Opposite colors in the color wheel. In color theory it makes sense that it is appealing to the eye in terms of balance. And actually my 2 favorite colors also lol
I really like Vibrava shiny cause it looks like the natural evolution (by color) to Trapinch
Shiny Camerupt. I love the black coloration on Camerupt. It looks amazing! My second fav is Sceptile, as the blue gives it a more slick look

7:39 I'm sure someone has already mentioned this, but the reason Slakoth outspeed Makuhita is because Vital Throw is a move that always goes last.

I know Emerald has broken RNG so while the shiny odds are naturally 1/8192, sometimes it will be easier or harder to find a shiny depending on where your Shiny frames are.
This can be fixed on emulators as they have clocks that work properly, also at the start he pressed "patch game" Wich I'm pretty sure changes the shiny odds and enables emulator clock presets.

As @RyanO11 said, he made the Shiny chance lower. 1 in 8192 is ~0.0122%, which is more than the 0.01% he set.

Isn't 0.01% is 1 in 10000 and is less than regular shiny odds which is 0.012% so you made it more harder than it should be.Correct me if I am wrong but incredible video

I think it was just a confusion in the wording of the tool. Seems like it was asking for a number to *convert* into a percentage (0.01 gets converted to 1%) but it was simply labeled as "percentage" so a user can tell what that section is used for

I just replaced the internal battery of my pokemon sapphire cartridge and reset the game to get timed events again. And while I was resetting for a female torchic, I found a shiny one! Also during my Emerald Nuzlocke, I found an Abra, threw a great ball, and actually caught it. I was so happy until my main two attackers next to Kadabra were shot down with a critical hit right before Lilycove… Had to restart and almost cried after all the grinding I had to do.

It's possible, as that's a feature of the "Universal Pokémon randomizer". There may be seperate software that can do that though 👍

A regular shiny chance is 1/8241 chances i think. By choosing a 0.01% percentage, you made that 1/10 000 chances, which is HARDER! Great vid nontheless

No? 1/8192 is ~0.000122%. 100% is equivalent to 1.0 in terms of decimals. Moving the decimal point to the left essentially divides your odds by 10. That means that 0.1 is 10%, and 0.01 is 1%. He set it to 0.001, which is 0.1%, or 1/1000.

The game doesn’t calculate the 0.01 as an actual percentage it calculates it as odds. So 0.1 is 1/10 since 10 0.1’s make 1 so that means 0.01 is 1/100 so his shiny odds were 1/100 instead of the usual 1/8192.

I remember back in the day when I have to go see May in route 103. She's yet to give me pokeballs, and I haven't even reach the first pokemart (and even when we do, we still can't buy pokeballs yet), and I encountered Shiny Poochyena just in my 3rd encounter, and I wasn't shiny hunting at all. Pains me when I have no choice but to defeat it.
