Fair play to City. I was more gutted over losing the FA Cup but wanted them to win the Champions league; I always support English teams (except Liverpool) in Europe. It also helps that the only English teams to have won the treble are both from Manchester.

No they didn't do it better. They spent more and had easier teams to beat than ManUtd who had harder PL rivals, harder FAcup route and more greater CL teams to play and it was a harder format which they only had 2 years of until they gave teams more room for error in the competition.
You'll always get teams finishing above teams who ship 43 PL goals, that's not impressive. There's only been 1 PL team who've finished above a team who've only conceded 17 and that was when ManUtd beat a much more solid and much more successful Arsenal team.
