There are not so many bands that can reach such a level. These guys are a treasure and they deserve the success.

Love "The War On Drugs" fans. The fact that we've discovered such beautiful, uplifting music, fills me with a kindred spirit.
Peter Gabriel vibes at the top, anybody?! This is wholly unique though. The War on Drugs wear their influences on their sleeve, but they have the ability to meld them with their unique touch for a timeless listening experience. They are incredible.

My favourite song on the album. Powerful stuff. Feels like a sorta continuation of the moodiness of An Ocean In Between The Waves.
Yeah, same for me here, "An ocean ..." is my absolute favourite, especially the live version of KEXP, but this song feels equally intense, great stuff!

Ah man, these guys just get better and better. Saw them live at Alexandra Palace in London in 2017 and they were just cosmically in their bag. Love how the intensity picks up on this one- that little piano flourish at the end of each verse is just the cream of the crop. 👌🏼
