- Hey everyone! Welcome to my long-awaited follow-up to my Bugs Bunny: Lost in Time References video! This time, I'm taking a look at the Warner Bros. cartoons that inspired its 2000 indirect sequel, Bugs Bunny & Taz: Time Busters! This game isn't quite as jam-packed with allusions to the classic shorts but it's an interesting delve into the research behind the scenes of the game nonetheless. At the beginning of this video, I also cover a couple of the references I missed in the Lost in Time video.

I've always been interested in a references video for Looney Tunes Racing, since it's the most reference-dense LT game of this particular era. great job btw!

Really enjoyed this references video! Regarding the blue bulldog in Granwich, I always thought/suspected he might be Spike the Bulldog (often paired with Chester the terrier) without his hat and red t-shirt. Bulldogs in Looney Tunes are always so confusing and with inconsistent color palettes it's easy to confuse Hector, Spike and Marc Antony!😅🤣
I did initially talk about Spike in the video but wound up cutting it as I decided it wasn't him. I might upload the deleted scenes to my Patreon one day but there weren't many interesting things cut. I do think it's a coincidence. We had the same thought though!

Because of your love of looney tunes would you ever do a review of the game "looney tunes back in action" as i haven't played it since it came out but remember so many easter eggs in it, both the game and film

This game is what if Bugs Lost in Time was a triple a title but I would imagine a third game in which bugs has to team up with daffy kinda like Back in Action but with Multiverse called Bugs Bunny and Daffy: Nuttyverse Hunt

Do you mean Spike as in Spike and Chester? I considered him but I don't think it's him. If it's a different Spike, what cartoon is he from?
7:30 I have a counterpoint, and that is that the enemies in this era come back as lost in time in later eras where they use their spear to fly, making it a way more challenging lost character

I literally never played this game and I never even heard of it but this does remind me of bugs Bunny in time or whatever it's called I really liked it that game well I told you before

it might be a reach, but considering the 30s setting and gang focuss, i wonder if the bulldog wasn't intended to be the same as the spike expy of " a hare grows in manhattan" only stripped of his sweater and hat. either way the sparcity of the references in that game was always weird to me, especialy in levels like transylvania and even the snowbound viking era, felt like the perfect place to have a hugo cameo, it's not like geography matters much to the looney tunes. Tho the weirdest choice remains choosing the aztec era over the wild west, wich is probaably the most comonly used historical era in the cartoons. either way, great job on the video! it's nice to see someone go in depts when it comes to looney tunes media!
Ahhh yeah, I never thought of him, but yes, it is a bit of a reach. I did think of Spike, as in Spike and Chester, but wound up cutting a part in which I discussed him because it just felt irrelevant. This game's references are far fewer and further between. I also considered the piranhas eating the bombs to be somewhat like the big fish in Captain Hareblower but, again, it seemed coincidental.

Can you do this again with the references of the N64 Duck Dodgers game ? Its kinda the first part of the time travel trilogy it has nothing todo with time travel but lost in times jump n run elements are clearly inspired by the N64 game

Basically a long time ago sky used to have games that were playable on the TV and it got discontinued in 2015 I think 🤔
