- 420cc Racing Kart with TOCE Exhaust. Has Stage 1 but it is a caged ape with the governor still in it. Frame is a Haase Blizzard shifter kart. Going to remove governor, gas tank and relocate it. Another video of this Kart in this link.

What are you running for gear ratio for the front and rear sprocket and how fast is it running on the top end ?
What centrifugal clutch you using ? I never know what to call them because of controversy lol.
hey
i know its an old video but do you still now wich pinion you builded in?
Where did you get your motor mount? We have almost the same exact setup but can't find a motor mount...
I have the same kart and I’m having trouble locating brake pads would you happen to know what brand calipers they are or where I can get brake pads and rebuild kits for the calipers?
Did you buy the chasis or you built it?
Thanks
Cool cart u should of gone with neon green
Oh dah jangle clutch
I’m not sure there would be enough room on this set up. I’m haven’t seen it tried on a racing kart?
In regards to adding a torque converter to this cart
What clutch are you running?
Hi, was ist das für ein Kupplung und Kette Achse Ritze ??? 428 /420? 419 ?
You should get a 3D Motorsport clutch
De cuantas pulgadas es el eje trasero
Carburetor settings?
Where did you get the centrifugal clutch for that thing I can’t find a good one for my 420cc
I have a gx390 kart with a heavy fiberglass body and and the clutch i use is holding up like a champ. I got it pff amazon for around 50 bucks. Search for heavy duty clutches. The ones without the holes in it
@@blakegebauer76 Are you talking about the silver ones
@@jadxiden6981 yup the unpainted ones. I cant speak to all of them but the one i got is still holding up good
Why u don’t use torque converter?
Probably wants higher speeds
Lack of room too
Drive it like you stole it!
Are you running a #35 chain?
Austin Thomas yes, it’s a #35 with a 54t sprocket
How many hp?
Can you send me the link straight to the motor mount I can't seem to find it

This mount is for the euro frames only. Vegas Carts may have started making them for American karts by now but try looking them up and calling them. They specialize in golf carts but also make racing kart stuff too
To mount a 420cc on a racing kart, you will need to cut a little of the shaft off. Try to estimate how much shaft to cut and mark it. I cut between 1/2” to 3/4”. Wrap tape around the shaft to make a clear stopping point. Crank the motor so the shaft will spin and use a grinder wheel to cut at the same time. This makes an even cut. Make sure you don’t cut so much that you lose the clutch bolt hole. It’s easy to do but take your time and double check measurements. I had about 1/4” to 3/8” of space between the seat and top of the clutch bolt.
Thank you this was helpful I found a mount on pfm parts and thanks for the shaft tip I have a biesse B3 kart and a Tony kart I'm just going to see which one works best
Where did you get your motor mount I need one
I got the mount from Vegaskarts.com . They specialize in golf carts but also make these motor mounts for euro kart frames. It’s a two piece mount
Where did u buy your clutch?
BMI Karting. It’s. The Noram Mini Cup. It’s for the 1” dia shaft on the 420cc
rosscarmichael78 i appreciate the response
No problem
Do you have any clutch issues with that much power?
No clutch issues because I used the Noram Mini Cup clutch which is made for this motor.
Which motor is that
Jon , it the Harbor Freight 420cc Predator
rosscarmichael78 that’s what I thought. I want to get a frame chassis like this for a 420. What or where should I look?
Mine is a euro frame and Vegas Carts makes a mount specifically for Euro karts. You will have to cut the 1” shaft off because it will intrude into the seat area. I think I removed about a half inch to 3/4”. I explained the procedure in one of the other post. It’s definitely easier to go with a modified 212cc. $100.00 for the 212cc motor with $200.00 in upgrades would be a good move.
Top speed? 60? 80?
Blackbeard 007 , not even close! It still had the governor
Whats the top speed? I get 34 with my 212 stage 1 governor in still. Im thinkin of buying a 420 but is it faster?
What kind the engine
420cc predator from harbor freight
could you find a more dangerous muffler... lol
PowerOf One , haha probably not.
A 1 n to 2
Why your 420cc very slow?May be 125cc....
Are you selling it?
post awesome ,,,, It’s been Sold.
@@rosscarmichael78 so all you did to the 420 was put a new exhaust and air filter on it and how fast does it go?
post awesome , this stock 420 has lots of torque but wasn’t very fast. I’m sure with mods, you can make it fly.
