      Ryan Pearceman It's only true communism if it follows the manifesto, or at least loosely. The closest thing you can use as an argument is the Leninist era, but if you're really that stupid I suggest reading "The Revolution Betrayed". Or at least 10 pages of it, that should be more than a coherent enough argument against your statement.

    • @KC_Streams
      @KC_Streams Před 2 lety

      This is wrong. He expressed one slightly homophobic sentiment before he even became communist (he described an individual gay person as a "sexual pervert") and then never said anything homophobic again. That hardly makes him a "well known homophobe". It implies he may have been a bit of a homophobe at one point. Anti-che propagandists have simply extrapolated from this one quote an entirely fabricated rabid homophobia that there is no evidence for.
      And Che didn't murder prisoners. Everybody Che killed was either a traitor or a war criminal. Within most military structures the punishment for either of those two things is death. Che "murdered prisoners" insofar as any competent general could be accused of doing the same. The main thing to Che's credit is that he did the dirty work himself, which in my book makes him far more honourable than a military commander who passes the sentence and then has others do the killing

    The biggest thing wrong with it from my perspective is the atheism.
    I am from Bosnia, former yugoslavia where there was a communist regime, probably the best example of communism in the world because it wasnt connected to anyone either the russians or the west.
    But it was still shit it was a very mild dictatorship, as long as you pretend the regime is perfect, you are going to be fine.

      muhammed jahja I feel that a mild social democracy is much better as long as the government checks their budget and helps create strong industries.
      Communism was an extreme solution to an extreme problem, back in the day where children were forced to work long hours under the earth or in a cotton factory. I'm not sure if Marx could've predicted the power of unions and health and safety laws today.
