I love my P30sk (V3, decocker, no manual safety). Thanks for the great comparison.

Great video again! Can't go wrong with either, I have both. I've been carrying the p2k a lot lately, just a little smaller overall and comfortable to carry AIWB, at least IMO. Both fantastic shooters.

If you're serious about adding the Grayguns Short Trigger Reset System I highly recommend that you change your P30 LEM V1 to the V4.1 Combat Defense Action (CDA) system. This trigger upgrade reduces the trigger pre-travel by about 5mm or 1/3 of the original trigger pre-travel. Then add the Grayguns Short Reset System for CDA LEM 4.1 Trigger. Finally add the Graygun's HK P30 Straight Trigger. I have this system on my LEM P2000SK, P2000 and P30L. This combination makes for an awesome trigger .

There was something I said during the course of the video that I'd really like to take back or clarify. I forget my exact wording, but I basically said you don't need to read the manuals for guns. I shouldn't have said that. What I should have said is the more experienced you are with firearms, the less and less important information is in there. There will always be one or two little things you can glean from a manual, and by all means feel free to read them, but a lot of it is redundant safety information.

    Good video. I own a P30 (not the P30L). Considering the p2000.

The RSO in the standard P30 RSA is pretty much identical to the P2000, since they are essentially the same firearm. The P30 is just another evolution of the USP Compact, much like the P2000 is. You can run your P30L slide on your P2000 frame, since the locking lugs are the same. The only real difference between the two is the fire control group. if you had a P2000 V1, they would be nearly identical, save the ergos on the frame.

I just bought a used Hk P2000 9mm, BC date code says it is a 2012 model year. It has a hammer like the P30 but with a heavy trigger pull, unless your rack it then it is a lot lighter. I am guessing it is the V2 trigger. No decocker but can control the hammer full range of motion with the trigger.

I love my p30 v3 long slide and sk and had a p2000 .40 v2 which I hated. That said a GrayGuns v1 p30 or p2000 is next on !y hk list for carry.I love the handles size for both im leaning towards a p30 bit am very open to the 2000 in 9mm as long AA GrayGuns mod works and I can use the p30 mags which obviously looks like it will that said having complete cross compatibility with the p30l and a p30 would be a money save. Not that anyone cares but a Chiapas White Rhino .357 might be the best carry pistol out of the 27-ish of all brands and styles but damn if a v1 lem USPc, 2000 or p39 doesn't come close... I enjoy strikers they are great but I prefer da/sa, lem, revolver or Sig DAK carry if I can't find say a p229 I'm da/as for $600 I know I can in DAK form and convert later. Or just a 1911, VA or Beretta m9 for the fourth time. For the life of me idk why the lem or just a revolver isn't mandatory sidearm carry for our oh so wonderful undertrained, over-armed, inconsistentally trained police force. Let alone fascists.

Great pistols BUT HK needs to take a walk across the street to the plastic case factory that Walther uses for the PDP cases. HK cases are too small and the foam inserts are old crummy surplus. Not the quality the HK product deserves. PDP cases 👍👍

  • @km1157

    Looks like a Lem p30

  • @ismaelgonzalez1288

Sorry to say, but doesn’t look like l you like The P 2000 I have 13

  • @Patriot-rising

10 round mags look so weird. I would never get use to them. I mean pistols like my FNX 45 Tac with 3 15 round mags. Or my FN Five Seven MkII with 20 rounds. Yeah no way I would ever live in a state which limits my fun to 10 rounds per mag.
