      Yeah I’ve seen a lot of people say that. I honestly don’t even run this truck yet. I planned to swap the motor cause I never even run the stock normally lol. I’m gonna do some temp checks on it while running the new overdrive gears so maybe I’ll check with and without the sticker also! I’ve also put small heat sinks off of a raspberry pi on them and it helps. Or just stick a magnet on them lol

      @@2fmrc my two kids and I have them. One is 10 years old and the other six. My 10-year-old is really into upgrading and modifying. It’s been 20 years since I had been into RC cars. I was really into nitro trucks and 1/8 scale buggies. I lost my site about 15 years ago and couldn’t drive my RC cars until I came across crawlers. Now I can drive them with the kids so it’s pretty awesome. I’ve modified my truck a ton. Honestly I am way more interested in the dig that you set up. I might pick your brain more about that because that something I think I want to do eventually. Not really sure exactly how you did it but I would be interested in a detailed video on that.

    I learned something today, didn’t know about the 4wd controller for the SCX24. I bought the C10 because I used to have a 1:1. Then bought a deadbolt & recently bought the Jeep. They are all modded just a little different except for the Jeep which is stock except for the servo & high clearance links. I think my favorite is the one that I’m driving at the time. My least favorite right now is the C10, I don’t like the shock I have on it. I drive the Jeep more but that might be because it’s the newest. Hey man, Y link Fab from existing links. I did this for my front setup of the longest links in the scx24 for long wb and will be doing the same when i mount the new steer axle in the rear. I found the best way and Most stable is to mount the rear upper links inside the double sheer bracket as they were intended to be on the mount. Must remove the ball joints from the rod ends, then sand the ends to come together like a Y then glue them together, is plenty strong glued, then use a small piece of silicone wire insulation that fits the screw tightly as the new joint mod removes all the slop. I have done this wire insulation mod to replace all those Sloppy ball inserts on the whole rig, way smoother action.
    And for the rear steer action, i switched out the 3 way switch on the radio with a self centering thumb dial, i mounted in a more convenient location i can hit with my thumb when let go it centers automatically making it way Faster and user friendly than that setup you described. Could also use a self centering toggle for the rear steer to get faster full throw, just like full size monster trucks use a toggle.

I got a clear body and did a tamiya cooper color on it and did the black chrome look as well. Plus the inner fender setup and white wagon wheels 5+mm GPM shafts and weights and shocks and links and pretty much everything i could to it. Its a amazing looking rig and can crawl or trail outdoors like a 10th scale rig. And i setup a real rock indoors course as well and it just does what i ask it to do. • @ConditionZero76
    @ConditionZero76 Před 2 lety

    Did you try to unplug the front servo when adjusting the rear & vice versa. also you can drop that goofy servo saver it takes mere seconds to remove it then remove the attachment underneath with pliers etc now your left with a standard servo head in which you can fit a normal servo arm, that or like you said just pick up an Eco power or Emaxx servo.. 👍🏼

    • @2fmrc
      @2fmrc  Před 2 lety

      Reefs 99 or agfrc all the way! The mofo black label is a really good servo also. I never run the stock setup. Just used it here for instruction cause most people will probably upgrade their front and move it to the rear. There is just no trim for the rear with the stock transmitter so no matter what you’re always off just a hair cause the splines never line up perfectly.
