    LOVE FRANK ZANE’S comments on bodybuilding, winning strategies and healthy living. Man, I hate it when the famous talk spirituality. I had a good laugh when I saw Frank in another video noting how he would ”pray to the universe” for help. Obviously, Zane struggles with the august reality of a personal God, but not a personal universe! The universe is just a meaningless material void incapable of helping anyone. As Frank watched for signs and omens, that was God communicating truth to Zane in the impersonal way that Frank could handle. Frank will probably never be ready for a personal God who makes demands on him. His rigidity is typical of the self-help types who achieve a certain amount of material or athletic success but never find the one thing they were created for. And helping others, also falls short. 3X Mr Olympia...similtaneously, spiritual toddler. Whether one is ready or not, God informs you, early on, that it isn't just about you and your ”thing”. And if you aren't ready for that, you get passed over. Jesus forces everyone to chose, for or against, and there's nothing in the middle. The mantras are laughable, and a poor substitute for an acquired kinship and personal relationship with the mighty God. That avenue however is open only to the humble.

The bodybuilders today great as they are and wonderful bodies. Well , It's alittle too much to the average guy. Zane is of course above average and a head Turner too. Most of the guys want to have a body like his body. Also it is probably the healthier way to live a regular life. My hat's off to Phil Heath and Brandon Curry too. Amazing bodybuilders.. 3 54 Gate Gate Paragate Parasamgate Bodhi Svaha is not from the Diamond Sutra but Heart Sutra. The Maha
    Prajna Paramita Hrdaya Sutra
    Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva
    when practicing deeply the Prajna Paramita
    perceives that all five skandhas are empty
    and is saved from all suffering and distress.
    Shariputra,
    form does not differ from emptiness,
    emptiness does not differ from form.
    That which is form is emptiness,
    that which is emptiness form.
    The same is true of feelings,
    perceptions, impulses, consciousness.
    Shariputra,
    all dharmas are marked with emptiness;
    they do not appear or disappear,
    are not tainted or pure,
    do not increase or decrease.
    Therefore, in emptiness no form, no feelings,
    perceptions, impulses, consciousness.
    No eyes, no ears, no nose, no tongue, no body, no mind;
    no color, no sound, no smell, no taste, no touch,
    no object of mind;
    no realm of eyes
    and so forth until no realm of mind consciousness.
    11
    No ignorance and also no extinction of it,
    and so forth until no old age and death
    and also no extinction of them.
    No suffering, no origination,
    no stopping, no path, no cognition,
    also no attainment with nothing to attain.
    The Bodhisattva depends on Prajna Paramita
    and the mind is no hindrance;
    without any hindrance no fears exist.
    Far apart from every perverted view one dwells in Nirvana.
    In the three worlds
    all Buddhas depend on Prajna Paramita
    and attain Anuttara Samyak Sambodhi.
    Therefore, know that Prajna Paramita
    is the great transcendent mantra
    is the great bright mantra,
    is the utmost mantra,
    is the supreme mantra,
    which is able to relieve all suffering
    and is true, not false.
    So proclaim the Prajna Paramita mantra,
    proclaim the mantra which says:
    gate, gate, paragate, parasamgate, bodhi svaha
    gate, gate, paragate, parasamgate, bodhi svaha
    gate, gate, paragate, parasamgate, bodhi svaha

    I'm not sure what 77 years old is supposed to look like, but to me he now looks like any typical 77 year old - one's who've never lifted a weight or taken a steroid. So you have to assume that he doesn't take steroids anymore, but took plenty when he was younger of course. My guess is that as one gets older, you become more afraid of death, and try to do everything you can trying to hang on to what little life you have left - basically not taking steroids because either your cardiovascular system is pretty hosed already, or your prostate has exploded or soon will, either due to the earlier steroid use, or just old age in general. So, would it make more sense for men to avoid steroids at a younger age, and start taking steroids, hgh, hcg, steroids, etc., at 60+ years old and beyond to try to maintain the look and vitality you had prior to that age? Or will you just have a stroke and die from it cuz your old body can't handle it?! I mean, all men are primarily going to either die from cardiovascular disease or prostate cancer in their old age.

      It's one thing to take steroids as a therapy and another thing to use it for sport.

      @Gary Snow Is 58 too young? I'm just thinking out loud since I wonder these things for myself as I age, and yes I've done some low dose cycles. One certainly does not think the same at 20 as they do later on. One has to weigh the pro's and con's of trt/steroids/whatever you want to call it, as it may improve quality of life, but it might shorten the quantity due to what it may do to the prostate and cardiovascular - nobody knows for sure. But ask a urologist if they'd take em. Few users mention their PSA scores before, during, after usage. You are likely too young to have even thought about the prostate, PSA scores, prostate biopsies, prostate cancer, BPH, family history, etc. It will get real for you soon enough, steroids or not. As far as Frank, he reminds me a lot of Clint Eastwood in The Mule, and he's 89! And I love his line in the movie, "The only person that wants to live to 100 is a 99 year old!"
