I don't know if thats the vibe I get from this song. The outro sounds a bit like Pain but the chorus really does make it stand out from a lot of the other tracks.

That’s exactly how it sounds at the the start when I first heard it, but I’m different to others, I hear it evolve from Phil Collins into Def Leppard
throw some Brian Ferry, The Cars, Giorgio Moroder, Godley & Creme, Eurythmics and Lindsay Buckingham for good measure too.
Adam’s strongest vocal performance IMO .. saw them at MSG and this one was a standout.. the slow burn to key change and that gorgeous outro.. absolutely electric

I can't stop playing this song. Maybe something to do with playing the album for the first time at night and it coming right after that amazing outro of Change, but this song felt so atmospheric and just damn sexy. I wanted to put it right back to the beginning and play it all over again. Really great song, Love it!!

My favorite song on the album!!
This makes me feel nostalgic for the early 90s when we'd be out driving at dusk, radio cranked up, windows down, and some song by Rod Stewart or Bryan Adams would come on the air, and I'd be singing along with my eyes closed, hands clenched in fists to match the emotion of the lyrics. This song has that same vibe to it, comforting and familiar. A new sing-a-long favorite for when I get in the car for a long trip.
It's a little unusual for a band to be this good after over 15 years. I gotta go back and listen to some of their early stuff. Thanks!

Genesis vibes from this one. TWOG latest album, judging from the several released tracks I've heard, doesn't quite attain the level of excellence of the last two, but that was a standard that would be nearly impossible to maintain.

This band is MUCH BETTER than Phil Collins.... Fantastic song. The performance of this one live in the Tiny desk concerts is outstanding.
They’re too different to compare fairly, if Phil made Alt Rock you could compare but they both excel at their particular genres
@@coreygeorge1874 i must confess i'm not a Phil Collins fan at all. I never liked that 80's reverb sound of his productions. He has some great songs anyway, but i'm not fan of his music in general.
