For Iofi's main weapon, the extra damage from Anvil boosts and the Growth upgrade is divided by the number of brush swipes (3 at level 5 and above), but only for the brush swipes themselves and the Bomb Stamp. The paint left on the ground from her Awakened main weapon is unaffected by Anvil boosts, but it is affected by the Growth upgrade and the damage is not divided. The paint left on the ground from both her main weapon and her special scale very well with the Growth upgrade. The paint left on the ground from the main weapon does not activate most secondary effects. The brush swipes from her main weapon count as melee, while the dropped paint counts as ranged. The dropped paint is unaffected by the Size Up Stamp, but it is affected by Knightly Milk.
Iofi's Erofi skill can provide a very good amount of healing and it pairs well with Full Meal, she can even gain hp by running through crowds. The healing from Erofi can occur even from attacks that do zero damage.
The paint from Iofi's special counts as ranged attacks. Iofi's special freezes enemies and even the in-game timer. However, certain timers and actions can still happen during her special, including the healing from items such as Just Bandage, the special cooldown itself, and some attacks that linger. Iofi is immune to damage during her special, but she can still die from the accumulated damage of Plushie. Her special has a cooldown time of 60 seconds and it can be reduced to 27 seconds with the level 5 Idol Costume and the level 5 Special Cooldown Reduction upgrade. Her special can last up to 20 seconds, which means you can reduce the down time between her specials to just 7 seconds and she is immune to damage for about 3 seconds after her special ends. Iofi can become immortal with the Super Idol Costume and Vegetable Soup.

Tank? She got you homie. This allows her to become a holomem akin to a 0.4 Sora, just a bit weaker.
DPS? Yep. AOE Bursts can wipe the screen just in time for her paint to dry.
Spec Buster? Heck yes. PPM can raise her Special Damage ratios to the moon.
Iofi's kit really does leave the approach as being dealer's choice. Such a versatile style!
