Bass player, Janek Gwizdala, jams with drummer, Søren Kepler, at a clinic. Communication is key - especially when playing with someone for the first time. They get around a few grooves, and Janek gives a few tips on how to cope with odd time signatures as they go along.

Dunno why everyone's getting so mad with the drummer. Janek said that they've never played together before and these are the kind of things that happen when you've never worked with someone before. They're just feelin' each other out. Nothin wrong with that.

@pleximanic You can't just list 3 bassists who didn't slap much, if at all, and "prove" that. Look at Mark King/Victor Wooten/TM Stevens, don't they "prove" that it isn't lame? Can you slap? Do you play bass? can music even be "bad"?

I'm talking about the drummer...........Janek is great and humble but the drummer thinks he's the best drummer Janek has ever played with. He is doing silly challenges and keeps interrupting him......oh Janek I just want to check if you can play in 5 or 7.........I just want to show off that I can confuse you with my odd time signatures.............LETS DO ANOTHER ONE, & ANOTHER ,& ANOTHER ONE and Janek was very diplomatic,humble and nice.
