- From the early XFM radio show: After noting that Karl was disappointed by his GCSE results (single E Grade in History), Ricky set about giving him some history homework for the next radio show. Karl would focus on one topic and then recount a summary of his learning at the next show.
Ricky also offered to pay for Karl to sit History again, an offer which wasn't taken up.

It is funny how people complain or write in about such weird stuff. I remember years back when Dot was arrested on eastenders (a uk Soap show). Anyway people wrote to the BBC, seriously too, demanding the actresses real Name and person was freed immrdiatly because of her age etc. They wrote as if she was actually arrested for real lol. I mean who are these people to believe that! I guess many went on to listen to xfm though lol

Not sure where you're from but Churchill was a much loved leader and still enjoys a lot of admiration from a lot of British people, many of whom don't know that much about his life or politics etc. For example, he was against giving women the right to vote, said racist stuff etc.
And yes, I'm British.
