Redgard Waterproofing | Troweling Vs Rolling | Tile Tub Surround

I'll be honest...I'm not a huge fan of Regard 😄 It smells so incredibly toxic that I literally can't seem to get the smell out of my head. Even editing this video together I was telling myself....never again!
I wanted to create this video to demonstrate how to use this product in accordance to being comparable to other better waterproofing systems & ANSI 118.10
The fact is most people are not getting this waterproofing thick enough to be comparable. Majority of people are simply rolling 2 coats on and calling it a day. And I ultimately agree 😁 2 coats is probably just fine for a tub surround and any wall application. But its not enough to meet ANSI 118.10 or be equivalent to better products like:
