England players are mental chokers and knockout stages are different, Pep isn't the best at knockout football. Someone like Ancelotti would be better suited.
In fairness, if he was offered the Spain job, I hope he would take them up to the top again. What an honour that would be for him, and the nation of Spain, along with Spanish fans.
It would still be interesting to see him go onto manage a team, without the copious amounts of financial backing, and see how far he takes a team with those restrictions.
For football, no doubt he’s one of the best.

How embarrassing to have Ferdinand do this, still trying to polish the turd he dropped in the first leg when he celebrated Real Madrid's goal against City in the first semi final despite never having played for them. This is not the same as Shearer celebrating a Newcastle game or Carragher celebrating a Liverpool game. Pep and the players know he actually wanted to City to lose that game out of pure spite.
