    Pep guardiola is one of the most influential football manager i have ever seen. When he started from barcelona, not only barca he influenced the spanish national team. So spain successfully lifted euro and world cup trophies. Then, he went to munich, Germany also lifted world cup. Not only trophy but also performed a wonderful and memorable world cup football match especially they beat brazil 7-1 in the semi final match. And nowadays, since he joind man city english national football team grow up year by year. We see in the last world cup they reached semi final. In my opinion, when pep joined different football clubs in different countries his success and achievements were not only for his clubs but also for the countries respectively. I wish him best luck for his future.

    • @LeominsterFC
      @LeominsterFC Před 5 lety +8

      flori114 Delusional. People like you should have to state your full name and job credentials to post on the internet. If you knew absolutely anything about football you’d understand that two European semi-finals and a r16 in three years with three consecutive Bundesliga titles to go with two German cups is success not failure. The Champion’s League is decided on small details; it’s not about the best team it’s the best team on the day and even the best Barcelona team in history that you’ve mentioned lost to Chelsea in a tie that they had over 80% possession and about 30+ chances. He improves every player individually, tactically, mindset-wise, everything. He exudes class and confidence that transmits to the players. He has won the league title in every single season as manager except two. He’s got over 20 major titles in his managerial career to go along with being apart of the Dream Team and working under Johan Cruyff. So in conclusion, your bias is clear and mentally you’re not in a good place. No manager wins without money; even average players cost over 20m. He could take Everton to the top 4, he could take Arsenal to competing for a title. He would win the lot with Chelsea and he damn sure wouldn’t have finished 6th with United. There’s not a better manager in world football and since Jose lost his aura there’s not even another close. So continue closing your eyes while the rest of us enjoy greatness because once he’s gone you’ll never see football like City are playing now ever again.

    I remember the days when watching his barcelona play, they suck the life right out of the opponents and their fans. And then they taunted them with tiki taka football after scoring 5 goals. Teams couldn't touch the ball. El classico's were perfect example. Ronaldo would give his best and still come out with nothing. He was even furious enough to push Guardiola. That's how hard it was for teams to play against Pep's team. Now i know how great it feels to be on Peps side.

    He's a genius. I knew the moment when he was around finishing his first 10 games for FC Barcelona in 08/09 season. We Barca fans could instantly feel this great change in the team and knew we were going to redefine the football on how it has to be played! Pep didn't just do that but won all the accolades and trophies there were to win and that too in some style with beautiful football at the highest level. We know Messi is a genius, a GOAT but believe me under Pep he flourished so much and so quick. People say it was a golden generation of Barca that Pep coached but let me tell you Iniesta was still very underrated, Busquets was hardly a name people knew out of Spain, brought Pique back to Spain, got rid of Ronaldinho etc, kept useful players like Sylvinho, Belleti, Marquez, Milito etc... He simply made them sooo much better and instantly turned them into world class players because of the style he plays in.

I never thought his style would ever work in England but he did it... what I'm most amazed about is how he gets the best out of some of his players... I'm not talking about your Aguero, KDB, Silva etc. They were great players before pep... Pep somehow made Sterling look like a great player (he was awful at the WC) but playing for Man City he's so good (look at his goal against Arsenal)... how? the likes of Fernandinho... Delph... Both started as assistants for Mr. Van Gaal at Barcelona, were fierce rivals in la Liga and now in the EPL? It's inevitable my friend. One always moans and throws his players under the bus as the other works hard and is always behind his team. Difficult for me not to compare given the rivalry between the two Manchester clubs. Mourinho moulded the team in his philosophy as well spending over £400 millions over a span of two years but instead of being behind his team, he is actually working against them by critizing when there is no need to be. And i enjoyed the interview. It made me realise what it specifically takes to win the league with 100 points - by always being propitious, supportive of the team, taking risks, play attractive but simple football.

      so why has Klopp not won the league if optimism and passion is what it takes. We took Mourinho and put him in a box, Play Rashford, Play martial, Play Shaw, Play Lingard they are academy babies, play attack, play our way. Why go hire a world class coach that defends when you claim to have an attacking tradition in the first place which is a foolish assumption, i watched Ferguson and he lost lots of matches, Fergie was under pressure that his game was outdated when Mourinho came in to Chelsea and won the league 2wice, he stayed made a point with the last league he won and retires on a high then all becomes perfect in the media. The only players that are his material(physical die hard fighters) in that full squad are Matic, Valencia, Baily, Lukaku, Rashford if not for his "generous press mouth" Herrera the rest he is trying to manage a team of underachievers who know nothing about winning mentality. Guardiola will sell a player who doesn't pass the ball exactly as he wants, go find out what happened between him and Dante in Bayern . We will both agree Pogba needs to understand the time has come to step up and become a consistent player unlike when he was 23 years in the Italian league.
      So feel free to admire Guardiola who last season was nicknamed "FRAUDIOLA" but now he is the king and the press loves him.
