my Readcat Super Crawler (1/8 scale) & my Sumo (1/24) have 4 wheel steer. Can come in handy, but also can get you into trouble. It's a tool & you have to learn when to use it & which mode.
