- Hi dear friends, here's another update of my U.S.S. Voyager NCC-74656 and yes i know its again a very long video. I'm gradually incorporating all the interior sets I've built over the past few years into my latest Voyager mesh, and it's quite time-consuming. You can check out my Artstation for more information.
Here is the changelog from the last update

added new Voyager hull textures,
added much more decals to the hull,
added more interiour objects,
added a planet to the scene (big thanx to Dave for the planet),
added animations to the warp nacelles

For those new to this channel, I've been working on this game since 2013. Once it's completed, I'll officially apply for a license. In the past, I've been fortunate to contribute to official Star Trek projects, and I'm very grateful for those opportunities. This game, which I've dedicated 10 years to, is a personal project that I'm extremely passionate about. My love for Star Trek and Voyager is evident in every aspect. Currently, there's no playable demo available as I haven't released anything yet. I won't release anything until I receive approval from CBS. Once the project reaches a state that I believe is worthy, I'll contact CBS and apply for a license. This project is truly exhausting, demanding a significant amount of time and energy. However, I'm pursuing it because it brings me joy, and I love every moment of working on it. I hope it brings you joy as well. Thank you for your patience, and I hope you enjoy my artwork.
I wish you Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays

Enjoy the little detail of adding the 3 seashells.
5:51 It is the greatest mystery in Sci-fi…😂
How do you use the three seashells.
(Demolition Man)
@@darkguardian1314Hahaha! He doesn’t know how to use the three sea shells! Hahaha!
Vapor genetically modified oysters that would suck your butt clean
@@moabswashpot9002 no way those people were hyper sanitarium
@@darkguardian1314 yep
Just imagine. An mmo simulation where people can crew detailed ships like this to explore the Star Trek universe. This is what STO should have been.
thx :)
Check out Starship Simulator. It will be like that!
I was just gonna say that. It's exactly that.@@cedricberger1139
That would need a ton of time and resources that STO didn't have in 2010 in order to match, at least now most ships or at least ones with show counterparts are getting human sized ceilings rather then have these cavernous expanses that seem to make you tiny in comparison to the ship you captain. But it indeed would be most fun to just roleplay your own adventures on amazingly recreated ships from the show both Federation and those of other factions. I adore Romulan Republic interiors especially their engineering deck, there is that one mission that even shows the armory of the RRW Lleiset which is amazing not to mention it's different aesthetic on top of the general interior.
The design of Voyager interior and exterior is timeless.
To me it is still the most modern ship in the fleet, and the Orville clearly got design cues there.
I can't believe you even got Neelix's ship in there. Little details like that put this right over the top for me. Absolutely incredible work.
Now we know where that ship was tucked away, all these yeas. LOL ;)
So here's the thing... I could have SWORN we did see the Baxial leave from this or some other hidden bay door that wasn't the main shuttle bay at some point... But I have tried looking for it and have not found it so I am starting to think I maybe dreamed that scene.
@@adamlytle2615 Well, I'll just have to re-watch part of the series where Nelix takes his shuttle to help rescue Tom, and Kim. :)
@@adamlytle2615 Maybe in the episode where he leaves Voyager?
Only other episode which comes to mind is Dragon's Teeth - where he gets data off of his ship.. does not fly it though.
Else it'd have to be during Season 1-3, but I often skip those episodes.. the Kazon are boring Klingon cavemen.
@@ThomasGrillo The secondary shuttlebay and auxiliary craft hanger dont show up on the Bridge MSD (Master systems display). If it did he would also have to move the Warp Core towards the front to make room for the secondary bay.
I wish someone loved the Big E as much as this man loves Voyager.
@@phdguy2972 Yea I am very familiar with that project. But I am talking about the E not the D
My heart still lies in the Miranda first, and then Nebula classes. That will probably need to wait a lot of time before anyone deals with them the same way.
It’s crazy to think the Titanic “game” has done several crowdfunding campaigns. Had millions of dollars given to them. And several teams of people working over 10 years. And they still haven’t delivered a product.
And meanwhile you are over here putting them all to shame with your own hard work on a passion project. You are a legend.
Im honestly so impressed with this, its a childhood dream to see the ship in such details! Voyager and the Delta Flyer was my all time favourite ships, even hosted a fan website for them when I was young. This kind of blew my mind!
thank you :)
This is the kind of thing ALL trekkies need. Most would trade all of the collectibles they have to walk the deck of a starship just once. You have provided a real service to us to enjoy repeatedly. Thank you.
It's wild how much bigger Janeway's view is compared to the mess hall.. and Janeway was also supposed to have a private dining hall before Neelix took it... and she was supposed to have a captain's yacht. Half the ship is her personal space xD
indeed
Fantastic job as always. Captain Janeway herself would be proud. I DEFINITELY prefer the bigger view screen for the bridge. I always thought what we got on the show was a bit too small for the size of the bridge.
Budget constraints probably.
It was nice of the Krenim to install a much bigger "wide-screen" viewer, shame it got undone.
@@theslicefactor4590 I bet it was not because of budget constraints but because of the TV production requirements. ST Voyager was made for 4:3 TV screen that was common in 1990s. So the viewscreen could be only as wide to still fit into camera shot, together with the actors standing in front of it.
@@asvarien”REAL 3D”
I actually know the answer to this… it sounds so stupid BUT….
It was the largest green screen tech available to the studio at the time, remember they had started building the set and the buying of the equipment 2 years before production. It is the same reason why DS9 had no “screen” full stop and why the movies had Voyagers screen size on the E’s bridge. They simply couldn’t get a more accurate & manageable green size in that day and age. The technology developed rapidly and within a few years had evolved. There was discussion repeatedly on Voyager about “what if the ship was so badly damaged it got a full refurbishment”, and could/ would an alien race help add technology to voyager? they always considered that alongside introducing the yacht. But it never happened. Instead they eventually settled for the smaller flyer as the capital purchase.
A larger green screen resulted in fuzzing and blur which they decided was unacceptable in the days producing it… this size was cost effective and produced the results they required. This was discussed at a show I went to in London where they had a panel about production of Voyager and what that taught them for Enterprise
Someone show this to the cast NOW. This is the most unbelievable digital recreation I've ever seen
nooooooooooooooo keep it secret keep it safe. or paramount will cease and desist it like stage 9
I like how we got to see parts we didn’t in the show. The three seashells was a nice nod, wish we could’ve seen the captains shuttle
Enterprise E virtual tour would simply " AWSOME ' ! ! ! ! ! !
now i wish the show had spent some time in the aft bar lounge
i belive the aft bar lounge was used when b'lana and tom got married?
Yeah, I was trying to remember that from the show. Was it on there?
They were still in the main crew mess for the wedding
Excellent progress! I really enjoyed the aft lounge with the molten rock theme on the walls. Looked very cozy.
Designed by a Horta, no doubt!
Wow I wish we had a chance to see the aft lounge in a episode. Always wondered what that was it s like Deck 10 After lol. 😂🙄😉🤦🏽♂️😁👍🏾
I suspect there's a hidden door or service hatch behind the bar that connects directly to the shuttlebay's maintenance pit via a short and dimly lit corridor, in finest speakeasy tradition. Perfect for smuggling hooch, or for clandestine makeout sessions when the captain has a headache and doesn't want to see any PDAs 😅
Little over 12 min in and this has given me a much better understanding of the ship.
Watched the entire series many times but there were always elements missing that this is filling in. Many thanks for the video.
Lots of toilets
This makes me feel like Q browsing the ship POV.... great work!
Nice Work
Finally, after all the years I've been a Star Trek fan, someone is taking care of the toilet. Finally it's there, you can see it, thank you
I just noticed the forward docking port on deck 8! I know it's not a big feature and I don't remember it being part of any episode but it is beyond cool how even details like that aren't missed. The shuttle bays are amazing.
Absolutely gorgeous. The attention to detail is mind blowing - the Cooking With Neelix cook book in Janeway's ready room, the day of honour card, the Class 2 shuttles in their little hideaway under the main shuttle hangar, Neelix's ship. I noticed the 3 shells Demolition Man reference. I actually didn't notice the ultra wide view screen change at first because it seems to fit, it looks natural.
One thing I'm surprised about is how big Janeway's quarters and office are and how they're bigger than the mess hall. In the show, the mess hall looks big, spaceous, but compared to the captain's quarters it is small. I guess the captain needs her space, but Voyager isn't a huge Galaxy class ship and Janeway's office looks as big as Picard's.
And then, IIRC, Neelix's kitchen used to be the captain's private dining room as well. Utopia Planetia definitely spoiled the captain with the Intrepid class.
The bar/lounge under the flight deck on the stern, that was pretty cool. It looks bigger than the mess hall below the bridge. Looks like the sort of place to go after a long day of Delta Quadrant shenanigans, have a glass of some alien alcohol and stare out the back at the stars going by.
Very impressive! Someone once released a fully explorable model of the USS Enterprise-D, can't remember what it was called though. This is as good as, if not better than that.
*edit* Seems it was named "Stage 9" and CBS stamped it out with a cease and desist.
Stage 9. And the CBS killed it by cease and desist as soon as they were able. It still lives and can be found online (and in trekker private archives), only thanks to it being released to the public at some point. This is not... and despite the author's hopes, I am afraid that these videoed visuals are the only things we will ever get to enjoy from his passion... before CBS kills it.
Absolutely amazing. i wish this constituted a coop bridge game in VR with NPCs to command and stations to man. I would buy it and play with friends endlessly. It's so beautiful.
20:53 wow I wish they used this set every now and again! Very cool!
Looks like the size of Ten Forward on a Galaxy class vessel. Really surprised it didn't get used all the time for shipwide events, unlike the much smaller Mess Hall. A redress of the TNG set could have accomplished a suitable stand in.
@@proffurrypaws absolutely
definitely love the larger viewscreen on the bridge versus what was in the show. Such detail. I love it
Ditto. I wondered why the downgrade from big screen to small. What happened to star fleets technology? Also their laptop computers. What was with that? Those on Ent D looked better.
@@radioflyer68911 "8GB of ram is enough!"
Voyager's tabletop computer terminals were a product of Starfleet's eMachine design era, as was the conference room table 😅. I don't mind them at all but agree that the D's look classier and will age better since they are square and black.
its so fantastic seeing these areas of the ship that were never shown in the series so beautifully fleshed out. it really adds a whole dimension of scale and realism to the show.
Ditto.
Great work. You’ve got skills. I could never warm to this ship. The saucer section always reminded me of a toilet seat.
No words... except Thank You... and then just say that over and over again for a week.
Just what the doctor ordered, I needed this! Sorts out the scale difference that runs through my head when it hits the pillow.
The doors opening to the main shuttle bay was...chefs kiss!
Thats my ship out of all the ST ships, lov3 the VOYAGER and her Captain 😮
Very good job. It reminds us of the intelligence of the designs in this Franchise.👌
It wouldnt be the Captains readyroom without coffee in the cup. well done with this. its great
Not the 3 shells 😅 Absolutely glorious rendition, I'd love it if there was a playable game like this. Hell, make all the subsystems interconnected (like Starship Simulator) and have me running around desperately keeping the ship operational (a la "One", 4x25). Take all my money!
Cool, didn’t know Neelix’s little ship was basically a space truck, I mean that’s what it looks like.
A few minor details aside, like the somewhat whierd colore of the table in the conference room, thios is just awsome! This model includes some sections I do not remember from the show that were fitting in like the original art department of the show had implemented them!
Respect for all the time, skill and dedication you put into this project! I'd love to see more ;)
♥ Home...I feel like this is an old home of mine that I miss dearly.
And sorry, i meant to congratulate you on your great work. This was a pleasure to watch. Thank you.
Absolutely stunning CGI work, just beautiful. As a HUGE *Star Trek: Voyager* fan, I love this.
Daniel i follow your project for many years now and its amazing what you did... Voyager is my favorite this ship is future-proof even decade after show ended ship looks modern...
True, this ship and the USS Rhode Island Nova class always look spot one!
Well done! I wish there was something like this for the Enterprise F.
Fantastic work and attention to detail. Nice textures and lighting, too. Time well spent.
Earned a new Subscriber; never ever stop! I would love a Star Trek game in the future with a full interior of the ships: exploration and combat
Totally loved this. Along with the Enterprise E, this remains my favorite ship design. You did a great job with this and it was therapeutic and enticing to watch.
Yes, also agree with bigger viewscreen, which goes with the spaciousness of the bridge. I also like the little "nook" aft of the bridge with the hot coffee sitting out.
Love this!! I thought we were about to see where all the extra shuttles were stored when the floor of the landing area opened. 😂
Its only a long video because you would need that amount of time to walk around the ship, which is what you've done and its splendid.
So completely mindblowing! I'm almost afraid to ask if we'll ever get the chance to try this out for ourselves.
the quality of detail ist astonishing!
The shuttle bay is tops! Excellent work.
I always wanted to see the lounge under the shuttlebay!
looks amazing would love a walking tour around the entire ship
Awesome job, really coming along! The new aft lounge is cool, I wish we would have seen more areas like that on the show.
I have a lot of respect for people that go the extra mile with these types of projects. Good on you.
Imagine a game where you have the ability to walk around, checking out the ship. Maybe even have brief conversations with NPC crew members along your way, when you stumble onto a side quest that involves a visiting species' leader who's suddenly turns mad and you're asked to step in and assist. There could be a mission involving coming to the bridge to diffuse a hectic on-screen dispute that leads to the ship getting into battle, and having to make the right choices with firing weapons/raising shields/shifting power from non-critical systems to ensure victory. Tons could be done to create a game just on the Voyager set alone, a real Star Trek game is desperately needed.
I want to port this to Star Citizen SOOOOO Bad
My favourite Design of all of the ships in the Fleet
3 sea shells.....love the nod to "Demolition Man".😎👍
Just incredible. I’m truly in awe. Makes me wish I could live there.
Incredible work. Love the bridge update. 🥳🖖
This is absolutely amazing. Seriously, I'm speechless, bravo.
I can't help feeling like I'm an alien entity exploring this seemingly abandoned ship...just flying casually in and out coming up with theories about who this ship might belong to and what happened to the crew...absolutely stunning work!
_Stupendous_ doesn’t even begin to describe your _Voyager_ … I think the word I’m looking for is _astounding_ !
Seriously this is astonishing work. It’s taken me six years to build my TOS _Enterprise_ that only has low-poly interiors not meant to be viewed from the inside, and you’ve built a FREAKING _INTREPID_ class starship that you can just float around throughout the inside, appreciating all of the exquisite detail along the way. I am pea green with envy of what you have accomplished. You’ve got a new subscriber, and I can’t wait to see what’s next. (Oh and HEY CBS, just back the Brink’s truck up to Daniel’s door!)
Absolutely impressive. I wish I was able to move around there.
I really liked this, I always loved the general shape and feel of the Voyager. I like curvy ships more than the angular/tactical designs that are really popular now. Voyager was a wonderful visual upgrade to the Enterprise D because it really did feel like a ship built for practical day to day operations vs. the luxury liner sensation that the D gave off. It made the ship feel more realistic to me.
I like the bar under the shuttlebay. Voyager had the messhall for meals but it lacked a relaxation space like ten forward on the Enterprise. I guess the Voyager crew were too busy for relaxing. They had the holodeck I guess, but that was constantly hogged by the senior staff, no one outside of the bridge crew got a chance to run their own programs. If you didn't like french bars, polynesian resorts or quaint Irish villages, you were out of luck.
The actual ship had two ,lounges on it we know of, in Caretaker we see one where Paris eats from the replicators, that has a sofa area at the other end. In the series we never see that again but only because Neelix opens the mess hall. That was, in canon, Janeways personal dining room to begin with, so after the mess hall opens we presume the other stayed as a lounge.
In a series 6 episode Kim tells paris he has a concert playing clarinet in the lower bar in the evening. This suggests two things.. one is that there is a bar on board, and that’s the lower suggests there is more then one otherwise it would be just the bar
There was also multiple holodecks, not one, they link them together to form the months long irish village.
They also discuss in one episode how each crew member gets OnE hour a fortnight to allow all crew time to use it. I think we see the senior staff only because they are the cast of the show, not because they are the only ones on board using it
This would look amazing on vr I bet. great work!
HOLY JESUS. Dat level of detail.
Fantastic! I'd really like to see how you'd model the Captain's Yacht, it's hangar and launch bay!
ABSOLUTELY stunning. Best ship!!!
This is magnificent! Please release it as a VR game, I would love to spend my free time on Voyager.
Really, this is just amazing ... I want VR and walk around there ❤
Meanwhile, Here's a list of things THIS COOL coming out for Star Trek that's officially licensed

This is a work of art.
she looks fantastic ,well done
Amazing work! I hope you can walk around this in VR at some point. Would be great to actually feel like you're actually there, inside voyager and able to explore.
Totally happy if it's a long video, I just love watching this masterpiece you've created
Holy cow! Of all the starhips in the franchise, Voyager has always been my favorite! To see it brought to life like this is mind-blowing. And then I read the description, and find out you're going to be making a _game_ with this?! I am completely blown away, best of luck to you with this project.
If I may ask, what poly count is your model? With the amount of detail here, I can only assume it's in the multi-million range. Absolutely top notch work!
I see in the science lab by the bridge you have the most important device in the universe
Best video of 2024 so far
The 3 seashells is a nice touch
The shells are a nice touch.
I love how the 3 shells from demolition man are in the bathroom 😂😂😂😂😂
This is absolutely gorgeous.
I’d love to walk around this using my Vision Pro! Beautiful work 🎉
I would absolutely pay for this as a VR experience and to support small indy devs like you. This is absolutely incredible and I really hope that you're able to work with CBS to bring this to fans around the world!
It's dangerous to mention CBS around projects like this. You know, what happened last time, do you... 😞
Oh god, don’t mention CBS… when fans try and enjoy ‘their’ franchise in any way, CBS sends their lawyers in!
Your work is impeccable, immensely impressive, and absolutely appreciated!
Excellent progress Dan well done. Amazing to think the project is now over 10 years old and to see how far it's come is absolutely incredible. It is a testament to you for you dedication, love, respect for the show and the franchise as a whole. These videos just keep getting better and better. Look forward to the next update and hope that the project moves closer to an actual release (And pray it doesn't get CD'ed by Paramount! :)) As always much love from your long loyal fan and your FB friend :)
Thank you Mike
This is amazing. You can see that so much love has gone into this ship, I can't wait to see more.
Extraordinarily incredible! You have real talent, what a pleasure to see such a fantastic ship to this level of detail. You have obviously taken great care, time and love with such a beloved ship. Very well done!!! Wow image if we could get a remaster of Elite Force to this level of detail.😎👍
The bigger screen looks perfect! And the three shells were
Gorgeous. Neelix's ship was a nice touch. Interesting to see the shuttle manufacturing area ;)
I wish they built the lounge/bar set below the shuttlebay for the show, much nicer than the mess hall
1. I knew I wasn't the only one thay likes this ship design.
2. I feel that klingon painting would make a nice displace if the details in. Painting was there.
3. If those are 3 sea shells iam so still waiting to know how they are used lol.
4. Lol old faithful prop with red flashing tubes.. You have been on so many shows..
This is absolutely stunning - incredible brilliant work!
That's insane. You're insane. I can't imagine how much work that took.
I've always loved Voyager for how clear its scale is, all the doors and windows and other details feel more defined and understandable because the ship is so small, especially compared to the Enterprise-D and E which technically have all the same features but are so immense it's kinda incomprehensible. Of course the Enterprise refit is about the same scale and has similar details and is frankly the better looking ship in my opinion (what a hot take!) but I still think Voyager outdoes it in this regard.
Imagine an elite force remake with this stunning level of detail. Insane work my guy, very impressive.
Loved the 3 sea shells touch, that was great
I don't know what kind of game you want to play. But regardless, you are doing a titanic and incredible job, from the most macroscopic details down to the tiniest. Great. Respect and appreciation for you.
Like real scenic work, it could be used in so many other projects, both TV and video games.
Great... really great.
Ciao from Italy.
Very nice the shuttlebay looks awesome. Also cool to see some other quarters 7:22
Lots of details. Just stunning work what you did there. Cannot wait to see the engine room etc.
8:17 Nice nod to Demolition Man. Never did figure out how one uses the three seashells. lol
Blown away by your shuttle bay work! ✨👏🏽✨
Thanks for posting another update video. Voyager is looking incredible!
