A Pokemon Alpha Sapphire Hardcore Nuzlocke Challenge with ONLY SHINY POKEMON - Can it be done? (No items, No overleveling)

RULES:
1) If a Pokemon faints, it's considered dead and can no longer be used.
2) Only the first encounter can be caught on each route.
3) Species Clause; I can reroll an encounter if the first encounter is something already caught.
4) No items in battle (held items are fine).
5) No overleveling the next gym leader's highest Pokemon (leveling up during the fight is allowed).
6) Battle style must always be on 'Set'.

Pretty easy with rng manipulation so if it’s not live take everything with a grain of salt

Oras has a lot of handholding so definitely an easier game to do hardcore nuzlockes your basically getting healed after every route and team aqua/magma battle no where close to as rough as OG emerald or Platinum lockes no forgiveness back then lol

Caught my very first random, full odds shiny yesterday. It was a Ferroseed in Sparkling Cave in Black 2, literally the very first encounter. I started playing Pokemon when Black and White came out, with Black being my first ever game. I think you can imagine how hyped I was for this Ferroseed.

Cool video, I found a shiny zigzagoon a couple of weeks back on alpha sapphire while trying to find lotad and ralts to add to my team.
it was my second shiny however, my first shiny was a krabby in heartgold. Honestly zigzagoon's shiny is pretty cool since it takes
zigzagoon's bland color palette and actually makes him look pretty good. The reason why so many people probably never encountered
a shiny is because ALOT of people use repels while i simply don't and battle any pokemon I encounter so I can level them up.

@@ninjaseth4357 Does that truly upset you that much? That he values his mental health and prioritizes getting more content out there by making shinies slightly less rare. Like they're still not remotely common iust not absurdly rare like they are normally. It's not really feasible to make videos for most content creators at full odds for shinies while doing a nuzlocke. So you'd never really get videos like this otherwise, or at the very least there would be way way less of them.
I appreciate the love for shiny Aggron. I was lucky enough to encounter a shiny Lairron in Victory Road just after beating the Elite 4. I have it now in Sword and Shield, maxed out stats and I used an Adamant mint on it. It's an absolute Fairy stomping beast.

Aron is my favorite Pokémon but I never really cared for its shiny, I recently caught one in Pokémon go and wasn’t going to evolve it but Aggron’s shiny is actually pretty great and teal is my favorite color too so I’ll probably end up evolving that Aron now. Thanks for showing me my favorite Pokémon actually has a nice shiny!

The odds of shinies are a lot more common now than they used to be when I started playing which was johto always watched and loved Pokémon just never got a game boy till silver came out

u can easly use cheats to increase the rate. i really dont think he reset 4000 times for each encounter. would literally cost him weeks

what do you do to increase shiny odds? im looking to do a similar run like this and dont want to spend months hunting for everything
Early game there’s nothing. The only thing from this organically is the shiny charm from completing the national dex or Masuda method of breeding two Pokémon of different irl regions. Shiny hunting is something that takes time and dedication but is worth it if you can sit for hours of nothing happening.
Best bet is probably xy, sumo, or oras.
Xy has horde battles so 5 encounters at once is huge. It also has fish chaining.
Sumo has sos battles and the pokepelago.
Oras has the dex nav.
The fact you killed kyogre rather than shiny hunting it to get another pink giant hurt me lol

i am fully willing to be wrong in my understanding of nuzlocke rules and stuff. but in the beginning he says no held items. and then in the battle against brawly his zubat uses an oran berry.
do berries not count as held items? is that more for like focus sash etc items?

Can you please elaborate on which ROM or editor you used to give increased Odds. I have Rosalina and checkpoint on a hacked 3DS but I don’t want 100% shinies. I just want to increase the odds.
