About 6 years ago I was asked to write for a porn production company, I was then asked for a trial of my writing and was prompted a narrative and asked to script it. I finished it and emailed it to them. About a week later a received a letter back saying "Thank you for you submission, we really enjoyed the narrative and the story you have created however the problem we found was that we got more into the narrative and completely lost interest in the porn. Unfortunately this is not the direction we are going. Great work though!"... So yeah I think it would be great to have a channel to talk about the plots...I think we need this...And MRX and Susu, would be the perfect combination for this!
When I was in high school, my best friend and I made fun of all the girls who swooned over the Titanic movie. One day, he came to class looking guilty. I asked what's up and he said he watched Titanic and he also cried. I said, "What??" He said, "I cried when she put her clothes back on."
Here's my thing with Margot Robbie being snubbed for "Barbie". Everyone talks about the irony of that ommission, and how she totally should've been recognized. I don't see many people, however, talking about WHO she should've replaced in the best actress line up.
By most accounts, the race was between the eventual winner, Emma Stone for "Poor Things", and Lily Gladstone for "Killers of the Flower Moon". Stone has gotten some shit since her win, but up until the ceremony both her and Gladstone were almost universally praised. That leaves Carey Mulligan in "Maestro", Annette Bening in "Nyad" and Sandra Huller in "Anatomy of a Fall". The first two were netflix releases, therefore many people who could've seen "Barbie" also could've seen their performances. And even when people didn't like their films that much, they seemed to like Mulligan and Bening. Out of the five, Huller was likely the one who pushed Robbie out, given that she's the least known to American audiences, and has mostly appeared in European language films. It definitely helped her that "Anatomy of a Fall" was highly praised across the board, and also recieved nods for director and picture, with Huller getting similarily glowing reviews for her work.
So again, if your one of the people who thinks Robbie should've been nominated, then I ask who you'd swap out. Talking about that would generate some interesting discussions, I think.
i find it so funny when people get mad over Ryan gosling getting the award and not Margot Robbie even though there are separate categories for men and women 🤣

My guess is maybe only a few people have the right/power to start a nomination process for someone... And maybe each person is limited to nominating one person... Which maybe the limiting factor here...
Emma Stone only won because she finally got naked...in what is quite possibly the most disturbing movie ever made. An Infant from a botched abortion in an Adult Woman's Body becoming a sex addict.
I'd not only swap out Emma Stone, I'd want everyone involved in that movie investigated because that was disturbing...and Emma Stone Naked was disappointing regardless.

Rieko and three accomplices spammed threads trying to convince, blackmail, lonely men to do hrt, get sex changes, or become femboys and then would recruit them into Reiko's discord server before also blackmailing them into giving him thigh pics with Reiko's name on them

it seems that it was kinda the other way around, making it way worse. They got the guys to send them the photos, often somewhat exposing, and then aquired their personal information. With that they would blackmail those guys into taking hrt

the joke is that many of those countries USED to be one country called Yugoslavia. they had a massive civil way between Muslims an non-Muslims. there are many that claim that each side was the one that started the wars. the UN has to eventually step in and in the end the country was split into smaller countries.

Regarding the "too many countries merger" meme bit, that was a reference to what was Yugoslavia which was the majority of land mass of those countries merged together in the past. Multiple Balkan wars in the region from the '70's through the end of the 1990's created the country borders we see today. There are continued ethnic and political tension in the region and the US as well as a UN coalition of various national military forces have a continued presence there as part of the peacekeeping and de-mining operations for the region.
The latest one was the worst war in Europe since WWII, and current situation is closer to a cease fire than actual peace.

Ah shutting down the digital order devices. Classic, You know, most machines that have a special program on them, is either as windows machine or a very specific version of linux.
As a kid I was given a small handheld device that "only" had a scheduling program on it that started on boot-up. So that I could keep track of my time. I don't have a sense of time passing.
However it took me less than a day to figure out that I could shut that program down, and play games on the device instead...

The map with the countries that should be merged are the old Yugoslavia.
It was a mess of classing cultures. Then the Germans went in for a some genocide, followed by the USSR for more. It was successful for a period of time under one leader. But after his death, it slowly broke up into smaller countries we see here today. There is still contention over which are actual countries separate from other ones in the area. I think most consider this the map as of 2003ish.
