Pep is a genius. Obviously the money helps but you only have to look at Chelsea and Man Utd to see that doesn't guarantee success.
It's all about the club, city brought pep with a vision of creating an identity for the club through his playing philosophy, even after he leaves I don't believe there going to abandon his principles but build on the foundations he laid. United on the other hand......
I think the transfer spend comparison across those clubs says a lot about how those clubs are run, but very little about manager capabilities (e.g. no single manager at those 2 comparison clubs has spent what Pep has over such a long period - managers at those clubs are always dealing with a hodgepodge of types of players, rather than their own choices).
True if it was about money United and Chelsea would be ruling Europe
It's better to look at the netspend over the past 5 years in the PL. City are the 7th highest spenders in the league.
That means 6 clubs are outspending city to win nothing…..
Bro any club or coach would want what city has which is structure and a good project
Fabian Delph will forever be underrated, people hear his name and think average at best but what he did in that team that season is what the “modern day inverted fullback” does now.
He knew basics of football, that's for sure
Exactly makes me laugh when nobodies on the internet mock him he was superb that season 100pts Centurion yes a limited footballer but so was Milner and City/Liverpool fans laud him for being a top player also
Pep is that type of person wich isn't credited enough but his real value will be fully recognized after he retires.
He's not the first one in the history of this sport to manage big budget teams but the levels of consistency his teams have reached are unheard of.
The man is a footballing genius. What are City going to do when he leaves? Absolute genius coach.
i love how pep guardiola had popularised the inverted full back, of bringing a lb or a rb into midfield and that had become the most influential tactic, with klopp and arteta inverting one full back, whilst postecoglou inverts both full backs. allowing the creative midfielders to move into half spaces like odegaard maddison sboszolai, de bruyne etc. And this has basically become a new tactic and pep has influenced so many managers.
it is so painful when fans just downplay every single good thing about him to just money. He's been so influencial in Modern football and is just simply a tactical genius. Yes he's spent a lot and that's because like other managers he always wants to work with very quality players. No manager really wants to work with average players. He's basically doing what every other good manager in the pl and Europe do which is signing players wit potential and talent but because of how successful he's always been he gets a lot of hate for it. Some of these players at city weren't even well known until they worked for Pep. He's the reason Rodri is considered one of the best CDM's right now same with bernado and others. He acquires quality players and brings the best possible version out of them.
Jurgen Klopp won trophies with mediocre average players like Henderson and Milner.
I wonder if Pep Guardiola would be able to win anything with Dortmund or Liverpool 🤔
@@Ibrahim-nf6yhdoesn’t matter he’s the best coach oat
@@Ibrahim-nf6yhbtw Klopp would never do what Pep did they are both one of kind
@@Ibrahim-nf6yhpep bought average players and turned them into monsters
@@Leak_MCFC Yes Klopp would win equally as much with city
they say he is a checkbook manager, i think he is a genius
His mancity team isn't what put him in the conversation, but his Barcelona team. That Barcelona is in top 5 greatest team of all time
It's probably the greatest
Prime time Iniesta Xavi Biscuits David Villa Dani Alves and a young Leo Messi
That Barcelona team is the best of all time
@BasedHadrian
Navas
Carvajal Varane Ramos Marcelo
Modric Casemiro Kroos
Isco
Benzema Ronaldo
But this video is talking about tactics not who’s the better team. I think what he’s done at city is his best work tactically
So Fabian Delph changed the landscape of European football?
Money doesn't translate into wins, just ask Chelsea. Pep is strategically and tactically the best in the world. Plus his man management and ability to make each player better cannot be challenged.
No, but it helps alot lol. He wouldn't win a UCL with players like Rashford up front or a Gareth Barry would he lol. Pep has always come into clubs that already excel. He said so himself that he couldnt win with a mid table team.
@@Jake-vh6jp I’m confused. Were Phil Foden, Kevin DeBruyne, Rodri, Silva, or Walker world class when they joined ManCity. They were good and turned into World class. Like I stated, it’s not about the Money, he takes good players and makes the world class. Check our net spend against any other club.
@@Jake-vh6jp also Rashford is a good player in the wrong system. Look how he performs for England. It’s like he’s a different player. He slots into Garth’s system and can take over a match. I’ve always like him, even when the made his derby debut and scored at the Eithad. I was like Oh watch for this guy.
@@Jake-vh6jp as if Rashford wouldn't be 10 times better under Pep. He improves every single player, then people pretend his players were just born world class
Pep revolutionised football and his methods will be followed forever. No other manager have had this sort of influence
Money , but look at MUFC, CFC, Everton they can't do what Pep can do even PSG or NUFC! WHAT A COACH 🔥
City we were born, city we will die.
since 2008 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@blenderIN Destiny
@blenderIN not really.
Were you born before 2008? If so, were you supporting them when they were shite? I'm guessing not...
That 21/22 4-4-2 was also pretty good
Best coach and best team premier league has ever seen, regardless of cost, the players still need coaching.
Simone Inzaghi is an interesting coach
Won 5 of the past 6 P L not 5 of the past 7 P L.
What pep is doing to football is like what CERN does with particles.
He is inventing roles, experimenting while winning. And yes it takes a top team with good financial stability to see it succeed.
PS> Post pep we can see how whole of england (youth, championship teams, PL teams) have been in favour of his style of play(or variation of it),
YES> he has been the most influential coach in English history.
Pep is a trend setting genius. He makes City the most exciting team in Europe.
Comfortably the best ever. No one else has ever tried to change the way football is played. Even u9s are now playing out from the keeper
Which has and will continue to benefit our national team. One of the big reasons we struggled in tournaments was because we struggled to keep possession and were chasing shadows in the heat
He literally did what Cruyff taught him, and Cruyff literally did what rinus Michels taught him, so "his idea" is actually older than him.
@@andrijastojcic5695 pep advanced the olden tactics
@@andrijastojcic5695this is facts. City fans don’t wanna hear them tho. Truth is there’s v little ‘new’ ideas in football.
@@andrijastojcic5695 "literally", huh? So every single manager's been just "literally" doing what their mentor taught them. No innovation, no tactical advancement, it's all been the same since the game was codified, right?
Pep is without a doubt one of the best tactician in the world... but need to spend big on players to play his system..
Blame the inflation in the market
Didn’t spend big at Barca, or Bayern tho, you people just come up with a narrative no matter how unfounded and run with it
Didn't spend big with Barca youth, senior Barca team or Bayern.
Delph got soooooo much hate after he joined City, didn't play well for a while. Then Pep came and made a masterclass. You say Pep needs billions... not really, he actually spends well more often than not
He doesn't even make the transfers.
5 in 7 premier league titles, I see what you did there
I don't think it's a coincidence that England are playing way better then they have done during any other period he's the best coach I've seen Fergie didn't coach he managed and left the sessions to his coaches
GUARDIOLA A GENIUS OF A MAN THE EINSTEIN OF OUR GAME
THAT’S WHY HE’S THE GOAT, THE GOAT 🐐 🧠🧠🧠🧠🧠
he isn’t though
I think stones is unreal. But why would you. It just replace him with a genuine world class mildfikeder??.?
Pep is always changing at same philosophy
After Haaland his philosophy is hugely changed
City have terrific players now
His investment is great but the new players won't become fit in the first season except Haaland
Pep is the example of make it complicated to be successful
Top video,respect from Russia.
If you think it's all about money, ask Chelsea and Pochettino.
You still have to spend it properly.
overhyped Sean Dyche imo
Hahaha remember fabian Delph what a random player
Hardly random, england international and won multiple league titles
He also is able to basically play FM in real life though.
Can get anyone he wants.
Not true. Plenty of times city pulled out of transfers due to high prices
He wanted maguire, alexis, jorginho, kulibali, paqueta, rice, kane and the list goes on and on and on and on,,,if he actually got what he want he would have really dominated football world
Love the amount of casuals that just assume Pep's handling the transfers, when he's not
Evolution or no evolution...this city team will go down to Liverpool severely bantered
So u telling me in comment section that if i had a fb club, with the privilege to hire a cosch btw Klopp & Pep, I wd hire Klopp??!!
Even if u drugged me!!!
Goat. Haters can cry and stay envious forever. He's a football royalty which immortalized himself.
First one here
115 charges
If u put pep in klopps position and klopp in peps position he would have won very little
So how come they ended up in these positions and not the other way around?
Pep only plays for teams that has a bigger budget than there rivals. If both had the same money klopp would win more than pep
how come the richer clubs want Pep?

Reduced football to boring pass-a-thon……no drama….no jeopardy…….
No drama in that final game of the season against Gerrard's Villa, right?
he copied tony pulis and started using 4 centre backs in defence.

😅😅 you guys don't rest wasting your data on stupid comments .... continue mate maybe you might feel better oneday😅
03:22 "than the German international" he's not technically German, he's Turk.
Pep Fraudiola the FFP cheat
Klopp would of done the same if not better with the same money Peps had to spend. World class manager yes but overrated. Let's see him at a club coming 8th and making them into European champions. We won't though, he follows the money and power 😅
Klopp took a LFC that had finished 6th, to 8th. After years of building, managed to drop them to 5th. Money and power follow Pep, not the other way around. Every club wants him.
Klopps done a better job with Liverpool without the mountain of money, no cheating, and better player management. His players would run through walls for him. Peps players do it out of fear of getting dropped.
That’s why they won the treble last season. Cause they were scared of pep 😂 what a shocking take.
I wasn't talking in absolutes and saying fear was their only motivation. Just making the point of maybe City would be celebrating more trophies if Klopp had been at the helm.
Name a player that's stood up to Pep that hasn't been forced out the club. Its a team game, not a dictatorship@@jrrabbit03
what a sad, delusional cope
Any team wd choose Pep over Klopp any day, even over any other coach.
Why wd I give Klopp a lot of money over Pep to coach a club?
Learn to cope success of ppl u don't like.
Amazing what money and a little bit of cheating can do
Money couldn't help your team though mate.
cheat city that no one like 🤣🤣
Ain't helped Everton 😂😂😂
