  • Yes, Bugs Bunny Lost in Time! Quite possibly the best Looney Tunes game ever made! Does it still hold up today, or is the game itself a lost gem?
After mistaking a time machine for a giant carrot juice dispenser, Bugs finds himself in the mysterious land of Nowhere, where the ultra-creepy sorcerer Merlin resides in a lone silo. After telling Bugs that the only way back to the present is to journey from era to era collecting clock symbols, Bugs finds himself on a very familiar journey, facing the adversaries of his past, referencing the classic Warner Bros cartoons of the Golden Age. This is indeed a timeless classic!
Speaking of which, for more info on the many allusions to the shorts, check out my blog post from a couple years ago here: idonthaveanose.blogspot.co.uk/...

I remember this game. I think I spent quite a few hours on it back during my non-CZcams days.

This was the first video game I ever played. Good times. You're one of a few people I've seen who actually knows their Looney Tunes shorts. XD

Wow, really? I love Looney Tunes. I have plenty on home video, though only 2 Ralph and Sam shorts are currently on DVD for some reason. It's strange you should mention Looney Tunes as I'm taking a look at Looney Tunes Racing soon.

@@idonthaveanose Yes, really. XD I used to study animation and I was amazed by my classmates complete lack of *any* Looney Tunes knowledge. They were all Disney fanatics. Plenty of love for the Mouse, none for the Bunny. I had a lot on VHS, but I've been slowly building up a DVD library.
Ooooh, LTR! Never played that one. I was too focused on CTR back in the day, despite my Looney Tunes lurve. XD

I always wanted to get into animation when I was a little me, but life took a different turn. I still have my old Looney Tunes VHS tapes and I'm kinda glad since there are many that still haven't been released subsequently. It's a shame the Warner Bros cartoons aren't talked about as much these days - they're iconic, well-animated and very witty, for the most part. As a kid I adored LTR. It was essentially a CTR rip-off I guess, but it was nonetheless well-made and contained plenty of cartoon references to keep me satisfied.

@@idonthaveanose Different turns indeed. I mean I gave up on animation when I realised it wasn't for me, but I did learn a lot. I'm an illustrator/writer now.
Chuck Jones is one of my heroes and his cartoons are one of the tent poles of my sense of humour. WB are weird like that about the cartoons. If you're looking for more LT fans, you'll find the love in *"The Dover Boys: Reanimated".* It uses the audio from the old cartoon, but has scenes redone by different animators. Truly cracking. XD
I've heard plenty of good things about LTR and Space Race. The latter is surprisingly hard to find. I frequently comb the second hand shops for obscure games.
One I might suggest if you want a TRULY dreadful game experience is *Inspector Gadget: MAD Robot Invasion.*

Yes, Space Race seems to be a rarity although it's currently available at my local Cex. My friend and I love playing it now and again. It's hard to explain its appeal. The controls aren't *bad* but often whether you win is based on luck because of how manic it is. It's insane. And much harder than LTR imo. Seriously fun though.
Chuck Jones was an animation legend. So many of his cartoons have since been regarded as some of the greatest of all time. I also appreciate Friz Freleng. He doesn't get nearly as much attention.
I may look into that. It's a while since I've reviewed a truly awful game.

I loved all the earas but honesty as an 8 year old child medieveil period and stone age were my favourite eras, medievil period had the best music and setting as I loved knights and witches and similar and stone age I loved the historical periodic setting, the whole game is a masterpiece realistically.

This gives me an idea for a video ranking the eras. Might consider doing that at some point.

@@idonthaveanose not a bad shout id probably include time busters eras aswell and do a larger video rank the 9 in total in time busters I liked the Arabian themed world alot. It was a great era for video games I fondly remember get deep cover gecko fairytale level as great and the Arabian crash bandicoot levels and the native levels all great memories for me on the PlayStation one

I was thinking of including Bugs and Taz too! Good plan. No idea when I'd get chance to do it atm but it's an idea. Arabian era was good. I always liked the Viking era.

Could you review Duck Dodgers for the N64 its kind of a Predecesor to Lost in Time and Timebusters you Play Daffy as Duck Dodgers but the gaming System , the 3D Animtion and the controll system and move sets clearly shows that this Duck Dodgers game must have inspired the other 2 fantastic plattformers
