Headphones can be a very good item on Okayu, since its shockwaves can crit and activate her Sensitive Voice skill. The shockwaves from the Headphones count as ranged attacks, so they are affected by Focus Shades.
Okayu’s Sensitive Voice skill and special allows her to defeat enemies that are immune to regular damage, such as the ones that tend to appear near the end of hard mode Stages. Since the Yagoos that start spawning past 30 minutes count as mini-bosses, they are immune to Okayu’s Sensitive Voice skill and special. Eating a Charmed enemy has the same “MOGU!” message as her special and you can see Okayu eating a Charmed Soratomo at about 21:47.
Charmed enemies are usually purplish, but can appear more reddish if the enemy is originally yellow, orange, or brown. Enemies that have the damage over time effect from Focus shades appear reddish or even a bit orangish. Effects that color the enemies often visually fight with each other and can result in the enemies not having either of the effect colors, even if the enemy has both effects. Due to this, it can be difficult to tell which effects are or are not on certain enemies. 23:05 those enemies are most likely affected by the damage over time from Focus Shades. Some Charmed enemies can be seen at 14:31 (Onigiryaa), 15:51 (Hooman), 17:29 (Merakyat and 35p), and 16:17 (Soratomo).

Great point with headphones! Would work well for once the training wheels are off with plushie.
Very glad to hear sensitive voice proc's share that mogu messaging! Between that and the colourings of the aura though, I do feel some adjustments need to be made visually with that skill; maybe if even just the mogu text was a touch bigger or more animated or something, like a slow flash with a yellow glow? And simply changing either focus shades' or charm's aura to a global blue or green would solve that mixup overnight. Or some other colour theory choice instead, to help with colourblindness - I dunno the science behind it. Thanks for watching!

Small gripe: Nekomata is actually her family name. It’s fairly inconsistent which HoloMems use American or Japanese name order, but for Okayu, it’s Japanese order.
Also, the red aura is from the Focus Shades.

To clarify, I was referring to "common" in reference to Nekomata because it's the generic title for any cat spirit in Japan. Thanks for watching!
