I'm an E86 Coupe fan because they just look so good, and I've never had (or wanted) any sort of convertible in my life.
Hi guys ! thank you for this cool video! I am French, I will do my best in English (google trad 🤣). I have the 3.0si after owning the 3.0i. not easy to decide between them, both are addictive. one for sound, hair in the wind. the other for its nasty sporty coupe look. the ideal is to have a large garage and a well-filled wallet for both 😁

I have owned both the Roadster and now the coupe, there is only a slight difference in power with the Si being more sharper but not a huge difference when compared to the aesthetic where the coupe is timeless. The Roadsters were mass produced compared to the limited numbers of the coupe. I’m either up grading to Z4M coupe or I keep my current Si, the coupe shape is magnificent plus the structural rigidity. The Roadster is as equally as enjoyable as the coupe, I had more fun in the Roadster to be honest.

Hi Ben and Joel.The coupe is the better looking car no doubt. They're not world's apart.The roadster is still a great looking car.Performance is very similar,sounds just as good although the coupe is a bit sharper.That doesn't mean the 3.0i doesn't handle well because it does.The roadster steering wheel is a great piece of design.It is pretty hard to justify paying that much more although I'm always looking out for the right coupe but I'm a bit tight🤫.Great video mate.see u next time.👍👍👍

Z4 roadster all day any day. The coupe can't do what the roadster does, to go Topless! Contrary to popular view, I will go with the roadster all day. Looks way better.

I tried the coupe... Found it quite tinny inside!!! Is it the same on the roadster??I really like the coupe shape, but I wouldn't mind to get the e85 if it is roomer
The coupe looks fantastic where as the roadster looks rather feminine

Ben, I'm torn between an e89 35i and a Z4 coupe 3.0si (auto) for nearly half the price. Help lol lol. As you've owned both would love your suggestion. (a video later would be really cool). Keep up the great content buddy 👍👍
Ahhhh that's such a hard decision. The 35i is an epic car but the coupe is just sexy! Sorry I can't be more help 😅 i do really miss my 35is tho, so maybe that's enough?
Great video my guys. Not sure if you reply to fans but I need advice still.. so I'm passing my test this year and onmy doing it as I want a Z4 (always just had motorbikes).
Now I love the look of the coupe but not sure if I can justify the 8k where as I've seen roadsters for 3k.. when I'm meant to be saving money for a house.
Which would be the most practical for a first time driver as a daily?
Save yourself some money and get a nice 3litre roadstar 👌

Whats the other differences between the si and standard? Is the si the 2006 face-lift?
I believe the normal 3.0i had 230bhp and the si has 260bhp
Am I missing something here guys , you twice make mention that they are different engines with different power outputs , are they not both the 3.0 N52 Engine .

it’s ok 👌🏾 Have now seen that they changed the engine from the M54 ( Joel’s Car ) to the N52 ( Ben’s Car )
No way that e86 is putting out 265bhp.
It will need vanos solenoids possibly even a vanos rebuild.
Both disa valves and also CCV - faulty CCV destroys the disas.
Power output is probably the same as Joel’s
Which z4 engine sounds better, si or the m54?
