What wheels and rings? Good idea on the flat ABS. Looks clean.
Those are Treal Type B wheels with Mazz Designs beadlock rings. I have used this setup on most of my trx4m builds. Tires are LGRP Swamp kings .

I used to be very much into custom RC Builds, Long story short I got into a terrible wreck… It affected my memory a good bit from blunt force trauma, so after this I LOST all Interest and motivation in my LARGE collection of RC crawlers so kind of am having to relearn quite a bit that I already knew…
Anyway,
I wanted to ask a small few important questions 🙋♂️ I am trying to re-engaged my self into the hobby.
So decided to start small and turns out I’m building basically your rigs twin 😅.
1. Mounting all electronics,
may I ask what did you use to build the cool ABS plastic tray you mounted to would like to pick same… Looks (VERY clean) and what velcro you using/recommend ? I’ve always used double sided tape but love your idea about removing cleaning etc…
2. I’m using the Meus Isokinetic axles and Meus Driveshafts will these function okay with Injora overdrive 12/22 stock rear gears…if kept as just front steer only.
3.IF/when I change to 4WS (Already got all the parts) what size/Width chasis braces are you using for cross braces?
4. I went with the Furitek TRX4M Stellar Transmission and also picked up Python Pro & cedar motor is there any special gears needed in the furitek trans 😅?
5. I see that your using a huge 3s battery 🔋 what do you ideally recommend simply for size purposes that very battery Ovionics 3s 750mah?
6. What Brand & width are using for shock spacing away from frame? I can’t seem to get the right size…🤷♂️

Ok, I'll try to hit everything., lol
1, I made my own electronics bay buy just taking measurements and cutting it out of 1/8th abs. I mounted it useingthetwo screw holesthatare normally used for a battery tray.
2, all of that works fine and there are no issues using the Injora diff gears
3, 30mm or 35mm m2.5 threads.
4, it's up to you on transmission gears, you canbuyctawler gears on up to speed gears, Injora and Meus gears will fit.
5, I just converted to 650mah 3s battery's and they give you a lot more room.
6. I buy m3 aluminum spacers that are 3mm and 6mm thick. I buy them on Amazon for black or silver but if you want colors you will need to buy from AliExpress.

The torque roll is from the portals a lot of people have been saying that they gotten a lot more or gotten it back on their trucks after adding the Treal portals
Yeah, makes since. I forgot I even had them. I will compare them to the next ripper in a few weeks. I'll be running Meus portals on that one.
@@pissedrhino have you gotten the meus portals already? If so please make a review asap on them because I really can’t make up my mind on witch ones to go with and I think I’m leaning more towards meus but want to hear about the quality of them firsts

Evening! Been watching your vids. I’m looking to do 4ws on my rig as well. Can you buy steer axles by themselves? Without the rear axle?
Yes you can. Bothtreal and Meus let you buy them individually.
Injora axles, Are good. They have the new version diamond plate silver or black complete set. F/R axles.
What transmitter your running with? Any advice with the avatar tx ws version.
@luiscolon8635 In my opinion, the avatar is a junk radio, I would stick with the stock radio over that one. I use radiolink transmitters and receivers. Currently, I run an rc8x controller, and I use 4, 6, and 8 channel receivers considering the build. Radiolink also has a great controller for $79 on Amazon.
@luiscolon8635 at the time of this video they were junk and way behind the competition. But. My Nicholas Cage build has injora axles and now my Buddy Build has the Dimond axles in it. Nice video like always. What material did u cut to create the electronic tray. Also what radio are u running. I know in the other videos u ended up with a 6 ch. can u get away with 4ch if u just turn light on and off.
I used a sheet of ABS from Amazon to make the tray. When I was in college I did car audio installs and used sheets of ABS there.
I am using a Radiolink RC8x transmitter. It is an 8 channel transmitter and I use the 6 channel and 4 channel receivers in my builds. On my ripper chassis I usually go with the 6 channel because I have headlights and a light bar. Those two with 4 wheel steering take up 5 channels. If you are not running 4 wheel steer or just one light the 4 channel micro receivers work great.

It looks like I ordered them off eBay but Amazon has some too. Many different styles. Here is how I searched. You need the width and screw size you want to use.
