The Sony PlayStation was released in September 1995. It competed alongside the Nintendo 64 and Sega Saturn as part of the fifth generation of consoles. A total of 3,061 PlayStation 1 games were released, with cumulative sales of 967 million units.
The PlayStation was the result of a failed partnership between Sony and Nintendo to create a CD-ROM add-on for the Super Famicom. When Nintendo withdrew, Sony's CEO at the time, Norio Ogha, was enraged and appointed executive Ken Kutaragi to develop the PSX in-house with the objective of dethroning Nintendo's Super Famicom.

Silent Hill 1 is one if the greatest gaming experiences I have ever had.
Most disturbing outside of Resident Evil 7 VR for me.
I miss watching my mom play all these ps1 games. Especially resident evil and castlevania
Man sounds like documenting some ps1 games in the wild.
David Bellamy was my mentor ;-)
Some other greats include Ape Escape, Twisted Metal 2, Xenogears, Time Crysis, Die Hard with a Vengeance, Tomb Raider, Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver, FF8, FF9, Chrono Cross, Medal of Honor Underground, Grandia, Crash Team Racing, Intellegence Cube, Darkstalkers 3, Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo, Final Fantasy Tactics, Valkyrie Profile, DoDonPachi, Rival Schools, Abe's Exxodus, Alundra, Breath of Fire 3 and 4, Star Ocean: The Second Story, Jet Moto, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit!
Thanks for sharing, great list 👍
Gran Turismo 2 is a game I never get tired of playing. It's my favorite racing game of all time. And I love the modern Forza and GT games
Play GT3, the best by far
@@ClassicReplay that's a wird way of saying GT 4 🥲
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
GT2 is my favourite game of all time! Almost every GT game is awesome. If you like it try Option Battle series.
Armored Core series were some of the best mech games on ps1. The gameplay and 3d polygons we’re way ahead of its time.
Hell yeah! I need to do another vid 🤣
A note regarding Ace Combat 3:
The western release was significantly cut back compared to the Japanese release, of which contained numerous missions, multiple endings and animated/voiced cutscenes in an anime format by Production I.G - The iconic animation studio responsible for Ghost In The Shell 1995. It's arguably one of the best earliest entries in the AC series that many have patched to play.
Great list here. Thanks for sharing
I can play Dino Crisis 2 over and over. They broke away from slow pace of the first game and added some arcade action to the sequel. Great story too.
Great game for the time, no doubt about it. I was a Jurassic Park nut back then. So when I first saw the PlayStation T-Rex demo I was blown apart. Imagine my excitement when I first saw Dino Crisis. Unbelievable for the time.
Crash 3 | Tekken 3 | Crash Team Racing | WWF SmackDown 1&2 | twisted metal 4 | Gran Turismo 1&2 | Tony Hawk's pro skater 2 | Spiderman | Gex 3 | Spyro | NFS 3&4 | Shane Warne/Brian Lara cricket
If this by any shot of imagination brought a smile and an invisible tear of joy to your face, then i tip my hat to you....because if you didnt have a happy childhood, atleast you had happy memories disconnecting from the world and playing these games
Good list! I had all of those 👍
You were right when you said many people bought a Playstation console because RE2 and I was one of them. I bought it because of RE2 but I stayed because of SOTN, absolute piece of art. You forgot a couple of gems like Soul Reaver, how dare you? LOL!
I agree! Soul Reaver should be in there 👍
I think he likes driving games
PS1 - Home of driving games
What tipped you off?
I think Aliens Res is probably the best Aliens game, so much atmosphere. Personally I'd always add Alundra to a top PS list, such a great Zelda style game with a really dark plot that grips you... I got to the last boss twice, save game deleted by son twice!
100% on Alien Resurrection. As for Alundra, I did think about it, but it looked more like a 16 bit game than a PlayStation game, plus I found it quite difficult. Todays kids don’t give games enough time to impress. Straight on to the next. I tried so many games with my daughters, nieces and nephews, this was some long drawn out research, I was sure I’d never make this vid. These were the ones they wanted to play the most. I had to restrict access to Resurrection as they all wanted to play that, but not old enough. In fact Crash Bandicoot was their favourite followed by FF7. Plus I had my input 😀
Final Fantasy Tactics, Street Fighter Alpha 3, PaRappa the Rapper, Um Jammer Lammy, Tomb Raider & MLB The Show 2000.
Very nice list 👍 the only one I’ve never played is MLB The Show 2000
Your number 1 is my number 1. Excellent video thanks 😊
Massively underrated, first wrestling game to draw me in and keep me hooked.
Why everyone forget that Megaman Legends 2 had dual analog for movement and camera while you can still play with the tank controls... also it was like watch an anime the whole game
Most people probably didn’t have a duel analog controller. I don’t recall having one until PS2 arrived.
I thought the wrestling game at the end was going to be a joke, but the joke never ended.
Here’s a joke for you. Opinions are like bum holes, we all have one 😉
Snack Down 2 😂 thanks for a nice review keep it up🤘😎
You put Smackdown 2 there? Respect!
Still play it
Great list! Huge part of my childhood. And many more. Kids today cant have the feeling of being a 90's child playing complete free of DLC with few if any bugs and amazing stories/gameplay. I feel a little sad for them.
Well said! I'd just like to add, my two girls are five and seven now, but they started their early gaming life on the PS1 before moving up to Nintendo Switch and PS4. Sometimes they still ask me if they can play Crash Bandicoot or Spyro on PS1 🙀
@@ClassicReplay you are a great father no doubt!
First game I saw after war in Bosnia was Gran Turismo 2 on Play Station in a playroom. I know that after various Super Mario and Nintendo, Sega games we collected our jaws on the floor.
Great list! Maybe due to growing up with the start of video/arcade games, a lot of these still look impressive to me. Love Toca, I seem to recall you could have in-car view, it felt incredibly realistic. They refused to compromise so you'd get some mad slowdown at a tight bend with 8 million cars, but it didn't matter. The sounds as well (plus music by EZ Rollers!). Silent Hill and Resi were epic. Wipeout was so classy. Great memories.
The best of memories and like you I loved TOCA, especially the mad slowdown 🤣
I love the reverence in your voice.
Thanks For The Memories. When Gaming Was New Exciting & Fun…Just Pop In The Disc & Away You Play. No Internet, DLC’s, Multiplayer Etc. Still Got PS3 Favourite Console Still..👩🦳🙏🇬🇧👍
The PS3 is still in use sitting nicely under my tv. Have some amazing games, especially retro and play Daytona USA and Outrun on a regular basis.
Finally someone putting colin McRae and toca touring cars in. Too many people today choice games just for the price they are now, those two games are two of the best and still cost you a tiver
I know right 😉
thanks good memories of my teens there,
Happy to be of service ;-)
Symphony of the Night is one of my all time favorites. That game is pure awesome . My nephew stayed with me a few weekends ago and we beat it together. Ill always love that one
Easy to pick up and start playing, so much deeper than most games you play today.
Lot of driving games on this list lol. I think Spyro holds up really well. There's a certain type of graphical style that only the PS1 has. Those games still look and play well today. I would also say Final Fantasy Tactics and Parappa the Rapper are still fun and playable today. I'd also throw in Point Blank, but you need a CRT and Guncon to play that one.
All greats you’ve mentioned there. I can see a part 2 coming 😉 thanks for watching
What a great list!
GT 2 great game too
I think u forgot spyro on ps1! Absolut classic of a game! :D
Yes, good game. Hasn’t aged well though
I gotta say. I really dig your style. Intelligence is felt. Interesting indeed. Jokes funny, presentation great. Keep doing your thing, hopefully views, subs rack up a bit.
Awesome! Thank you!
I loved Ace Combat 3,also Quake 2 and Medal of Honor, enjoyed your video!😊
Cheers my friend, how good was Medal of Honor though 🤯
Beating driver was so difficult when you made it to that last mission!!!
I’m sure many of you thought it was impossible and gave up more than a few times just like me???
But if you persevered, you realized that you had to juke, duck, dodge dive and dodge… making use of every turn down a new street all the way to your objective to escape those crazy agents in the black cars!!!
Very intense!
Every word 👍
I loved a ton of these. One i was waiting on was Jet Moto.
Which Jet Moto 😉
Nice to see Vigilante 8 getting some love for a change.
100%
Great list. I never got into beat em ups or fighting games and I never got into console RPGs. But, I'm going to give them a go and see if I have some fun.
Never too late ;-)
If ur looking for a jrpg I'm playing through the first lunar game rn called lunar silver star harmany for ps1. And its friggin amazing! Has voice acting and full anime cutscenes! I'm about 3/4 way through and having a blast
I know this is your list (not mine, obviously), but knowing that you guys are also very fond of football (I'm Brazilian), I was hoping to see a game in this category (Pro Evolution Soccer 2, for example). But, of course, I respect your list.
Yes, love Football. I was never a fan of the Pro series, preferred Sensible Soccer ⚽️ I quite liked FIFA: Road to the World Cup. I know better now, the Pro Series rocks
Great video! Timb raider 1-3, metal gear solid and Silent Hill were the best! My favs! Also, How reliable overall and overtime is the launch PS1(SCPH-5501).? I bought it on launch day in the 90s and was great. Then haven't owned it in so long, until this past week I bought one in mint condition. I hear alot of good things about it except The laser in the disc reader can sometimes not read disks over time or give up. But I heard the same issues for PSone model as well. As for hardware, it has great performance and no heating issues. It's a great classic console!
I really like the Saturn, it’s a better console than people give credit. But yes, the PS1 blew me away!
Bro I dont think anyone will laugh at these games they were the starting point of what we have now without them we wouldnt have this much great games years later ❤
This should've been the PlayStation Classic lineup.
Thanks my friend ☺️ I know everyone hates on the PlayStation Classic, but I bought one, modded it and fell in love
Ps1 came out when I was 14, I got a job in the school holidays to save for it and I got Aliens, broken sword, MK trilogy, and I'll never forget playing MGS and Resident Evil for the first time.
My god that must have been an amazing time, experiencing all those games.
@@ClassicReplay it was and I was a child playing Mario and sonic, 80s 90s were a great time. But I'm enjoying all these games again on my steam deck.
Legend of dragoon was one of the best jrpgs on the ps1 imo
Nice to see Silent Hill on here. It's still my favorite of the series (and I played the first three again a few years ago) but it gets overshadowed by the second game I think in part because a lot of people played that one first and came back to the original with expectations of a similar type of story. I think the story of the first game is actually more disturbing and crazy than the second one because the second one is much more of a character study. The music in the first game is more unsettling too.
If I made a top 20 PS1 list it would be very RPG heavy, ha ha. But I would also fit MGS, RE2, SH, and probably SOTN in there. And I really do like OG Tomb Raider a lot. It was always clunky to control but I think the exploratory level design and atmosphere (aided by wonderful snippets of music) is still good. Thing is though, for more action-oriented titles like platformers, wrestling games, and FPS games, I mostly got my fix on the N64 back then. It's very possible that I never quite gave the PS1 its due in that area as a result.
I can’t disagree with anything you’ve said. On a different day the list gets turned on it’s head, there’s way too many classics to try and break things down to a small list. Silent Hill is a fantastic experience, still is, as you say it’s more unsettling. I’m more old stamp JRPG’s, but even then it all depends on the game. I had the N64 as well, but nothing in the N64 touched Smackdown IMPHO.
Hey! What voice gen do you use for your videos? I'd really like to know! Cheers

Just tonnes of original playstation games that still play amazingly today and those that say they cant handle
Some rough polygons and a bit o warp nees to have an HD detox and activate their dried up imaginations😂😂😂 theyre missing out on some (admittedly slightly janky) good times!! Cool video btw
Great list! Thanks for watching
You Forgot Tomba and Jersey Devil!✔️
Grand turismo is still my favourite have it on the ps1 ps2 ps3 psp 😊
I was pleasantly surprised with the PSP version. I’d have played it sooner if not for the critics giving it average reviews.
PlayStation the best console ever
🔝🙏🏻❤️
You'll get lynched using that language 😝
No Tomb Raider? Really?? Tomb Raider started a mega franchise and is by far even to this day the best open world puzzle adventure game i've ever experienced. Sure there are some great ones out there but there was something magical about tomb raider
I agree, but would people really still want to play the old PS1 Tomb Raider games today, when you can play the likes of Unchartered, God of War and Elden Ring. If this were PS2, then at least one would feature, but all opinions at the end of the day.
@@ClassicReplay I see your point but the same can be said about all the other games on this list. All games are new and improved with stunning graphics and gameplay. But as you say all opinions and we all differ bless you mate. Oh and i thought Syphon Filter was another classic game for the PSX
@@Popesta I loved Syphon Filter, my god what a game! Good call, completely escaped me.
@@PopestaWell said, I’ve gotten into retro games because I feel games have lost their way. Too much emphasis on realistic graphics and battle passes for my tastes.
in my opinion, both god of war and uncharted lost their appeal after their third game.
Elden Ring might be good. I haven’t played it since I don’t like Souls-like games.
I don’t like they way that they changed Tomb Raider either, so I prefer the games before the 2013 reboot.
This just goes to show how differently people can see the same things. A game can be a blocker in sales, but not everyone will like it.
@@majorgear1021 They absolutely have lost their way. Todays games for me feel boring and shallow. Game devs follow the trends these days rather than being innovative and trying something new because they know thats what sells. I fear our future for gaming is just boring old clones of fortnite because kids of today would complain its all they know. Fortunately we have a vast back catalogue to absorb ourselves in. Happy gaming @majorgear1021!
You really like racing/car games eh hahaha that’s fine
There's a good mix ;-)
Vigilante and Twisted Metal best couch coop games
Great list but how did duke nukem and die hard escape it??
Never played Die Hard Escape on PlayStation, Duke Nukem is better elsewhere, but would definitely get into my top 40 mind.
This list is pretty solid and fair. Now, I have been reading through alot of the comments on this video and people are saying they would more likely vote majority RPG games or the list is missing lots of RPG titles. However, you do have to remember the most popular games are the ones that are the most mainstream and appeal to the masses because many of the RPG's for PS1 are very rare especially mega man, clock tower, shadow tower, misadventures of tron bonne, and MM legends 1 and 2. Not everyone got to enjoy the RPG unless they were heavy fans or intentionally looking for the titles/genres.
I prefer JRPGs but old skool. Thanks for the kind words and insight, I agree 👍
Mortal Kombat 3 was awesome on the PS1. It was like having the arcade machine in my home.
Have you tried the new Mortal Kombat? Also UMK3 was amazing but can’t recall if that came out on the PS1
@@ClassicReplay oh yes, I've got MK11 on my Deck too. I just love the original ones as well. I generally play the arcade MK series on MAME.
You never played RC De Go? I think based on your list that you would love it! RC Pro Am meets Gran Turismo...
I did play it a lot, good game. Shame it didn’t have two player.
Totally agree with everything you said about THPS compared to THPS2!
It’s good to know I’m not on my own 😉
Some great picks here, especially Spider-Man, Destruction Derby, and Driver, which are often overlooked, but I can't condone leaving Spyro out and claiming that Vigilante 8 is better than Twisted Metal 2 (maybe if you listed the other games in the TM franchise, but not 2).
Spyro would make it on a different day. The beauty of the PS1 is that there’s so many great games, you can literally chop and change your opinion on a daily basis. You might be right on Twisted Metal 2, like I mentioned, it’s up to the player. Thanks for watching 👍
V8>TM!
Rouge Trip: Vacation 2012 was the best PS1 car combat game
@@gungeondan9126 Since that was made by the developers of TM2, I'd accept that.
I’m not sure about the best, but just had a go and happy to report I had fun 🤩
Good games, I still play MGS, Silent Hill and RE2 now and then. I still use my ps2 as well. 95% of modern gaming is not for me. I feel like I have to work for the game, instead of just sitting down and have a good time. The 360/PS3 era is the last one I truly enjoyed.
I agree 100% I can't get on with a lot of these new games. A case of Emperors new clothes. Thanks for watching.
Great video and helped me alot 😁
That’s what we like ☺️
Helped you how?
I agree with a couple of games on this list such as THPS and Tekken 3. Honestly, I still play THPS for PS1 til this day, it is one game that I enjoy and never get tired of and always have a blast playing. I even like it better than THPS 2,3, and 4 ( even though these games are still fun). I read in one magazine to where the greatest PS1 game of all time was Castlevania. I also enjoyed GT 2
THPS 1+2 is a lot more enjoyable on ps1 then on the PS4 remake. PS4 looks great but the handling is horrible and sluggish . Doesn’t feel anything like the original.
sotn was amazing when you where told : theres a whole second castle...
and you went: excuse me what????
i know i did :D also diablo is kind of a gem. i still remember playing it at midnight and being scared absolutely shitless.
until i finally reached the last levels. and u had those succubi? or something. and my mom was pissed thinking i was playing 18+ games at midnight underaged :D
I avoided Alien Resurrection because the movie was so bad. Maybe I'll give it a shot
I got a PlayStation for Christmas when I was 11 years old in 1995-96!
We got Tekken, ridge racer, destruction derby, jumping flash, twisted metal and Street fighter the movie the game!!
I could not be peeled away from destruction derby because nothing like it had ever been seen and it was so fun!! But twisted metal became a returning favorite for me and all of my friends at the time!
Every other major release on this list, I got at the time of its release with Gran Turismo one when I was 13 to 14 and Gran Turismo two when I was 15 and metal gear solid when I was about 15 also and all of these games hold a special place in my heart!
I have to say that some of the best memories were of the total amazement of Gran Turismo, having never seen nothing like that game and then the anticipation leading up to the second one! And then of course resident evil and then the amazing unforgettable resident evil 2 but it wasn’t until playing metal gear solid for the first time that I truly experienced what an cinematic action stealth masterpiece was, and it totally set the standard for what an action game with Hollywood level or voice acting and cinematics should be moving forward!!
Some great memories there
you have to add colony wars red sun to your list
I have never played it. Thanks for the recommendation though. I’m finding games I never played or knew about at an alarming rate. Back then my budget only stretched so far ☺️
@@ClassicReplay it was one of the best space shooters - go anywhere no rails
@silverbackhc a bit like Elite, I will check out 👍🏻
Crash Bandicoot - You're playing it wrong. Don't you know that you're not supposed to be careful and avoid enemies while picking up everything? You're supposed to run through the levels as fast as possible, smashing into enemies and missing half the pickups. ;)
Spider-Man - The controls annoy the hell out of me. The fact that you can only turn in 45 degree increments means that you can never properly line up jumps, or run along narrow platforms without falling off. I managed to complete the game on Windows despite a bunch of bugs, but I rage quit the challenge mode and never went back to it. The section late in the game that has you going through a corridor without touching the floor had me screaming at the screen in frustration.
My recommendations;
NASCAR Rumble - Other than the cars, it doesn't really have anything to do with NASCAR. It has a large number of cars and tracks, powerups (that can be turned off), shortcuts, big jumps, crashes. It's probably the closest thing to a Burnout game you'll find on the PS1.
Rival Schools - Anime inspired fighting game. Large cast of characters, tag team action and over the top moves.
Spyro the Dragon - Enjoyable platformer. One of the most impressive features is that there's no fog. It has quite a long draw distance and even then, things that are too far away to see realistically come into view as you get closer to them.
Tiny Tank - Unique little shooter where you guide a robot tank around the landscape and destroy enemies. It's cute, but not in an obnoxious way.
Thanks for leaving a comment, NASCAR Rumble is a fantastic game, had lots of fun with that one. I suspect not many people realised the style of game and passed it by thinking “not another NASCAR game”. I see where you’re coming from with your other comments as well, but can’t agree with you about Spider-Man 👍
@@ClassicReplay Whenever I'd try to line up a jump or web swing in Spider-Man, I could never get it perfect, it would always be off to the left or the right. Then I'd have to change direction in the middle of the swing, usually multiple times because first it would go too far to the left, then too far to the right, etc. This was especially troublesome when trying to land on a smaller target, like the top of the crane to see the Easter egg. When on the building that was under construction, I kept falling off the beams. Also, a lot of times, I had trouble going up to enemies and hitting them, because he wouldn't be facing them. I also missed throwing stuff at enemies quite a lot.
Oh, and the cutscene in the middle of the Catch Venom level that seems to screw up on most every system and either leave you stuck in the opening, have you swing to the wrong building, or just fall to your death.
I will admit that I do have a bit of a sore spot for this game because of how many problems the Windows version had (which Activision knew about and never patched). It crashed quite often, sometimes the controls just stopped working for several seconds, and I had to delete the prefs, then reconfigure the controls each time I ran it, or the game would start in EXTREME slow-motion.
On the PS1 where I played it the most, then later on the Dreamcast (surprisingly not as fluid). It was a great experience, camera angle is always and issue with these early 3D games, same with Tomb Raider. But I just remember having a whale of a time with one of my favourite superheroes.
@@ClassicReplay I actually don't mind the camera in Tomb Raider. If you imagine that the camera is attached to the back of Lara's head with a flexible pole, its movement becomes almost entirely predictable. If there's enough room, it's straight behind her, but if not, it bends off to the side. And there's always the Look button.
I actually hate third person games where the camera and the character turn independently of each other. In Max Payne and Jedi Academy (Windows), the mouse controls both the camera and the character, making it easy to strafe and shoot enemies while running backwards. More modern games make you use a lock-on system to make up for the fact that while the camera might be looking at an enemy, your character may have their back turned to said enemy. Also, the camera tends to be equally as useless in cramped areas as the old Tomb Raider camera.
Man on the sega cd thunder strike was my jam.super cool list an video
Cheers my friend. Please share 😉
No one ever included sports GameDay 98 Shootout 98
You forgot:
Loaded
Darkstalkers
Marvel vs. Street fighter
Clock Tower
Twisted Metal 2
Tenchu
Bloody Roar
Oddworld
MegaMan X4
Need for speed 3
That list just shows how good the PS1 is, you could do another list and argue that was the best
“More disturbing than Borat in a thong” 😂. Sub earned
Cheers my friend ;-)
I can’t believe your number 1 pick is a wrestling game and obviously you like racing games quite a bit. All I can say is my list would be quite a bit different, but it doesn’t matter. I love old JRPGs and that makes the PS1 my favorite console of all time probably.
Do share your list please, intrigued. Yes I love racing games, fighting games and shmups. I also love old stamp JRPGs.
did you play Suikoden?
The 2d games have aged well
It turns out the PS1 was a 2D powerhouse after all
why he become a cultist from blood for a second 3:32
i remember getting my ps1 out of dixons bundled with dino crisis and driver.,excellent upload btw love this channel👍
Those two games there = Amazing for the time! Did you ever play NASCAR Thunder, I swear better than the Destruction Derby series
@@ClassicReplay tbh no but i will check it out.thanks for the reminder👌
That's a lot of driving games. :-) I appreciate you adding the honorable mentions. I've never heard of most of those and a few look right my alley. Pixel art holds up a little better years later than low poly count. But Ace Combat 3 looks pretty impressive.
Glad you enjoyed! So many forgotten greats. Just out of curiosity, what retro and new games are you into?
Missing Brian lara's cricket - still best cricket game ever!
That was actually quite good to be fair 🤣
Smooth brain selections
My Top 10 PS1 Games of all Time are
1. MGS1
2. RE2
3. CastleVania SOTN
4. FF7
5. FF9
6. Spyro 2 Ripto’s Rage
7. Crash Bandicoot Warped
8. Silent Hill
9. RE3 Nemesis
10. Dino Crisis 1 and 2
DOOM & DOOM 2 on the same disk.....
Resident evil 2 was terrifying 😂😂😂
Scared the hell outta me 😝
@@ClassicReplay I genuinely thought it would be a chance that we could have a outbreak 🤦🏿♂️🤣🤣🤣😂😂 my 8 eight year old mine was horrified
I think the main difference between silent hill and resident evil is that resident evil is, at its core, and action horror game. Yes it's supposed to be creepy and scary, but you're really there to shoot stuff.
Silent Hill on the other hand is a straight horror game. It's focused on the story, the environment, it's slower paced, and the action is much less but still effective when you do need to use it.
Could agree more…
both Crash and Spyro trilogies
My favourite is Crash Team Racing. Great series as a whole. Spyro is a good series but I'm not sure it holds up as well today. I couldn't get my kids to persevere with it. I need a top 30 ;-)
Fantastic video!
Cheers mate. Thanks for watching
How Twisted metal and spyro not in the list?
Great games!
20 racing ps1 games that stood the test of time* fixed.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Agile Warrior was another really fun action packed flight Sim type game like ace combat or air combat if you’re talking about the first one?!
Agile warrior let you do a lot of things that you couldn’t do in ace combat.. and it had more air to ground missions!
But it’s a really good early 96-97 PS1 Game!
Never heard of it unless it was released in Europe with a different name 🤷🏻♂️
@@ClassicReplay Yeah I barely remember it myself and I used to get it mixed up with bogey Dead?!?!
But in the United States it’s called agile warrior and it featured like a brownish colored jet on the front case?!
@@ClassicReplay I can’t remember exactly what made me like it better as a child, but I always enjoyed it more than ace combat or air combat if you’re talking about the first one..
You missed medal of honor underground
Did I ☺️ one of the best PS1 games without fail. Question would be does it still hold up today
All these games are available in emulators, you can even download them in your phone
Shush 🤐 you’ll get us all lynched by Nintendo
Great stuff! 😎
Thank you! Cheers!
smack down two was a game i spent tens of hours on. i believe going guest ref and just smashing everyone for hours is what i did for fun as a child :D
It's funny, I love replaying Silent Hill, but I can not replay Resident Evil 2, the controls are so hard to deal with.
I know exactly what you mean. But once you get back into it, hard to put down. But what about Silent Hill 2 oh my days!
Some great bangers in this list!
Thanks mate, let me know some of your personal favourites as I’m always trying to learn more about games I’ve missed.
A VERY solid list!!
Glad you think so!
@@ClassicReplay if you're interested - check out my PS1 lists!! (sorry, shameless plug) I did genuinely watch your video though! 😂
That’s fine, one big happy community.
@@ClassicReplay my brother!!

Gt 1 and Gt 2 are the best games on ps1

Ape escape
2:20 just raw...skill...🤔
I’m happy my comedy value hasn’t gone unnoticed 🙃
Surprised Soul Reaver isnt on here, didnt play it?.. Should've at least been an OLI😜
Loved Soul Reaver. I need a bigger list 🤣
"You hate us cuz you anus" - that hits deep man 😥
For some that’s a bonus 🤔
Ah Vagrant Story
Solid list mate 👌
Cheers mate!
Ahhh yes! Thought no one knew about this masterpiece. I always tell everyone to at least try this game once! The cinematic, gameplay is one of the most unique and satisfying!
Also, another honorable mention would be Final Fantasy Tactics. That had a great storyline, gameplay and soundtrack.
