Not sure limiting yourself to 1 per army is a good idea. Some armies have quite a few centerpiece models (and honestly Hight Elves or however they call themselves now have amazing cow mountain that is both bigger and better looking than Teclis). Plus Abominations seems less of a centerpiece than Bell or Verminlord
They also forgot some here and there, like the ossiarch bonereaper one
They did Arkhan there, which is taller than Katakros, but Katakros is much more of a centerpiece.

You forgot nagash, the great unclean and the major demon of slanesh
the fact that the mangler squigg was missed was a disappointment, IMO best model GW makes, loved the video though!
The fact they didn't pick the Mangler Squig for the Gitz or Verminlord for the Skaven is actually more annoying than any rating I disagreed with lmao

The Lore for the Ork Maw Krusha is great.
There i no logical explanation why a big fat brute like this can fly with those relative tiny wings, so there is this story that Maw Krushas in fact cannot fly but no one is brave enough to tell them, gravity itself is afraid of them so they let it pass.
According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a Mawcrusha can fly

your opinion on archaon is basically how i feel about the vast majority of gw's offerings over the past decade... Technically brilliant, but I don't care.
Honestly the old metal Archaon on Horseback is so much nicer imo, so much more focus on a badass grounded hero instead of just going big for the sake of it
The bloodthirster is better in person, and better with the single giant axe
I have to say I like the new Archaon model, but I'm still in love with the old model. There is something indescribable about having the Everchosen of Chaos being this almost regular-size badass warrior with a giant sword, riding a demonic horse. Now *that* was epic.
Yeah the new one feels a little too much for me. I just loose what I am supposed to focus on. It took me a while to even notice that the dragon had three heads

New dragons are not in the store yet, so stumpy the fat dragon is still their biggest.

I think calling Dexcessa the Slaanesh centerpiece is pretty generous when we have things like the Keeper of Secrets...
And also when the twins are noticeably smaller (base ans size) and cheaper on $ and point factor... Personally if picking only 1 I'd take Glutos for show and most ppl would be happy.
Same with Skaven, Abomination is great, but Verminlord is THE monster you want to have first! So many horn options in one model!

You're missing the General on Griffin for Cities, but there's a bit of choice which would be the centerpiece. The other choices are wrong though.

Dankhold Trogboss is an 11/10 for me. Was fairly easy to build and a TON of fun to paint. Kinda the perfect balance of small details and easy to reach, nothing really felt tedious or needlessly difficult.
Also 60ft Ninja Rat that can disguise itself as a clanrat... Clearly you only missed that one because its so stealthy!
The Skaven do also have some good looking vermin lords for centrepiece models, but the hellpit abomination is truly Skaven and wonderful!!!
The best thing about the Bonecruncher Wyvern is that literally only flies because the laws of physics don't want to fuck with it.
Much like myself, the bloodthirster looks better in person

I'm currently in the middle of converting Archaons mount as a bigger badass Bloodthirster, just the three heads to one big Bloodthirster head to go then maybe some additional tweaks here and there, front claws were changed and he's brandishing a huge axe.
I always liked one ogre character that had his start in the old Dogs of War book. And his name is Golgfag. Who is now part of the Maneaters box

Love me some Beastclaw Raiders. Easy to collect, Easy to build, great chance to work on icy effects...just don't look at the very silly, very tiny legs on the back of the mounts.

In AOS lore Slaanesh is in prison. You could model on the spare head from the Ru Paul peacock giant.
Back when the Archaon model came, Slaanesh was bound in a shadow world by Teclis and his buddies where they tried to extract Souls out of him so he wasnt able to sent his greater demons.
All the Heads on Archons mount are the demonic essence of Demon Champiosn sent by their Gods to slay Archaon...didnt work out well.
His mount absorbed their essence and mutated to what it is now.
No Slaanesh to sent Demons, no head.

Yeah… the one model a range is a bit of a miss, just the Slaanesh section proves that since half the discussion was wanting to talk about a different Slaanesh model.
Also look at the new Hedonites of Slaanesh range, cause you mentioned a lot of pretty bad models as reasons for not liking Slaanesh

I think going at any canter pice demon with translation paints would help give them that "out of this world" look like GW paint jobs can lack.

I think you should collect some viewer input on the socials - there's plenty of cool centrepiece models that got entirely overlooked and I think you'd have a good time with them!

You missed Kragnos for Destruction, it's their god tier monster. Also Bel'akor counts as a leader for Chaos in general, even has his own faction. Slaanesh has a few amazing models, not just the Keeper of Secrets but also Glutos and Syll'Esske. You didnt cover any Nurgle, so his blessings will NOT be sent to you. For Nurgle there is The Glottkin and Mobidex Twiceborn, even if you dont count the Great Unclean One. The Verminlord for Skaven is a representation of their deity. It has it's own seat on their council. For Stormcast, even if you don't count the new dragons, there are better looking models than the Stardrake that are generals, Yndrasta being one of them. Also, Death has Nagash himself, the deity model for the faction. A fantastic looking model, impressive in size, detail, and in points on the table. For Ossiarch Bonereapers you can pick Katakros and his large diorama base, think Silent King, but better. The Vampire Lord on Zombie Dragon has a couple of other builds including a leader for Soulblight Gravelords, Prince Vhordrai which looks better than the ghoul king, but you could have also gone with the Coven Throne, not that the Black Coach isnt cool. You guys missed out on real gems.

Honestly archaon is one of them looking at him isnt the same as owning him. I looked at him loads and im like ye hes what ever, got him for my slaves army and its totally a different feeling owning him and how overwhelming his presence is over the army.
