I just bought one and built it on a wood foundation. It was fairly easy to install, although you need to watch to keep it square as the walls go up. I did have two roof supports missing from the box. I called Suncast and they sent me them to me next day. I was impressed with their customer service.

I got mine from Menards also , about 5 years ago. I put it on a wood foundation on top of cement blocks. No problems with building it, but this summer i noticed all 4 corners were splitting open where the bend is. A quick email and phone call and i think in a week Suncast sent 4 new corners. I could clearly see a difference between the first set and second set of corners. So after installing the corners im happy again. I do give Suncast credit for standing by their warranty.

I noticed mine are starting to crack too. I just put a few screws in the corners for now(and braced a 2x4 with screws in the inside corner). It's still very sturdy I'll definitely have to do this next spring!
Are the new corners they sent you.... seem upgraded in design where they won't crack in a few years Dien the road?

We just got one & built our platform. Thanks for all the tips. We watched you build it too. Glad you are happy with it & hopefully we will be too!!

Do we live in the same neighborhood?
I have had a crack start in one of my corners of the shed. Structural integrity is still good though. I just put a few screws through the corner to close up the crack.
I just saw another comment on here, where someone else said their shed corners cracked.... but after a call & email Suncast sent them new corners under warranty. I'll look into that next spring. Glad the video was helpful. 👍

I made a wood subfloor/platform with treated wood for mine. The floor of the shed is like a hard resin plastic. It's pretty durable I'd say. I put lag bolts through the sheds floor into the wood platform(so it won't blow away from high winds or storms). But I keep my lawn tractor & snow blower in there. Does just fine. I'd trust it for sure....as long as you have a good platform under the floor wether wood, concrete, or leveled pebbles stone or crushed asphalt etc. FYI a good level surface is needed for best results & ease of install. Good luck 👍
