Noted as a durable player, Jordan did not miss four or more games while active for a full season from 1986-87 to 2001-02, when he injured his right knee.

They could not beat my Piston bad boys nor could they beat Larry Bird and the Celtics. The bulls team when to my post grad school and got to meet them all but for testing purposes. They all are giants 5"11 felt like a midget and their reflexes on the testing we do were all better than the population norms.
Anyway I've seen most the old guys play and My favs in the 80s were Larry Bird (Well I hated him) but Magic, MJ, Isaiah Thomas ( well the entire Piston team for me) Dr J i was a big fan of. Charles Barkley. Bird, MJ and MJ were stand outs that could be on any starting team in history.

By far and away, the best part was when Kenny Anderson and Mark Jackson, shut down all the BS narratives, that MJ lost in the first round, who btw, the other guy just threw it out, without any context, plus the other ridiculous argument that MJ didn't have a left hand, that beautiful change of hand layup against the Lakers that one alone, is enough evidence to showcase that MJ had a left hand! I dare anybody from today's era to pull that move in midair, after making 12 consecutive field goals (that layup was the 13 consecutive field goal, in a blowout Bulls victory, in the NBA 91 finals)! I bet that Michael Jordan musta scored like 10,000 points on left-handed layups, reverse, and whatnot, and probably another 5,000 points driving left and pulling up for a jump shot, the dude had the total package! I was born in 1977, and I fell in love with the game of basketball somewhere in the mid-80s, so basically, I witnessed all of Michael Jordan's career, and started bringing up stupid arguments like he didn't have a left hand, we done with the 90s, in the words of Mr. T "I pity the fool!"

Legler talks about legends sitting at a table... LeBron James would just sit at the spot assigned to him and just stare at true greatness if he was sitting with Jordan, Bird, Magic, Kareem, Kobe, Wilt, Russell and them. None of these guys truly respect James if you ask them off the record, nearly guaranteed. Whatever they'll tell the media is just to stay gentlemanly, but for sure all of them only see him as a fake great. Steph Curry has a better spot and much more respect at that table in my opinion. Same for Hakeem. Greatness isn't about stats, accolades, or records; it's about how these players made you feel and LeBron simply isn't on their level.

He went from November 1990 to June 1998 (when he won the title) without ever losing three games in a row.
In games during the second three-peat where either Rodman or Pippen did not play, the Bulls record was 69-21 (76.67%.).
In those three seasons, Jordan didn't miss a single game.
      MJ was the only constant.
In three years, their W-L without Rodman was 38 - 9 and without Pippen was 31-12.

Jordan played with the Bulls from 84-93. Then 94-98. He missed 64 GAMES in his second season. He basically played less than 12 seasons with the Bulls, considering his comeback in '94 and his 2nd season. He won the Finals in 50% of his Bulls career, going 6-0. Where is Lebron? Around 20%? In a much softer league.
