the jump is because some people think that jumping moves faster than running the same distance so the guys try to move faster by constantly jumping. and about the vault, the duggans(the owners of the casino) use it as their personal bank and also stores the casino store goods, the chips are on the bags on the little safes that have the red lights, also the goods you get on the vault are sold to a buyer who was contacted before starting the heist and the value of the good depends on what buyer was choosen.
Yeah, I think Lester also mentions that the reason they have artwork is so they can hold their assets without getting taxed for them? but I'm not sure

Gas Mask Shawn Meaning they could probably make an exception. Larry is not a criminal - he was, but he isn’t anymore. His job is telling people not to do it, he’s an honorary cop, his book is a reflection on the crimes he’s committed and how he’s changed. I think bringing him on as a consultant for Payday 3 or Grand Theft Auto V’s super-duper-enhanced version would be a spectacular move on the part of OVERKILL or Rockstar.
The thing with Lester is that he is a brilliant tactician and he been planning heists for lord knows how many years. At the very least for ten years, all of them were successful. He is very observant and makes note of the tiniest details that his heist crew can exploit. Its due to this its why all the main characters go through him when it comes to planning a score.
Unfortunately Lester has a wasting disease which is why he needs a cane to get around but what he lacks in body strength his mind makes up for it. He has a high amount of respect in the crew. He does not even take that large of a cut from every heist. He usually takes about 100k while the others walk away with much more than that.
His skills for planning are so great the IAA came to him for help to save the world in the Doomsday Heists and its for this same reason why the Triad reached out to Lester to plan a heist on the casino.
Larry is better than any fictional character tho.

The reason they're jumping is because when they were running through the tunnel, their running speed is limited and jumping slightly increases their speed.

The vault contents differ always, from artwork, to cash, to gold bricks, to diamonds. There are also safe boxes that can be drilled to get some bags of cash, usually around an extra $1000 to $10000

The EMP is activated on the way out so you make it trough all the way to exit easy, you can get in the vault easily without needing the EMP. Also, their way of taking out people was bad honestly, too many missed shots.

Larry, I work in a casino and I am going to tell you now, one of the staff entrances does have a full metal detector security checkpoint on the way in. That is a thing. Only one though, and it is the entrance right next to the money room.
And the jumping is an exploit in the game to increase your running speed for a second or two after you land. Honestly though, unless you have frame-perfect timing on your jumps, it's faster just to run.

To give you an idea on why some stuff happened: the artwork was there because each time you rob the place, it can be something different. It is assumed they are famous paintings being stored for safe keeping. There actually was a getaway car but they did not go to it and they also never bought a replacement vehicle to swap to. 2.4 mil in the game is a LOT, so while not much to a real life job, it is a lot ingame. Lastly, that was supposed to be sneakier but they got caught on the way out.
Uhh they totally could’ve gotten way more money, they didn’t even drill the boxes for cash when u totally should have time to do that for artwork. Also didn’t they start shooting straight outta the vault, like bruh
I get paintings and artwork get you more but I honestly think they should’ve gone for cash/money it just seems right up Larry’s ally when it comes to that type of stuff of course.

2.5 mil ain't shit in gta dude. Tbh this was a bad heist. On hard you can easily get 2.7 million with Artwork with 2 people. These dudes just stood around while one person did something. 2 people can empty that vault faster then these 4 did
