A few scenes from the Super Duper Cut are good but Theatrical Cut is way better, especially the final fight at the mutant orphanage. Welcome to the party and Take On Me fits those scenes a million times better than those other songs
The theatrical music is a lot better and most of the replaced jokes are better theatrically as well. I do not think most of Deadpool's jokes are even written. I think it is whatever comes out of his mouth. If it fits the scene and is not too much to piss off some thin-skin Twitter Twit...then again they spent 8 years years calling everything racists and supporting Pedophiles. "Good luck bringing her back, fuckheads!" 😂 The only change I didn't like was the film replacing the songs during the fight scene and the heaven scene. Other than that, I like the super duper cut.
That is mad confusing, because when I saw it in my local theater, there were elements from both cuts. Some scenes were from the Theatrical Cut, some from the Super Duper Cut. Like the theater got both and remixed it, lol.
I have to say, pretty much every alternate line is better in the theatrical cut. Also the actual additions to the long cut, like the early scenes with Russell, or the extended bathhouse massacre, just make the pacing feel clunky. It feels like a rough cut that needs refined. The theatrical flows more like a finished movie, and the jokes land better. I can see why the actual filmmakers chose to do their commentary for the theatrical version. If anything, the extended cut makes me appreciate the theatrical more.
Sad truth about many extended/alternate cuts. We went through a phase for many years where the novelty of "A longer version with more scenes" was ONLY ever seen as a good thing. Extra character development and world-building were exclusively praised as positive additions to the films. Not realizing that they often come at a cost of ruining or throwing off the pacing, or simply adding in material that, while fun or interesting, is not a NET POSITIVE for the overall movie. A scene that is good in and of itself does not automatically make the overall movie better by being in it. The Extended Editions of the Lord of the Rings are my most controversial examples of this. People have used the EEs as the "Default" for so long that they forget how incredibly well paced and perfected the theatrical cuts are....people have completely forgotten what it is like to watch a LOTR movie that isn't padded out to 4 hours.
I remember hearing that Deadpool 2 used that cover of Take on Me and when I went to watch it I couldn't find any moment where that happened so I just ended up really confused, now I realize I watched a different cut. Thanks for letting me know.
It's pretty difficult to find some theatrical cut versions of Deadpool 2 on CZcams. But the Super Duper Cut has some good scenes like Domino's interview, fast bullets, and the time travel scene.
It's additional footage from the take used in the 2009 Wolverine movie. Hugh saying 'Oh... Right' was probably him reacting to the director's instructions while the camera was rolling.
@@SnoopOnaStoop7 yeah, but the writing still should be funny. What nobody realizes about acting is you dont always have a perfectly strict script for comedy, and even other genres. Right?
why’d they do that tho
@@lanzpat0725 I dunno, but the one cut has the extended bath house fight scene and it's awesome, and the other two don't.
It’s him improvising so they record a few takes and pick the best ones. It’s why Deadpool + Ryan Reynolds works.
@@mylestrumbore5382 Just get all three movies and splice them together in your own preferred way. Lol
"Good luck bringing her back, fuckheads!" 😂
The only change I didn't like was the film replacing the songs during the fight scene and the heaven scene. Other than that, I like the super duper cut.
The changes were better
MavocGaming Why?
@@rubyrude.infinite more jokes and songs
That is mad confusing, because when I saw it in my local theater, there were elements from both cuts. Some scenes were from the Theatrical Cut, some from the Super Duper Cut.
Like the theater got both and remixed it, lol.
The last scene with Wolverine makes so much sense now with his returning!!! 😭
I remember a version of Vanessa saying Elvis isn't dead
Theres is way too many versions of this movie
That's the TV edit.
The last bit aged liked the finest wine in the world
7:21 that magnificent bastard actually did it!
Did anyone else notice that he wrote 'cute' instead of 'cut'
what? no...
where?
oh, I see it now...lol
Yeah I don't know why probably the e is silent.
@@abramsullivan7764 what
"Take on me" was perfect, linking back to the original movie :'(
I remember hearing that Deadpool 2 used that cover of Take on Me and when I went to watch it I couldn't find any moment where that happened so I just ended up really confused, now I realize I watched a different cut.
Thanks for letting me know.
It's pretty difficult to find some theatrical cut versions of Deadpool 2 on CZcams.
But the Super Duper Cut has some good scenes like Domino's interview, fast bullets, and the time travel scene.
When Dealpool said “do people still homebrew” I 𝙛𝙚𝙡𝙩 that.
It's spelled Deadpood.
Hugh isn't coming back sadly.
Just for deadpool movie. He will (please come back wolverine :( )
He might but not as *WOLVERINE*
AssembleA he said he might if Disney got the X-men which they do now so there’s still hope
Was that last seen actually him though?
Ryan has figured out a loophole where Hugh shows up in X-Force as himself
I needed this...
There’s no way they had planned that very last super duper cut. No way.
Did Hugh Jackman actually make a cameo here or is it just trickery?
Nintendo Fanboy hugh gave Ryan Reynolds permission to use the actual footage from x men origins, so just an editing trick
@@codepo77 Oh okay thanks
It's additional footage from the take used in the 2009 Wolverine movie. Hugh saying 'Oh... Right' was probably him reacting to the director's instructions while the camera was rolling.
They took the original scene and edited Hugh with CG
Trickery
Theatrical is better, the super duper jokes sound like a guy trying really hard to be funny.
Seeing as how its probably a bunch of cut jokes
The Adam Sandler version
@@PieroMinayaRojas oop
Isn’t that what his character is ? A guy trying way too hard to be funny all the time
@@SnoopOnaStoop7 yeah, but the writing still should be funny. What nobody realizes about acting is you dont always have a perfectly strict script for comedy, and even other genres. Improvised acting is in movies all the time, and these are most likely just jokes that were cut in the final edit that they decided to share
I just realised that post-credit scene in the Super Duper Cut is actually foreshadowing for Deadpool 3 when Hugh Jackman comes back one last time as Wolverine!
Also, this whole video made me realise how much you get with the blu-ray of this film. Literally two different cuts entirely. Not just an extra scene here and there, completely alternate scenes throughout. Love it! 😅
I just realized they teased Deadpool 3 in the 2nd movie
The only super duper cut line that I actually audibly laughed out was at 2:56 "I had no idea hopeless, was a color" that shit was hilarious
