I think the aggressive fisting is a way bigger issue than the cattle breeding. Artificial insemination is very common on farms. But you should not be bleeding and in pain, OP. That really seems like something that needs reported and documented.

Paralyzed dude story: so,I'm disabled and in a wheelchair myself, and it's very clear OP's boyfriend needs therapy, a LOT of it, and time to mourn his "lost" life. A lot of people who get freshly disabled so to speak (were able bodied and now are not) need to learn how to live in this way. It IS grieving. It IS mourning. It is very very important that he learns to value his life again, finds new ways to live, and come to terms with his situation. Cocaine and binge gaming/eating ain't it, but it's understandable. That said, I don't blame OP -- his mental health will affect hers too, it must be horrible to live with someone who doesn't want to, on top of the guilt of being the cause of it so to speak. Caretaker fatigue is a real thing 😕
OP did say he had tried therapy and that it “just wasn’t for him” or something like that. How do you give therapy to someone who desperately needs it but refuses delivery? Therapy doesn’t work if the person isn’t receptive… 🙁
@@Tustin2121yeah, that's another issue -- maybe another therapist, but if he's so adamant... then there's not much to be done, is there...
An option would be support from physiotherapists and being around other disabled people, getting into para-sports, that sort of thing. Doesn't substitute therapy, obviously, but for some people, seeing others in the same situation whose lives haven't ended and instead are thriving helps, too.
And really... sometimes there's nothing you can do. I knew a guy who did PT with me, and he'd been in a car crash due to driving intoxicated. Three people died (friends of his), he was the sole survivor. Dude never recovered. He'd drive himself to PT and back, and do so recklessly to the point we could tell he was just trying to unalive himself. 😕

Each person makes their own decision on how they want to live their life, or the countermeasures they are willing to take to take a chance on finding a way to cope and move on healthfully. And in the same way, they must understand that being with someone who has these major mental health issues(no matter how they were caused) WILL create mental health issues with the people closest to them. I was with my ex(still friends but will never be together ever again) for 16 years. I helped devote my entire self to helping her with her depression, anxiety and ptsd she developed young watching and being a product of verbal and physical abuse from her parents and family. At the end of it I now have severe anxiety. I can’t date, I can’t even begin to. Because of everything that happened I’m broken. And I am seeking help and it has gotten a lot better. But it’s real. She shouldn’t be blamed and shouldn’t be seen as anything but making a rational and normal decision to leave him. But unfortunately people think you have to sacrifice everything for them and die for them. That’s just unhealthy.

The saying “don’t set yourself on fire to keep others warm” very much is relevant here. Although of course you do try so much harder for them. I'm in a wheelchair with MS and struggle with lack of sensation below the waist too, it fucking sucks so I can fully sympathise with the boyfriend on that. I was also a full time carer to my mother who was bedbound when I was in my late 20s so I know how real and draining caring can be. Both sides really suck but if the girlfriend can't do it any more and the boyfriend isn't willing to improve on himself then maybe separating is the only way to go sadly.
Maybe the girlfriend can offer the ultimatum first because a relationship is meant to be a team thing, maybe even a trial separation will help knock his head into the right place, for himself, for her and for them both.

I need to take a break from this channel. I had previously unsubscribed because of horrible takes like this, but I will never describe someone who reads a story about a woman being SA’d until she bleed and zeroing in on the cow part as a “sweet soul.” Maybe he’s just trying joke through being uncomfortable, but if he can’t handle a topic maturely he shouldn’t read about it.
He was the same way with that story he laughed about with the woman being attacked by her partner after he blew up over her not eating mustard. He kept saying it was about mustard and he found it so funny, but a lot of people in the comments were saying “it has nothing to do with mustard - he was abusive and this wasn’t the first time.” He clearly didn’t learn anything.

@@esm2000 It kinda sounds like they may be European, especially if they have a vacation home in Portugal, and he says she's currently "surrounded by her people" while they're there. So the laws are different and possibly more fair depending on the home country.
(Now this isn't accounting for them just being mega-rich Americans, but if they were they probably wouldn't be cooking and cleaning their house unless they enjoyed it.)
The last story was almost definitely about the kind of thing farm-hands do, given the associated actions he was assaulting OP with. Weird kink, but OK. The sexual assault/rape on the other hand is straight to jail territory.
Was looking for this comment. Yeah, having grown up on a farm, and knowing the context from the video title, as soon as she said 'aggressive fisting', I immediately thought of how the vets would perform AI and check on the cow pregnancies.

For the 5th story: I think he meant that he worked at a farm and they do artificial insemination, meaning he just fist the cows and puts the tube with bull semen into the cow, not that he did "that" to the cow, if that makes sense. Dabney, you overlooked the part where OP said she is bleeding and hurting after what the cow guy did to her. That is sexual assault. He knew that she said no, and he did it anyway. OP is seriously hurt. The cow portion is disturbing, and definitely animal abuse, but you're so confused about the cows that you missed the trauma this woman just went through. I hope she tells the police, goes to the hospital, and gets support to help her.

Last story: Found the original post and the update was heartbreaking when she admits that it's not the first time she's been assaulted - this was just "the worst" for her. But it looks like she will be going to the police (because it's possible she's not the first girl he's done this to, and might not be the last) and seeking therapy, so that's good to know.
Story 3 (Divorce): Sounds like she has untreated OCD. That is something she should've addressed long before any of this ever happened. If she does have OCD, that is just a reason, not an excuse. She's abusive, pure and simple, and I'm glad OP is finally getting out of there, but I really hope for his kids' sake that he gets primary custody with _maaaaybe_ visitation for her because she's abusive to her kids as well as him.
Story 5: Yes, insemination is a normal thing done on farms. That said... Yes, that was assault - you said no and he did it again anyway.
Agreed to all. I do what the comments were on that post but I do hope that OP can get his lawyer to tell the judge that she needs therapy and a diagnosis for OCD or some other mental illness so he can get custody while she gets treatment.
For the last one, a word of advice if a situation of this nature (SA) ever happens to you (god forbid) and you want to to press charges: DO NOT SHOWER. If you want any chance of putting away the monstrous creature of a person that did that to you, refrain from showering or even cleaning up the area, as that will erase critical DNA evidence that can be used. I know that sounds absolutely terrible, but unfortunately it’s what you have to do if you ever get in a situation like this and want to put that person to justice. Stay safe y’all
He did assault her because she said "no" to fisting and he tried again. That being said, I don't think he's ever inseminated a cow. I've seen it done and it's just "put a tube up there, push the contents out, take tube out." It's nothing graphic or painful. It's safer for the cow too as being bred by a bull can lead to skin abrasions, broken bones, or even death for the cow.

I've met someone who has assaulted a sheep and he has never lived it down so there's that. Most people, myself included, look at him with the genuine disgust he deserves.

I recommend being careful though, she's probably going to make this a living hell for you, and will probably try to get full custody since she's such a control freak with the kids. Story 2: your husband knows he can't say anything because he did the same thing, and it's his boss what's he going to do go to work him punch him in the face? You made a dumb decision out of anger but now it's finally going away so you can see better, divorce might be the best option because if someone feels the need to have revenge sex that's a pretty decent sign the marriage is over.

I usually revel in the fact that people get a taste of their own medicine, but that story was an everyone sucks situation. She confronted her husband, husband admitted he had a problem, and agreed to getting help. The wife flirting with his boss was stooping too late in the situation, and she undid all the problem solving they did.
I grew up in a small farm town in the Midwest. Once a year, the bishop of our church would visit and separate the men from the women in order to give two separate sermons. The wives would receive a sermon about "submitting" faithfully to their husbands, while the men would receive a sermon about leaving the livestock alone.
He doesn't have to magically snap out of his depression... he has to commit to trying.
Story 4: bro is paralysed, he feels nothing from the waist down, he will never walk again, he is the victim here and still she makes it about herself. About how she feels, about the bruises she got, about how SHE can't have sex with him because, wouldn't you know it, he can't feel it.
Of course he has PTSD and trauma, it isn't difficult to remember since he will always live with the problems the accident left.
He is the one in need of help to overcome his now drug addiction and his PTSD.
And still she only worries about herself and how people will see her after leaving him.

I am reminded of a thing that happened when my youngest was in preschool. My wife had gone to work, and I was alone with the kids. I told my youngest to go get dressed because it was about time to go to school. Well...they came out dressed alright, but it was so silly, I took a picture. I took them to school dressed like that. They were never happier. No harm, no foul. Dad has a great picture. About that same time, my eldest, who is now 20 and is a vegan, asked for hamburgers on the grill while we lived in Leadville, Colorado, at 10.200 feet elevation. The kid wanted to eat outside. This child has never really liked meat (which is why she is a vegan...a cool, classy vegan). So my wife was still at work. It was early spring in the mountains. I cooked the burgers, put us all in winter coats, and ate on the porch. I took a picture of that too. Dad has some blackmail pictures. Or more likely, some fun family memories, like the time my father was rebuilding a Jeep engine and my mother took a picture of me literally covered head to toe in grease.

Update #1: Wow, I did expect this to blow up as much as it did. Some clarification: I specifically used the word “inseminate” as it was the word he used, but he definitely fucked those cows. I’m on my way to the ER now, I haven’t stopped bleeding all day and it’s been increasingly more sore.
Also, I’m now well aware that I shouldn’t have invited him over in the first place. Obviously that conclusion was made after the fact, but the sheer amount of victim blaming in these comments is appalling. I fucked up trusting a man I would call and FaceTime for hours every night for over a month, I realize that now. I don’t need it to be eluded that my assault was my own fault.
I appreciate the amount of support that’s been pouring in as well. Surprisingly, the cow puns have been a good laugh in a sick and twisted way too. Update #2: Good morning, people. I want everyone to know that I’ve read every single comment, and I appreciate the amount of people who are concerned for my well-being. I got an STI full panel screening ran, I’m waiting on a call with results. The bleeding has finally stopped, and the damage isn’t severe- I’ll have a hard time sitting for a few more days. One specific commenter pointed out the fact that I may not be the first girl he’s done this too, and I probably won’t be the last. I may be going to the police this morning after my finals exams. I pointed this out in a few responses to some commenters, but this isn’t the first time I’ve been SA’d but it’s certainly the worst. I’ve reached out to my therapist and told her I need to start seeing her regularly again. I’ve taken extended leave from work, and I’m going out to camp in Ocala today to get away from everything. As someone who grew up with an extremely overcontrolling father (and an extremely enabling mother), it's terrible and scars you for life. Everything, to the minute details, has to be done the way he likes it. You're constantly walking on eggshells because you never know what inconsequential thing will set him off next. You're manipulated, you're diminished, you're constantly lied to.
The worst thing was eventually being labeled the _"black sheep"_ of the family for just wanting to have your own personality, because no one will lift a finger to help you and your abuse is just _"teenage drama"_ to them.
Of eventually just having to let go despite how much it still affects you to this day and how nobody around you grew or change for the better one inch for the past 30 years, because _"you can't keep living in the past"_ or _"it's the adult thing to do"_ .
So congrats on OP for at least standing up for himself and his children. It's way more than anyone around me ever did for me.

The first story reminds me of my story. My kids (primary school aged at the time) had a mobile phone that went between my house and their dads. Anyway, my then boyfriend and his teenaged sons were visiting. When they left I noticed the mobile missing. I tore the house apart looking for it, with no luck. My boyfriends kids did have a reputation of stealing stuff to sell, so I told my boyfriend I thought his kids stole it. He said they swore black and blue they didn’t but I never found it so I didn’t believe them. Anyway, years went by (plus a few house moves). I was getting rid of my couch and since I didn’t care about it I flipped it across my drive way to make it easier to move. Something started clunking inside, then out fell the mobile phone… lol. I guess it was pretty lodged in there as it hadn’t been discovered through numerous house moves. I’d broken up with my boyfriend by that stage (and blocked his cheating ass) so I never fessed up to him nor apologised, but I felt so guilty. But I laughed at how funny it was too. I’m talking like 6 years later this goddamn phone reappeared 😂

A farmer here, its not really us farmers who inseminate cows, but something that we call in my language "seminologi" which roughly translates to seminologist.
The Cow Story: Sweetie, he basically DID assault you, you told him no repeatedly and you're bleeding as a result. Tell him he basically assaulted you, that you told him to stop and that you were hurting so bad - you were bleeding (so he understands what he did was wrong). Don't bother talking abut the fact he said you reminded him of his favorite cow. Don't bother with that aspect at all. Dump him, block him and avoid him.

Re the cowboy story....OP says she has a hard time trusting so she waited to meet in person - BUT then went directly to have him coming to her home and likely passionate hugging- that's nuts, you NEVER meet at your place or his for that matter - you meet in a neutral place... you might end up talking or making out in the car but some place you are still safe... you definitely don't 'hug' the 1st time you meet because you don't know each other at all yet...even with a perfectly fine guy, you'll end up developing feelings before you know him and that can lead to inappropriate relationships...please people - ALWAYS meet in a public place and DO NOT give your address - otherwise you could be setting yourself up for being assaulted and you might not even know his real name and the police couldn't do anything - when you think how common date **** happens, I imagine it happens similarly with meeting strangers from online- be smart, be safe people
Story 4: I'm sorry but OP is absolutely Not in the wrong if she leaves him. He did an incredible thing that had incredible consequences. But clearly he does *not* want to deal with them. You don't try therapy once and then give up, and while I've never had firsthand experience with drug addiction, I can't imagine you just try do drugs ~a little less~ and then give up on that too!!! there are countless different kinds of therapy and lots of ways to get clean. Taking care of my dad, i saw a lot of what you describe. Not all of it, he didnt have ptsd and thus no symptoms of it, but there was trauma, depression, and a lack of will to persue whats healthy.
It was hell taking care of him and eventually I hit my breaking point and had to bail out.
Before I left, my dad, with sadness in his eyes, looked me in mine. He said "make sure you visit."
While there was sadness in his eyes, there was also understanding.
Op, your husband loves you and hes trying his hardest noy to be a burden to you, but deep down he knows what his condition does to the people around him.
He understands why you left. He understands its not just hard on him and how hard it is on you, too.
The best thing you can do is take care of yourself, but continue to show love for him. Call him, make amends, and even if you stay seperate for now, be there for him in spirit.
The right course of action doesnt exist, here. You can only do what is best for you, and from there support him however you can.

Foe the Heartbreaking story with the disabled boyfriend: He may have saved OP, and she can be grateful, but that doesn't mean she is obligated to remain in a unhappy relationship. I understand having PTSD and having trauma from a horrible accident and experience like the boyfriend has endured, its not easy. But if he's going to wallow in self pity and actively refuse to do things that will help him (i.e. going to therapy and stop doing cocaine) then he's choosing to live a miserable life and no one can change that but him. OP has demonstrated patience and has demonstrated her support for him, and he chooses to disregard it. On top of that, he is neglecting her emotional and physical needs as well as his own needs. There's nothing else OP can do except focus on helping herself, because clearly her boyfriend doesn't want it.
Just so you know, unless you're in that community cripple is no longer an accepted term. Some of us have worked to reclaim it with the CripplePunk movement, but even then.... stick with disabled.

Getting paralyzed is my worst fear. If I died then that's it, I wouldn't have anything left to think or feel, but losing the ability to walk and be confined to a chair would be it for me. I live alone, it's just me and my cat. I'm pretty sure I would lose all of my willpower if that was my fate.

When I first got married we were both fairly busy- we agreed that we'd spend a weekend day (really just an afternoon) doing laundry & all the cleaning - I liked the idea of taking the laundry to the laundry room (in a building) and then working like crazy to get everything done by the time the laundry was finished...we split the tasks evenly and I worked non-stop, however, he went about things more casually and took regular smoke breaks (he only smoked outside) and this use to infuriate me since I was all done but had to wait around for at least another hour for him to finish....I was doing a lot of self-help stuff at the time (and started therapy a few months later) and realized that just because we do things differently doesn't mean there is one correct way to do things- I apologized to him, told him it still bugged me but it was a me problem and I would keep working on it- soon I started taking our dog for a walk while he finished but he didn't like that and asked if I could do something else so we could walk our dog together so I did a workout (with a video- yes, a long time ago) but needed a shower after so he ended up having to wait for me about 15-20 minutes but since this never bothered him it worked well- we enjoyed walking out dog, usually in the woods and coming back to a clean house, clean bed and clean clothes plus I only had 3 other workouts left for the week so it all worked out- it was a huge lesson for me that there is no right way to do things and this became a story that I used with my clients when I became a social worker ( if it was relevant of course)- I could tailor it to people's differences in many areas
