I would argue if you put enough bodies in the back as dunnage, you won’t need to tie things down.
She has a Decked storage in the back of the truck, that said, if anyone sees the video more than half of the wheel box is outside of the bed, which means that you only need a pot hole or a speed bump of the size of whatever it's inside the bed to loose your new wheels. I wouldn't risk it either 😅

I put Method wheels on mine too, paired with my KO2's. I went with the bronze color, and I LOVE them! My truck is red, so the contrast really works well. I went with no offset with mine.

Chloe, love your channel and the positive role model you display for the "can do" ladies of America. You should check out Icon Rebound Pro wheels! They have DOT approved bead locks that perform even in single digit psi. I have them on my Trail Boss wrapped in Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT tires. They are quiet on road, float over sand, and crawl like a caterpillar over rocks. Love your build and that you do it yourself, very inspiring. Keep up the good work!

Love the new look of the Method 706. Just watched, definitely like the 0 offset. Can you get the TRD Pro in a 0 offset? I sure haven't been able to find them. And I checked Method website, doesn't seem that the matte black are available in a 17 x 8.5 now.
I love the OEM wheels to be honest bc they fit well and look so good. But Method wheels are extraordinary and reasonably priced. I chose Black Rhinos for my truck. So many good ones out there. The silver paint and black wheels/wheel well arches look killer. The Methods are perfect w/slightly more neg offset.
I ran ko2s on a 4Runner back in the day. Never got stuck in the snow or sand. Pretty aggressive but yet good for the pavement.

I’m still running with the oem trd pro rims. But just curious are you still able to view the taco tire pressure on the cluster?
Methods are awesome, I just got MR 305NVs myself. do you know are your new wheels cone seat and do they require extended threads? I was told TOYOTA have short lugs and need extended threads on the cone seat lugs. I am having a tough time finding wheel locks that are cone seat and extended thread for my methods, if you have any luck would love to know. The 0 mm offset on methods looks really good!!

Do these new wheels have the same or greater load rating compared to the original Toyota wheels? They look very nice! 🙂
Quick question re the TPMS - if you rotate the wheels around to get better wear out of the tyres, would the sensor positions become confusing because the sensors would now be moved from front to back or even side to side?

I have a 2020 4 cylinder, im looking to upgrade the wheel and tires. Would 265/70 16 be too big for that truck? I know it's common with the v6 models, just don't know if they create too much drag on the truck. Was thinking about just going with the stock size so it wouldn't mess with the speedometer but if they work without issues id go with the 265.
Your videos are great. Did you need to pull the front mud guards?
Did you happen to measure the overall height of the tire mounted on the TRD wheel vs the Method? Curious if there is a height diff with the 1.5” wider wheel.
Can you Repeat what you said about the lug nuts? What kind of lug nuts do you recommend?
Great facts on these Method Race Wheels. BTW it looks nice but, I would look at the Titanium. My opinion but again thanks.
What lift do you have currently on this truck. Like the look a lot. Thanks
If you are staying with your original spare tire then I suggest carrying some extra lug nuts with you because the Method lug nuts will not work well with that stock spare. I eventually changed out my original spare with a Method wheel to match the rest.

Subtle change in stance but very good look on your setup. The wider rim allows for a better contact patch when you air down too so great upgrade!

Locking lug nuts is a good idea too
Do you have any experience with 255s pizza cutters? I know you tried the 285s and wasn't a fan.
Been struggling with a similar decision with my vehicle. And for me, it also came down to am I going to be doing some serious rock crawling? What is the percentage of my use off-road.? Me 93% on the road 7% off-road. I’ll utilize the 265s until I realize that I’m becoming more adventurous and then I’ll move up another level.
I've had te37x for around 4 years now and I can't change them to anything else. Weired since I swapped wheels on my cars like every two years. I love the jdm wheels.

I have had several tacomas trds in the same color. Chloe in my opinion those trd wheels look way better of course its a personal choice

Looks great! Did you need an alignment as well?
You don’t need an alignment unless the suspension changes, because new wheels will not affect the alignment. I do like to get an alignment once or twice a year because of the wheeling though (and of course, any time I lift my truck/adjust suspension)

Chloé , I put that same brand, same kind and same size on toyo open country mud 17x13.5 37's on my f250 2018 tubo diesel 6.7 fx4 lariat with a 6inch lift and it's turning heads 😊❤love your posts, Chloe stay awesome...

Nice simplistic OEM look of the out going TRD Pro wheel.
I know you have been using KO2 tires since the inception of your Taco channel but you should really try Nitto tires or a few other brands sometime. Please not trying to start a thread of what’s best. No hate… just live life with options.
