I have a first generation RPR in 6.5creedmoor. It got run over by a vehicle and stuff got bent. I was honest and sent it in for inspection and repairs. They replaced multiple parts and not a single dime was spent out of my own pocket, including shipping. It was my only experience in working with Ruger, but they went well above and beyond what was necessary.

Very cool, awesome they were able to get you taken care of hassle free! I actually cant think of any major firearm company that I've worked with that didn't provide awesome customer service. It's great knowing support is always there if you need it.

Same here with an sr22 pistol that had light hammer strikes and feeding issues with the magazines after i brought it home from academy sports. Ruger paid shipping and replaced almost the whole gun! Since then it has never failed hundreds of rounds later and did not cost a dime and only took maybe week and a half-two weeks! Ruger for the win!!!!

I had a mirror polished (almost flawless) vaquero that I sent in to get the barrel properly clocked. They sent it back after it looked like they took a buffing wheel to it with the coarsest compound they had. Totally ruined a finish that I spent literally dozens of hours achieving. I will never send anything in to them again and will probably not buy from them either, since I am self imposing a ban on warranty work.

Great shooting my man. Those rifles are sweet. I have the rpr in 300wm and I’ve taken it out to a mile with 220g bergers and H1000. I have a Leupold mark 5hd 7-35x56 set in an F3R machine mount with and an accutac Sr5 bipod with the arca mount. It shoots great and I love it. I have around 5k in this rifle and I can’t imagine spending more to get the mrad and only getting the gun. The mrad is sweet for sure but Its out of my price range and I don’t have a need for a multi caliber rig. Dude I just discovered this channel. Great job brother. This is amazing content. It’s awesome to see people use super high quality rifles and optics but also having the skill to take the rifle out to its potential. I get so sick of seeing guntubers show off all the Gucci gear and make videos swearing how great it is but never showing what it’s capable of. Probably because they should be practicing not buying more expensive crap. Love this. Also the scenery reminds me a lot of home, and I’m home sick after the move to florida in April so that’s a nice touch to see someone shooting outdoors and not at a range. Colorado was amazing for shooting

Enjoy the video. Got the following wishlist. I’d like to get perspective on your long range target. That would set you apart from similar shooters. You could do this with a shot through a zoom scope showing your base and then zoom in to your target or maybe do a sped up cam shot on your quad as you drive up to the target.
Second is I’d love a shot looking through scope occasionally so we can see your reticle on target and 25:10 how you make adjustments on the fly. This might take more gear than is practical but tossing it out there.

    Suggestion for your channel:
Setup: Set up two separate targets 90 degrees from each other from your setup location. Whichever way the wind is blowing, shoot at target that is the most downwind and least crosswind. Reduces variables.
May require multiple cameras. So what?
Also: For speed, get nice, big, 4X8 sheets of plywood to shoot at that you can set up on well-anchored tripod-like anchors. It will help you immediately quantify changes in MOA needed. 1/4" plywood is fine. You'll see the holes with the big scopes. You can even shine an extremely bright LED floodlight at the back of the target to show through the hole when penetrated, and use dark targets.
Also, a test on a truly massive high-magnification rifle scope. We ain't talking about CQB here, after all.

Since I have an RPR, I'm a big fan of the rifle and don't feel it gives up much, if anything to similar rifles costing multiples of the RPR. From visually watching your shooting, it appears that the muzzle brake on the RPR is more effective recoil reduction and insuring that the recoil is straight back. The MRAD, in your video, has a fairly clear tendency to want the barrel to lift up on the shot, and watching you/the rifle movement, the recoil visually appears a bit sharper/stronger than that of the RPR. A better brake might bring the MRAD under better control, IMO. YMMV.
I can't speak for the MRAD, but the Magpul PRS gen 3 rear stock is much more stable and its weight improves the balance of the rifle noticeably. The butt stock adjustment and tendency to move on its own is well established. I'm running the same scope on my RPR as you do and when I do my part, and a Timney trigger at 1# pull. When I do my part, I can post a 10 rd 100 yd group that is covered by a quarter. The extra features of the MRAD vs the RPR are sort of "look what I can do" but not a necessity. For that little gee whiz fluff, a person pays triple the cost of the RPR. That would certainly pay for two completely tricked out RPRs including after market barrels, vs one MRAD. Not a bargain, IMO. YMMV.

I traded my mrad in to buy stuff for my daughter and ended up buying a RPR with the rest. I bought it in 6.5 creedmoor and later I ended up buying another in 338 lapua.
